My wife has been looking into a Miele vacuum for a while, happened to stumble on this store after lunch, the gentleman was very helpful and guided us to exactly what my wife was looking for. Beautiful store, we were going to buy this vacuum at a big name store or online but had the pleasure of buying it from a great mom and pop shop. 5 stars!

Purchased a sewing machine and embroidery machine from them. Starting as a beginner it’s hard to find people that will actually take the time to help you find the products that are the best fit for you and they succeed in that aspect. Will do more business with them in the future, highly recommend
Wonderful Customer Service!I purchased a new Janome MC500e embroidery machine that had a problem. I really wanted this machine to work for me and I hoped the issue was on my end. I do a lot of embroidery digitizing and thought the issue could have been something I was doing wrong. However, I tested my own designs, purchased designs, and the onboard fonts and had issues with all of them. I contacted Mrs. Sew (Lisa) about my problem and explained the issue. I sent her a couple of the designs I had run and she tested one of them on their demo machine in the store and it stitched out beautifully. She was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout the resolution of this problem. Unfortunately, I had received one of the few machines that had a problem from the factory. Lisa was always responsive and extremely helpful. Once we determined it was a machine issue, she promptly shipped out a replacement machine. The replacement machine has been perfect from the first stitch out and every design has been beautiful. I cannot express my gratitude for the wonderful customer service they have provided. Mr. Vac and Mrs. Sew have definitely shown they are a business of integrity and will take care of their customers. Thank you Mr. Vac and Mrs. Sew!!!
I had been looking all over for a PE800 embroidery machine ever since I ordered my PE550D back around March. I had a feeling I should have forked out the extra to get the PE800 in the first place (when they were $659 but I had never embroidered before. Anyway, I finally caved and started to look for the PE800 about a month ago and couldnt find it, nor the PE770 ANYWHERE! So, I kept looking and places that did have it (like Amazon) were charging upwards of $1259 for it!!! I couldnt see myself spending that much for a machine I knew was only half that price a couple months ago. Then I stumbled upon Mr. Vac and Mrs. Sew and they had the machine!!! It was more but only $799! I was hesitant only because I had been scammed on the first machine I bought off a website that turned out to be scammers from China who sent me 3 face masks instead of the machine! But the fact that Mr. Vac and Mrs. Sew had what seemed like a good track record, I had a good feeling and ordered the PE800. I got it within 5 days over here in Vegas... It would have only been 3 days but it was over the weekend! The machine arrived by the day they said it would, its an amazing machine and I am super happy with this store! Thank you very much Mr. Vac and Mrs. Sew for being there when others werent!!!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced! My $500 Miele vacuum stopped working after 2 months. Its obviously a warranty claim, but they refuse to take it back because I didnt keep the original box. Ridiculous
Im so impressed by Lisa (Mrs. Sews) knowledge and quality of service. She responded to my emailed questions after hours, provided advice via phone, and shipped out my order (a new Janome sewing machine) the same day I placed it. I felt like I received all the benefits of outstanding local customer service despite living in another state. Highly recommended.
I think store owners husband and wife, they are extremely rude and arrogant. In the Store you feel extremely uncomfortable, they are never interested in you and they look in your eyes to get you out of the store as soon as possible.

After some research, I purchased a new sewing machine from Mr & Mrs Sew a few weeks ago, early March. I was very pleased with the service I received both before and after I became a customer. I had emailed the store several times in one week with lots of questions and received a response very quick answering all my questions. I even got emails over the weekend after store hours. When I went into the store to make a purchase, Lisa (mrs sew) asked me a lot of questions to try and fit me with a machine that met my needs. She was always very professional and sweet, even though I am pretty sure I drove her nuts with my questions and decision making. She actually recommended a different machine, which was less money, as she felt it was a good fit. I ended up with the one I had my heart set on, however I appreciated her honesty with me.I highly recommend Mr and Mrs Sew, and would definitely purchase from them in the future.
Called to ask about repair, stated I have a kenmore vacuum and lady said we don’t repair kenmore vacuum before I could mention it was just the wheel on the machine I needed put on with stopper at end of shaft. Have the wheel and all just needed them to put a stopper at end. Barely even got a word in so I hung up
I recently purchased an embroidery machine from Mr.Vac & Mrs. Sew after a lot of research into just what I was looking for. I emailed Mrs. Sew and asked her quite a few questions about it. She is very professional, friendly, and very very knowledgeable about the machine I was looking for. The next day, I purchased it from her. I live 325 miles away from the store, but it arrived in 2 days, well packed and sealed. My wife and I have it all together and ready to try it out. Lisa said that if I have any problems at all, to give her a call,and she will be more than willing to help me out. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a sewing or speciality machine. I plan on working with them again in the near future.
Im always happy when I leave Joe and Lisas store. They always seem to be able to accommodate when I have issues with my machines. Theyre attentive and listen to my issues and try to rectify asap so I can run my businesses with working machines. The merchandise they have is top notch and they are extremely knowledgeable knowing about their products. This is definitely a must to visit if youre a sewer best place on Long Island with people who are understanding, knowledgeable and willing to listen to your needs and steer u in the right direction.
I have used these people several times and have a to say, they are excellent. The know their business inside and out. Extremely helpful. They give you tips on how to care for your machine and how to sew difficult fabrics. I totally recommend them for their expertise. And the prices are very fair. We purchased a Miele 10 years ago when they were located in Wantagh. The vacuum was not working properly and I called spoke to Joe and dropped it off the next day. Joe advise me he would look at the machine and give us a call. The next morning he called advised us what needed to be done and the cost. We gave him the approval to do the work I picked it up the next day. Vacuum is running just like new. Its was a pleasant experience working with Mr. Vac and Mrs. Sew. Its nice knowing this type of service still exists.
I must say they have the BEST customer service that I have ever experienced! I ordered a Brothers embroidery machine from them. It was my first time to use an embroidery machine and they answered all my questions and Joe stayed on the phone with me while I threaded and got started! This company is AWESOME!!!! I recommend that everyone buy their machines from them- you will get taken care of!!
Tried to buy something online that was priced at $14.99, but got an error message that says they only accept orders of $15 or more. They said there was nothing they could do about that. They couldnt even just add a penny to the order?? Im not a big fan of games like this to get you to buy needless stuff, so I doubt Ill ever do business with these folks. Good luck if you do.
I am the type of person that researches every product I purchase. I studied Brother sewing machines online and in person at two dealers. The first tried to steer me toward a more expensive machine. At Mr. Vac & Mrs. Sew, Lisa asked me What do you want on your machine? I told her about 5 must haves. She said I have the machine for you! She showed me the SE1900 Embroidery & Sewing machine. She answered every question in detail, demonstrated and was truly informative. The part that really impressed me was that although I have NEVER embroidered on a machine, my first project, a floral monogram, came out PERFECTLY! Mr. Vac and Mrs. Sew really know their machines and have gained a customer who will go nowhere else for my sewing needs.
How about to vacuums from this company. The first was delivered to my mother and everything went great. The second they did not deliver to my home and they had it delivered to a UPS store across town. Had to spend an hour in traffic and take off from work to go pick up a package that should have been delivered to my home I dont understand why they used a shipping method that did not deliver it to where I paid for it to be delivered very unhappy
Three years ago I wanted to purchase a second embroidery machine. I was nervous about making such a large purchase online, but I noticed that Mr. Vac and Mrs Sew were a short drive away from me and that made me more comfortable.There was no need to worry. They always have the time to answer questions and offer advice whether its over the phone or in person at their shop. In fact, Ive learned more in a 15 minute conversation with them than in all the expensive seminars Ive gone to over the years.Today, I was having a problem with one of my machines. Mrs. Sew suggested that I bring the machine in for a look by Mr. Vac. Unlike the other machine repair shop I use, he didnt have me pay for an expensive service call. He popped the machine on the bench and went to work, offering a number of inexpensive solutions.My machine has worked hard for a lot of years and I decided that it was time for it to take a place as a back up machine. I bought another one today. Mrs. Sew sent me on my way with my new machine and a carton of their fabulous thread. I was thrilled!Now Im off to put her through her paces. I know that I have 30 days to be sure everything works properly -- if it doesnt I know they will do the right thing for me. They always have and Im so happy that we found them!

Overall the experience was positive, however, originally I didnt receive my complete order. I contacted the company and they promptly responded and said that an employee made a mistake in packing. They said they would ship out the remainder of my order, which they did. However, they shipped that out in what I would consider the worst possible way, US mail. Since they made the mistake I would have expected them to expedite the missing items

They were really great about getting me the one I needed, getting the money figured out properly and so on. They must ship the day they get an order, because their stuff gets here fast. Do not order from this company, or make sure you will keep the product youre buying because their Return Policy is very restrictive. It actually seems that nothing on the website can be returned. I bought a robotic cleaner thinking that will work for me and my house but it didnt do it so. Unfortunately, after reviewing the Return Policy, I realized I can not return it. So now I have a very expensive ($400) and useless device taken the space I really need for other stuff. Thanks a lot Mr. Vac and Mrs. Sew.
I recently purchased a Miele canister vacuum online from Mr. Vac and Mrs. Sew after a Miele representative highly recommended them as one of their best dealerships.When the company realized that they didnt have the model I bought in stock, they called and told me theyd be willing to ship the next higher model instead, at no additional cost. The higher model retails for $400 more than the model I bought and has several nice upgrades. So of course I said YES, PLEASE. The vacuum works like a dream. Its lightweight, quiet, easy to maneuver, and much more powerful than the Kenmore canisters Ive owned.I still cant believe that this outstanding company was willing to take a heavy loss on a sale in order to maintain their stellar reputation. It seems to be one of those family-owned businesses that places a high priority on customer satisfaction. Trust me, you wont get this quality of service from any of the big box stores. If I ever need to replace the steamer I use for my Amazon business? Ill be buying it from this exceptional company.

I have been a customer of MrVac and MrsSew for over 20 years having purchased 3 different embroidery machines (upgrading each time) and several different vacuum cleaners over those years. There is no other store I would recommend more highly. There are no nicer people to work with anywhere. God bless their success. It is very well deserved. (and no, I am not a relative and I did not get paid to say this!) I moved out of state but still go back for all my needs.
I decided to buy a Janome Sewing machine (Memory Craft 6100) and spent a considerable time checking out machines on the internet. I came across Mr. Vac and Mrs. Sew and decided to order my machine through them. The price and their web site was was my deciding factors. The machine arrived quickly (even though it was Christmas week). I ended up sending an e-mail regarding a question I had and I received a call the same day to address my e-mail. Their customer service is excellent and I would not hesitate to order from them again or recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a new sewing machine. Also, love the sewing machine, does everything as easily as described, great user manual to get you started, and many accessories make this close to a complete package.
I have purchased numerous items from Mr. Vac Mrs.Sew. Janome sewing machines, Brother embroidery machines, sewing machine cabinets, Miele Vacuum cleaner. Before I purchase anything I search the website or call the store to find out if they sell it. Joe and Lisa are amazing. They are so patient and answer all of my questions. They have spent so much time in their store and on the phone helping me with my purchases that they feel like friends. This morning I searched the website for a Miele broom vac. I saw they have it so I ran to the store. Joe showed me how it works and I just bought two, one for me and one as a gift. I couldnt wait to take it out of the box. This vacuum is awesome. It is so powerful yet lightweight and just what I was looking for. I love Mr. Vac and Mrs Sew and recommend them to everyone.

Was very disappointed upon my visit today. They would not even look at my machine since I did not purchase it from them. Went to another store that not only looked at it but cleaned it for free. They wanted $150 for a cleaning but refused to do any other service to it. Will never return or recommend. Very poor customer service. Should not advertise that its a service center it they only service whats bought from them. And sadly Ive bought many supplies from them, wont do that anymore either.
CAREFUL when you buy from Mr Vac and Mrs Sew via Amazon, they ship US products overseas via Amazon not stating important technical details and when the unit (Blendtec Pro 800) almost burns they hide behind generalizations and this was via Amazon, there is no warranty....

Do not order from this company. I ordered a gift for my wife and 5 days before Christmas I get an e-mail that they canceled my order because my billing address and shipping address were different. When I called they gave me nothing but attitude and then I asked if I could get it by Christmas still and they just replied NO. TRUST ME THEY ARE RUDE AND COULD OF CARED LESS ABOUT THE BIND THEY PUT ME IN.

And I dont know where I would be without the constant advice, up-grades and encouragement from the incredibly knowledgable people who own this store.I can also find all of my embroidery needs there....stabilizers, threads, and pre-filled bobbins.I am so grateful that I have this store to depend upon and have recommended them to every one of my sewing buddies I know !!
