Master Choe is a great instructor, both kind and stern at the same time, I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn the martial arts from a very knowledgeable master. And I would recommend it for children and adults. I am 64 and feeling younger all the time.

I have known Master Choe many years. He is very honorable, reliable, passionate master. I am very lucky to have him as friend. If you are looking for martial arts school, this is the one.

I went to Choes Martial Arts for the adult classes for a few months and my experience was not as great as other reviewers. I would not recommend it to young professionals looking for an amateur taekwondo training as here its more family and kids place where kids classes get the all attention. There were several issues with the adult classes:1. First of all, there was no enough taekwondo training, it was more about yoga, stretching, forms, fitness and sparring without getting proper training. Moreover, the master was encouraging black belt kids to kick my head at the sparring and one of them was kicking really hard. I mean I am a green belt and first you need to teach how to protect from those head-kicks, plus its not a good matchup for the sparring, I wouldnt kick the kids head. In general I think kids shouldnt spar in adult classes. If you decide to go there JUST SKIP THE SPARRING DAYS!2. 7 pm classes were starting at a random time in between 6:55 - 7:30 pm, not that good for busy people. Also the duration of the class was less than an hour, sometimes being 45 minutes.3. Multiple missed classes by the master with no replacement. I think there were many black belts who could replace him so students dont miss the training. Its unfair to people who pay a monthly fee.4. The master was paying more attention when it was the time to pay the fee, and after that was caring much less. I prefer training with a master who enjoys teaching not mostly because of the money.I reduced 4 stars for the above mentioned reasons.

Master Choe is an exceptional teacher! Our 4-year-old son has been with him since 2012 and enthusiastically attends his Tiny Tots program. Our son focuses more and is more confident. He loves and respects Master Choe, and so do we. We could never imagine a better teacher for our son and were looking forward to enrolling our youngest (currently 2) when he is old enough. If you want somebody who is passionate about what he does, is absolutely amazing and patient with children and others, and has a special way of helping and encouraging others, youve got to go to Master Choe! Youll find nobody better at or more enthusiastic about Martial Arts! Hes amazing!!

I first reviewed this school as very good because I dont like to say anythings perfect, but given that Ive seen other reviewers rank places as excellent when I know Choes Martial Arts is better, Ive upped my rank to excellent.Our whole family has trained all the way from white belt to black belt under Master Choe. He is an excellent teacher, really knows his stuff, and knows how to work with different age groups and their differing physical abilities and needs. He is concerned to build overall fitness, including flexibility and both cardiovascular and muscular strength. He has the best sparring program in the county. And he charges very fair prices. Its real clear that hes in this for the love of teaching the art and not because he wants to make money. If youre looking for a good martial arts school where you get your moneys worth, plan to shop around the different options and definitely put this school on your list. When you compare what the schools offer (who does the actual training and their qualifications, how their students fare in competitions at least at state level, how much they charge and how willing they are to be upfront about financial policies, etc.) youll see that this is one of the best, if not the best martial arts school value in all of Brevard County. The one limitation I see here is that because Master Choe does all the teaching himself and doesnt have time to attend to some of the other details, the school doesnt have as sophisticated of an operation as some other schools do. But thats a very small issue compared to the quality of what you get here.
