Its been the worst experience ever. My trouble has started since June 2, 2021 at one kiosk where evidently no one knew what they were doing and added to that are system failures that further cripled the process. I then ended up at another kiosk to help complete the deal, and almost one mont later did I finally get the phones. But two of the phones I received were later returned back to the second kiosk for an adjustment in models. And on May 20th, the clerk processed the return and charged me for the new phones. Yet more than 1 month later I am still waiting for the money I paid to cover the tax on the phones I returned. Multiple calls to their headquarter did not help either. So my message to anyone out there considering buying from them EMPTOR CAVEAT (BUYERS BEWARE)!
The W.A. cell phone rep. gave us the wrong info about getting a refund check in 2-3 business days and he said he would summit the paperwork at the the time of the sale. He didnt send it in and when the check was a no show, he told us that he said 2 weeks for the refund and that we heard it wrong. The cell supervisor, Tom, just made excuses and didnt deal with the issue.The manager, Jorge at the Brookfield CT Costco was amazing and took care of the problem. Costco nationwide has a 90% approval rating because they always make sure the consumer is happy in the end.In the past, we have bought 9 cell phones from them and always were happy. The female rep that they used to have over the last 2 years was excellent. She probably left to become a model.
They know what theyre doing, theyre forthright and honest about their practices as well as the carriers, plus they tend to have the best deals. They told me all the charges on my bill beforehand so I knew what I was paying whereas I got the run around at the Verizon store and ended up with charges I never accepted to nor even knew I had until I got the bill. Point is, Ill take these guys anyday over a main store.
