If I could give this company 0 stars I would. They send our calls directly to the call center. I called to schedule a service we both agreed on a date, they charged me and then said the date was set to have my tvs installed. I moved things around to accommodate our scheduled date, then they call the day before while I am at work and leave a voice mail to reschedule a week later. They did this to us 3 times. They are always rescheduling on people and dont stick to what you agree to AFTER they make you pay for service. You are better off hiring a local guy off craigslist. In addition to their lack of quality service, their customer support is the worst. They have to speak to someone half way across the world that barely speaks English. Terrible company.
Just transferred some data from a drive I thought was unbootable and I could not get recognized on my SATA. $100

1 1/2 year old Samsung 55 QLED TV goes black screen in the living room. Called Geek Squad to honor my extended warranty. Nice woman said they are very busy but set appointment two weeks out (June 12 2021). Also said they will mail parts ahead of time, dont open or install anything, no problem. Parts came in.Saturday June 12 appt. 7am to 1pm. Sat home all day, no show no call. I cancelled dinner plans with family in case the tech was running late. Website displayed the correct appt info and showed (progress bar) the tech was in route.No show. Moved TV from bedroom to living room, injured my knee in the process. Meniscus tear I think.Next day called Geek Squad, Jessie said he could see appt. was for yesterday but there was no tech assigned, everything went dead in the water, somebody dropped the ball somewhere.Got passed around to their 3rd party tech provider, they showed nothing in their system. Got sent back to Geek Sq. Mary said all she can do is reschedule, got to wait now until June 22.There goes Fathers Day here. Well see if they show up.Shaking my head, what is so difficult about scheduling a repairman to respond in a reasonable time, to repair you extended warranty TV that you paid extra for? Dont answer that, its been my usual experience for a lifetime. Unfortunately I brought my Apple computer there and they said to take it to Apple directly cuz it would take longer if I brought it to them 4 to 6 weeks.. well I appreciate their honesty I do business with Best Buy for their customer care.. I guess when youre buying an Apple you should just go to the Apple Store directly

Poorly organized. Young lady who worked there on 26 Nov 2020 ~1930 was rude, ignorant and incompetent.
They did a great job of putting in radio, I thought it would take them three hours or so, Giovanni Alvarez took an hour and 45 minutes called me boom jeep was Done, sounds great better than the radio that was in it before gave him a tip and I was on my way, thanks Geek Squad, but some people are in too much of a hurry and theres always different opinions out there good days and bad days they just go together
They DONT REPAIR TVs. They send them out. There is a size limit-max 40. You HAVE to make an appointment to have THEM send it out for you. It has to have been bought at Best Buy. It has to have an active warranty. NONE of this is on their website!

I will never go back here . made an appointment to get my iphone 11 battery replaced i drove 45 MINUTES. to be told they don’t have a battery for my phone in stock. WHY make an appointment and have someone come if you don’t have it in STOCK why not ORDER the battery you have your CUSTOMERS coming for. i wish i could put negative stars because this place is the worst.
Very good service in your Melbourne store by Mohamed. He was extremely helpful in solving the problem with my apple laptop. He took his time and explained what he was doing so I could understand. I would go back if I ever had a problem again.
I only had a question about my phone that i had just gotten two weeks ago cause it was freezing up on me. I asked the guy there if i needed to go though the manufacturer cause i didnt have it but for two weeks and i knew it had a year warranty on it or do i have to go though them, the guy said that i had to make a appointment lol make a appointment to answer a simple question. So i go over to best buys customer services desk and was able to have my question answered and was able to find out what the problem was. THANK YOU BEST BUY CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Went in for a simple screen repair and they messed up the logic board. They were going to apparently overnight ship a new phone and 3 days later Im desperately trying to reach geek squad at the phone that they wont answer. Dont come here to fix your apple products. Go to an actual apple store.

This place is the worst. I wasted 2 hours to get my phone sent out to apple just for the little guy at the front desk can tell me there’s nothing he can do. He did the same thing to the people in front of me and I know this because I was waiting right behind her. For about 40 minutes before he told her he was wasting her time. I’m not blaming the young man at all . I’m blaming the limited power these guys have to actually help customers that set an appointment to come drop off an iphone 7 to be shipped out for repair and end up wasting 2 hours for no reason.... this place is a joke and will definitely not be wasting my time anymore.
I bought a Galaxy S8 plus from the Best Buy Store specificly because I was told at the best buy mobile store that the Geek Squad warrenty was an upfront cost without a deductible. Now I go to use it to fix a cracked screen and on top of the nearly $200 I spent up front I need to pay a $200 additional deductible. Congratulations Best Buy your deceptive employee just lost you all my further business which includes what would have been about 10k in home theater gear I was planning for my birthday this month. Its a shame because supporting a store Ive been buying from for years was the only think keeping me from getting my electronics from Prime.
Geek Squad is useless and complete waste of time for Apple appointments anyway. Had an appointment, came in early, 10 min for device evaluation wait turned into 1 hour wait just to tell me device had to be sent into apple anyway. Poor service with little to no updates during this 1 hour wait. I will also add they said I could not leave during this waiting period. Called and spent 20 minutes and 3 transfers to speak with store manager about this issue which seemed to not care.
I took my iPhone 6s phone into this Authorized Apple service center because the battery died; it wouldnt charge at all, and when I ran it with the power plugged in, it would get so hot it would nearly burn my hand.The battery was almost three years old and I used it A LOT for the last 2 years. Of course the battery was dead.They refused to replace the battery unless I sent the phone into Apple for a $300 diagnostic beforehand. (Why do they advertise a $30 replacement when the hidden cost is a $300 diagnostic?)I went to the unauthorized place instead and had the battery replaced for $55.00 in 20 minutes while I sat there. The phone works fine and charges just fine now.

I had a computer crash and needed to backup my data and then purchase a new laptop so I was sold a Geek Squad plan in case it happened again. New laptop crashes and I need data backup exactly like the previous time except I then get told that my plan doesnt cover data backup and having my data backed up is $100. Why on earth would I be sold that plan if it didnt even cover what happened to my last computer? Never going back to Geek Squad for anything and definitely not paying them to do my data backup.

I paid another tech service $279 for a year. (APEX Solutions) They took over my computer remotely and had no clue what they were doing (I was unable to print). They spent an hour doing everything BUT fixing the problem. I kicked them off my computer and called the Geek Squad. Jen came online remotely and immediately fixed the problem. Shes a goddess.

I took in a laptop, knowing what the problem was, but just needing them to do the work and replace the hard drive! Teenager behind the counter insisted they still had to charge me to diagnose the problem, even though I already knew what the problem was! Then it took them THREE weeks to get it back to me! Unreasonable, overpriced and undertrained! Get your work done somewhere else!
Do not use the geek squad they charge charge you $35 for a diagnostic on your computer which they fail to perform and then they just shotgun the problem basically bay for a dart at the wall and see what it hits they did that to me they wanted to charge me $300 for motherboard for my computer when the fix was less than $100 my computer needed a power supply some cable and a couple fans to fix the problem doesnt even equal $300 stay away run away if youre thinking about using them and if you dropped off your computer make damn sure that they do a diagnostic because they are thieves they will steal your money and they give you no help
