Came in for a simple haircut and the kid buzzed my entire head. They have $12 advertised and charged $17 for the worst haircut of my life. Do yourself a favor and stay far far away.

One of my best haircuts came from Sonny! I traveled to Melville for work and needed a reliable and quick place for a haircut. Was a bit inundated with the amount of options on Route 110, took a gamble on Alex’s Barber Shop and was 100% satisfied. Sonny knew exactly what type of cut I wanted and at $14 for a men’s cut this is, without question, a great option for anyone looking for a great value.

Ive been going here monthly for over ten years and I have never had a bad haircut. This is a straight forward old school barber shop...NOT a bearded hipster hangout. I wash my hair before I go there and in 15 minutes Im out...no fuss no muss. I love this place.

Top notch barbershop. Alex is the master but Sonny and Monica and the other guys do a great job as well. Have been going here since I was a teenager, about 20 years. When Alex cuts the kids hair he asks them if he should make it shorter or make it longer. Funny guy.

Cozy little barbershop. Inexpensive, nice people. Russian Jews from Forest Hills. All very sweet and nice, English is great. They have a big local client base, and do boys haircuts also. Every mans haircut includes shaving of back of neck with hot shaving cream and old fashioned blade.

Was in town for a wedding. Stopped in and Alex saw me right away and took care of everything. Nothing beats an old school barber. Alex is truly a master of his craft!

Ive been coming here for almost 8 years now, for every haircut. I lived in NJ for 3 of those years and would wait for weekends that I was back on LI to get a cut. Great prices and very friendly, its definitely has that neighborhood feel to it. Also, most of the barbers tend to stay a while, so you can get your fade done by the same person each time - which is really nice IMHO.

Ive gotten great haircuts here. I dont want this to sound racist, but I dont know everyones names. The latin lady, the asian guy, and the guy with the yamaka are all very good. Ive never gotten a bad haircut here. Everyone is very nice and the price is very fair. Def a hidden gem.

Best haircut in the tristate area! from the minute you walk in to the minute you walk out, you are being treated like family. The hot towel shaves is the cherry on top. definitely check this place out . an ample amount of parking in the lot.

Alex has been cutting my hair for over 10 years. I go to the other barbers if he is out. All of them accomplished in their own rights. I wish I had more hair but they cant help me there.
