I started a process to build a home with Maronda Homes. The sales Rep told me that communication is key and if by any chance something comes up and I wasn’t able to build the home anymore it’s no problem. Unfortunately, my family dynamic changed and my husband was without a job. I told the Rep as soon I know so I wouldn’t waste any more time and to make sure the process of building the house hasn’t started. I did already deposit 2,500 dollars. They refused to give me my deposit. They didn’t even start building the house and but they still refuse to give me back the deposit. The Rep then told me that she never said such a thing. They cannot be trusted. I will never do business with them. If I could give them zero stars I would. I lost 2,500 dollars.
Eduardo Lopes is THE BEST agent ever if you are purchasing a home from the northeast to Florida during a pandemic. We were extremely uneasy purchasing our new home via the internet, but Ed made it not only easy, but not as stressful and actually pleasurable. When we had questions, he answered promptly. He sent regular updates, photos and videos. If we were in town he made time for us. Truly a remarkable customer service representative for this company. Dawn our closing coordinator was friendly and efficient. Justin, our project supervisor and his assistant were wonderful during our walkthrough. Finally, our home upon completion is beautiful. Thank you everyone!
We have been in our house for less than two weeks and we are already having major issues with our new home. Do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money on used home. The quality fit and finish is terrible. Our yard is full of weeds and dead grass. They use nothing but the cheapest materials and products. Its very unfortunate this has happened to us but I guess its pretty typical in this day and age to get a sub-par product at a great expense. We hope that Maronda will fix these issues but Im not holding my breath in fear of asphyxiation. Sigh.....
We recently built with Maronda Homes, unfortunately. We have built with 3 different builders throughout the years, and Maronda is the WORST. Our home has the cheapest materials (cabinets, carpet, countertops, paint done by a cleaning company...) And we paid for the gourmet kitchen and it was as plain as a spec home. The granite has golf ball size chips on the top, all over. They have yet to remedy any of it. Our lawn and palm trees were dead when we moved in and still not replaced. The countertops still sit with huge chunks they offered to “fill with clear super glue.” Our second story was only painted on the front, the sides don’t match. You can’t get ahold of anyone at the local or corporate offices. The superintendent and sales people are hands down the rudest I have worked with, and I sell homes for a living! There are so many similar complaints on our neighborhood page; their quality and customer service is the worst you will find. Do NOT buy a Maronda Home....you will regret it.
My husband and I had the best experience with Stephanie Snavely. Stephanie takes her time with her customers and makes sure your experience is fun and stress free.
Dawn Bailey & Melinda Gorenflo were amazing. We had a rough closing on our old home which snowballed into delaying our new home. Not once did either of them miss a beat and reassured myself and my husband that we would be taken care of. We are having some minor issues after move in but Maronda has a service portal to take care of those things.Thank you again for helping us!
Great looking homesWell built
First off, let me start by saying Brooke Warner was a great to work with. She always kept us up to date on the process of our build and anything that went wrong. The whole initial experience before we moved in was great. After we closed and moved in, our master shower got clogged by GLUE and wouldnt run hot water. Also, we noticed more things around the house that we didnt in our final inspection such as the corners of the walls cracking, the sliding glass door gets stuck on screws that are popping up from the track, the shower in the bedroom that required us to install a door/curtain, wasnt measured correctly by our builder either. I get that things happen after the homeowner moves in, and we have a year warranty to fix that, but get better contractors. We shouldnt have an issue with our NEW home within the first 2 weeks of living there. It shouldnt take several attempts of scheduling a service with the provided companies to come out and fix things. We dont take time off work for them to NOT show up!Otherwise, we love our home. :)
Stopped into a new model home in Canaveral Groves recently just to look. I asked the attendant if there was an option for solar or if I could opt for a roof that would be much better for solar. He said No and quickly changed the subject. Come on, Maronda. Get with the times. You cant keep building homes with roofs containing many different small planes and facets with odd angular edges that are very non-conducive to adding solar in the future... unless you dont care about clean energy or your customers future options for saving money. Im still amazed the state or Federal govt hasnt mandated that every new house must at least have the option.
Had a good experience with this sales team. Home design was good .but had so many problems with the home . Had more visitors from repairmen than family. House was torn apart and put back together. Miranda stand behind their product. But obviously there is a lot to be desired in their quality assurance because this house was total trash until we sold it.
Food was great!! Service great!! Coffee was a little off---
The house we bought from this company is junk. Dry wall joints are falling in, cracking. Stucco falling off in places. We have had problems with everything. Very cheaply built. Whatever it takes to put a extra dollar in the builders pockets. Also David has recently took over our hoa that we were not even suspose to have according to our realitor, he raised the dues and to maintain all his rental propertys he has in the neighborhood. When we confronted him about this he told us to be quit and pay or he was going to call the law. Also telling us it was his money and no one will tell him what to do with his money. Scream and yelled at my wife in the model home with my 7 month old present. I could go on and on, on the way he has donr us wrong but we are currently selling our home after dealing with this experience. I will not live in a hoa ran by this A hole.
