I needed my air filter changed for my 2016 Kia, Jacob changed my air filter with no problem. Staff is very friendly, attentive, definitely recommend working with this crew. Will return for additional repair work.

We brought our truck here to be serviced. After we dropped it off we called in the evening no answer so we went in person & were told they need another day. The following day we kept calling and no answer. So we went in person and still no info available - no work done etc. So 2 days of no communication or work. So we just went and left with our vehicle to find a place with better communication.

I have been to F&M auto twice, and I have had the best service, best value each time. They are fast, professional, honest. I work a few buildings down from them for 12 years, and they have been a long-standing, reputable business in the Melrose Park community the whole time Ive been there. First time they gave me a new catalytic converter on my Honda Civic for hundreds of dollars less than I was quoted elsewhere. Second time they simply re-afixed my splash guard after the big snow in Feb 2021 pulled it half-way off. They did it NO CHARGE. They didnt have to, but they are honest people. This is now my go to place.

It was a bad idea to go to F & W Auto Repair for a repair service of my car, when arriving at the workshop there is a sign that says at the door HUNK TO OPEN . So I HUNK two or three times until finally someone opened a door next to the garage entrance he looked at me and ignored me. Then I went down and enter through the door that the man had opened and was the entrance to the small shop office and asked if it was closed or open and the person who was sitting to the computer said it was open. Then ask him that i wanted to know how much does it cost an alternator changed and he told me to wait at the same time the same man who open the door before entered to the small office and i said... This man before opened the door and did not say anything I thought you guys were closed, what a bad customer service !. Then then the person who was at the computer said ... if you think it is a bad service then go to another workshop then. Without saying anything else than OK and left the place.I believe that a business should treat a potential customer who arrives with a need for the service of his car. First time I visit the place and without a doubt I will not return because I will always look for a better treat for me and a great service for my car. DO NOT GO TO F & M AUTO REPAIR AT THE 22ND AVE MELROSE PARK BECAUSE THEY HAVE MANY CLIENTS AND YOU WILL NOT BE TREATED AND SERVED AS YOU DESERVE.
