If you want to pay rent without any sort of fees you have to pay by check, which wouldnt be an issue if ANYONE WAS EVER THERE. I work 8-5 and get home at 5:30 and Im constantly having to go over ever 5 minutes to see if anyone is there so I can pay rent. They used to be open on weekends which was useful, but now they just extended their hours. The pool is almost never clean, no playground for kids as it got torn down, but at least we have the tennis courts.
I love living here. I lived in the 1 beds in 2017 and moved away to get a bigger place but ended up coming back for a 2 bed in 2020. The grounds are clean, maintenance is kind and gets things done & the new office staff (Kim & new manager) are way nicer than other staff that has previously been here. I also loved Lindsay and Tia but they moved over to the Savannah’s I think which is our sister property.Kim was so kind to me today and I appreciate her!
If you don’t care about being valued, or general safety than this might be perfect for you. I had consistent work orders get closed without ever being addressed consisting of my ac and major appliances breaking and then getting straight up lied to by “management”. This is the WORST property and property management in the area.
I worked at the Veridian, unfortunately i was let go on friday, “for the better of the company”. i was employed for a month and a half, but i wasn’t properly trained even with the simple basics of leasing and for multiple weeks, i was left entirely by myself to run the property. i had multiple questions about leasing, which my questions weren’t answered and left to figure it out myself. so i highly, don’t suggest. ever working for this property or the sister property, the Savannah’s at James Landing.now why i feel like no one should move here, i currently live at the sister company, and i’ve had issues from the moment i moved in, in may and they’ve never been resolved or really addressed. maintenance nor the office really cares about concerns, even if it’s an emergency. tho the property itself may have its very problematic issues, sometimes it’s not even the management itself. upper management, WestShore, don’t really care about residents or even employee issues.
If you like being lied to and then having collections sent after you with no phone calls or emails from Veridian Townhomes then this is the place for you. After paying off everything I owed and not getting back my deposit for unknown reasons I now have collections asking me for more money with no reason as to why
Westshore LLC management owns & manages this property Since Westshore took over they cannot keep a manager or leasing agent Never reply or follow up calls or requests Property is now rundown & an eyesore due to cut backs in landscaping & maintenance costs Rents, fees increased & new fees added Tenants forced to pay $41 per month for trash removal Dumpster areas are always filthy & unsanitary! I have a leaking HVAC unit inside that is flooding my apartment for 3 days and NO ONE has responded!
Only gave one star because I had to. Extremely unprofessional and unresponsive. We moved out almost a year ago and are now getting a bill from a debt collector saying we owe $200, never got a security deposit back because they switched management and nobody knew anything about it. When we moved out comments were made about how clean we left the apartment and now they want to send a bill with no previous communication at all about why we owe this money. Also, my husband and I got separate bills owing money? How about an email or phone call to let us know why we owe this money and what for. Not a bill from a collector almost a year later when I’m pretty sure we already discussed this when we moved out and they said they would clear it up.
I move out of the complex in less than two months and it can not come quick enough. Horrible maintenance team, not a single consistent leasing agent or manager has stayed in office, my move in paper work was lost, every month with my rent something always goes wrong and I end up with multiple late fees, and multiple parts of of apartment was broken and they still havent fixed the issues, I waited three months for them to install my microwave/ exhaust fan above my stove, my dining room light is just a hanging rin with the light bulbs just dangling, all issue Ive let the office and maintaince team know, the maintenance team doesnt like to come into my apartment because they dont like dogs. Seriously dont move here its not worth it.
Look elsewhere. The pictures DO NOT match what you get on site. The tennis courts are in shambles, the gym can only be accessed during office hours because the card reader has been broken for months, the pool is so disgusting at times it looks like a science experiment, I have had issues with maintenance requests taking forever and unauthorized entry into the apartment without prior notice. Look around the web for other reviews and pay particular attention to those mentioning problems with maintenance requests. My issues are similar.
They will pester you until you apply and pay the application fee and then they become totally unresponsive. They don’t answer their phones or reply to emails. Very unprofessional as other reviews have noted. Seems almost like a scam.
I’ve lived a lot of places and this is by far the best complex you can get into. The leasing agents are very friendly. Tia is the reason why I picked this place. She made it really easy, efficient and just a great experience. She remembers your name and will check up on you as you. The grounds are clean, well maintained and all around a great environment. 10/10
I needed to find a rental quickly and paid the $260 application fee online in order to expedite the process. I got a call from Veridian trying to get me to pay a deposit and when I asked to see the property I was told they couldnt show me a unit. I read a lot of previous reviews saying what was shown in the pictures didnt represent the apartments so I wasnt comfortable paying a deposit without seeing an apartment. After multiple calls I was still told they didnt have an apartment to show me even though they have signs outside saying stop in for a tour today. I have been trying to get a refund from them since September for an application that was never processed with no response. Do not rent from them.
Wouldn’t waste time, called about townhome was told to send picture of my pet never heard back, won’t answer calls. Office team is just nasty people.
Avoid at all costs. This used to be a decent place for the price, but they changed management last year and there has been a steep decline. They removed all of the prior front office and maintenance staff, who were wonderful, and replaced them with a revolving crew of unprofessional and ill informed workers.They will find any way to get money from you. You will never receive your deposit. As other reviews state, repairs are a nightmare and usually blamed on something else that isn’t “their responsibility.” We moved out months ago and just received a bill threatening collections to a third party website with erroneous charges - this is the first we’ve heard of it. Our balance was $0 when we left. You will regret living here.
We moved in about 4 month ago we really love this place the ladies at the office are always very sweet and helpful, Im so happy with the new maintenance crew Harold and Peter they are awesome.
My third year and I really enjoy my unit. In my case problems are taken care of in a timely fashion. Office staff are friendly, and other people speak as I take my walk.

But, all in all everything was taken care of and this has been a very nice place to live... Id recommend it!
Caution: Please look elsewhere for housing.We lived at the Veridian Townhomes for 3 years and were extremely happy with our living situation.. until the last year when they changed management. The management is extremely unprofessional and dishonest in all aspects. I would not recommend this place to anyone.Our AC unit broke several times and each time someone would look at it and say it was fine, as the temperature was 87 degrees and the thermostat was set to 68 degrees for days. We went an entire week in July with no AC. After several requests they did supply us with a temporary unit for the bedroom, which shut off up to 10 times a night and would require you to get up and empty the water out of it. After about a week of the temporary AC, they did replace our unit.Our water heater also leaked for MONTHS because it was installed incorrectly and was exposed to electricity and it took several visits for them to replace it. Our water bill was through the roof!The trash is always overflowing and smells awful throughout the entire property. The list goes on and on.We have since moved out (thankfully) and yet they are continuing to have us pay to replace the carpets and cleaning fees, and tried to give us a fee for moving out without notice (even though we did give notice). It’s unfortunate how downhill the place has gone.

Had a horrible 7 months living in this place. Between their admin side and their accounting dept. they never knew what was going on and they were always blaming each other for errors in how much I owed them or how much they owed me. From day 1 we went to go pick up the keys and they said we didnt pay any deposits or required rent due beforehand. I argued that I did and they made a bunch of calls and couldnt find it anywhere. Luckily I saved the email confirmation showing I paid and exactly how much I paid (or else I wouldnt have received the keys and would have been SOL). After this giant mess the front desk lady told us we over paid and would have a credit for something around $50-$60. Two months down the road the story changed as that lady didnt work there anymore and now we owed them $50-$60.One month their auto pay system had a glitch and didnt charge my account like it had that previous 5 months and they said I was late and charged me a fee. I argued with them because I received an email the day prior to rent being due that they had sent to me stating that their system would be charging my bank account the next day as usual and it never did.Jumping ship! Finally our lease was up and we were ready to go! This was not an easy process either. Neither of the ladies in the front office knew what paperwork was needed (one of them was new). Had to wait around for them to figure it out, in the mean time I covered my end and typed up a memo stating I was not going to renew my lease and when I would be leaving. Move out day comes and they asked if we got the carpet cleaned professionally and we declined and they said they would charge $50 from our deposit and send us the rest via check. Weve been gone for roughly 4 months now and havent heard anything from them. They also left a note on my door one day stating we had to lock our dog up from 7am till 5pm the next day because an investor was coming through at some point through the day. They wanted my dog locked up for 10 hours because somebody wanted to check out the place real quick and that it was mandatory. Needless to say put the locking latch up and refused to lock the dog up. They gave us this notice at 6pm the night before the walk through.Their apartments are not what you see in the pictures. They charge you more and more and just throw out random reasons as to why.Parking!! Parking was a joke as well. During move in when we received our keys they were suppose to give us a decal but never did. We never knew anything about it we walked out one morning with stickers on both of our cars saying they would be towed away if they remained their again that night.During the first month the A/C flooded the entire kitchen and it took a while for them to come out and fix it. The roof leaked in our bedroom for months after the hurricane and after numerous complaints from us and other residents they finally replaced the roof but never fixed the ceiling or carpet stains.Talk about a nightmare of a place. I have lived in many different apartment and town home complexes and I understand the rules and how it works but this place was by the worst and most deceiving! Go anywhere else but this place.
Nice kitchens with granite countertops, stainless appliances, perfect floorplans - townhomes with plenty of outdoor space for my dogs. Very quiet and convenient.
1100$-1300 a month...2019 update! Ima review type person but everyone perspective may be different.Started out Good great place in all honesty, but over the couple months there are pro’s & con’sLately the water heaters in the Apartments have been going bad. The pans underneath may be cracked also because ours was cracked & still is after the new heater install 🤦🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️ Had multiple situations within the last month 3 minimum causing lots of damage to some homes ( please check them ) The seals maybe old who knows but it should be looked intoAlso if you’re a car lover, brand new car, don’t want your paint messed up this isn’t the place to live. I say this because the tree’s hangs past the side walk into the parking spaces which squirrels like to Bomb cars with acorns sound like gunshots.. The lawn care does come but it doesn’t justify the damage caused to your property since they haven’t cut the branches from being too long. This may Not be a problem to you but personally I don’t want to pay or people to pay knowing this is a common issue! So some tree service would help Forsure!1/23/19
I moved to the area from out of state on November 1st into Veridian Townhomes in Melbourne. I am here to say if you are not able to tour apartments and are moving from out of state DO NOT pick these Townhomes. I cry everyday knowing that I am stuck in a lease with these crooks. In the pictures on their website everything looks amazing but after moving in my townhouse, it was a disaster. They have fixed a lot of the things I have asked them to fix but these Townhomes are beyond repairable, especially for the price. Everyday I wake up and have to start on a new project to get dirt and grime out of every corner of this townhouse! Save your money and go somewhere else trust me!
DO NOT LIVE HERE. Moved in with zero experience with what a water bill might look like. Three months into paying over 200$ a month, my mom sees my bill and questions it. I call city, they find huge leak with a toilet running. Took maintenance over a month to fix and they did not pay us back for the 200$ we would pay over each month. Bill went down to 44 a month. Showed mary kay at the office and she said you should be able to tell the differnece, thats not my probelm? What?. She really is horrible with people and should not work here. Mary kay also likes to play hide and seek from the tenants, causing unnecessary inconvenience. For example, one saturday, we saw her car in the lot and were trying to pay rent before a trip. She was not in the office, all lights off, and no one answering the phones. When confronted, she said she was only out of the office for half an hour. So was she hiding under her desk? What a joke. AGAIN I SAY DO NOT LIVE HERE. We were told by Lisa, your fence is going to look just like the ones up front. The fences were all a nice white, with a small space for landscaping workers to enter. Ours was much different, rickety old wood, rotted and falling apart. They only replaced the sides with white new and left the back of the fence falling apart. Liars.Three months after being told we would have this replaced, we call lisa at the office where she says taht theybare only replacimg fences that duture customers can see. WHAT.THE.HELL. So we pay the same amount in rent, for a yard that looks nothing like the ones online? B.s. Lastly, they are very lucky we are willing to accept a LATE SECURIRY REFUND. The 30 day policy they have in place is not functional, as, we were supposed to revieve a check by the 23rd of April, and did not recieve until may 8th. DO NOT MOVE HERE. Veridian, do not reply to this review wirh more lies trying to cover up the terrible service you have provided I am happily done wuth you pepple and hopefully can save hundreds more from coming to these experiences.

I moved in May 2016. At the time of moving in everything seemed nice. Unfortunately the happy feeling you get when you move in to a new place quickly went away. The maintenance staff refused to fix my sliding door when I first moved in saying, Oh there all like that and didnt fix it until a YEAR AND A HALF LATER after I made a huge fuss and wouldnt you know even the new maintenance person was like Yeah, its not supposed to be like that...When I moved in one of the maintenance personnel told me they would be back to clean my HVAC system but that was over a year ago and I dont think he works here anymore.Meanwhile, during my time here Ive had to deal with a larger than desired quantity of ants, spiders and snakes entering my home. They sent pest control to deal with the spiders and ants but all that dude did was put glue in my kitchen - which is still there 6 months later, and so are the ants.Now on to the big big big frustrations with these people.My front door has a 4 inch gap in the bottom between the actual door itself and the frame. They said they would fix this back in November of 2017, its now February 6th, 2018 and my front door still has this gap which does nothing to prevent the cooler temperatures from seeping in to my apartment.Furthermore, the management keeps making decisions that are costing the complex money but provide no benefit to the residents... a front door welcome mat that soaks up water and dirt to help you bring it in to your home, a white vinyl fence on a southern facing wall to heat up your apartment (yeah, expect to have higher than desired power bills if you get a single bedroom - youll be running the AC all the time), laundry machines that are too small for a weeks worth of laundry, the laundry dryers are big but even on the highest heat dont fully dry a weeks worth of clothing AND they upgraded these machines to machines of the same size but now we have pay 75 cents extra per load AND we have to go to the front office to prepay by putting money on a card instead of simply putting quarters in to the machines. No one asked for any of this - the washers and dryers were fine, small, but fine. Id rather go to get quarters for laundry than deal with the people in the front office.In addition to all of this frustration, when you go to talk to the people in the front office they put on a happy little smile, tell you someone will call you about your issue and slowly walk/push you to the door as if to say, Get out. We dont care. Needless to say no one ever calls and this behavior makes it frustrating to go to the front office.I truly feel that there is no single individual working at this property that takes pride in the property itself. To them its just a job and they just gotta do what they gotta do. By, Do what they gotta do, I mean the bare minimum as requested by their parent company.
Overall, a good quiet property located ten minutes or so from the beach. I had quite a bit of mold issues in my master at least twice(once from a hurricane, and the second by shoddy roofing work), constant A/C leaking problems, I hope other tenants had experiences better than mine, but nothing that wasnt eventually and slowly handled by a property manager who tries to diminish the serevity of your issues. Location is great, maintanence is better than most properties. Never seen so many bank inspections, I was personally there for about 6-8 just in my first year here. Lots of short notices for moving your parked car for roofing work(specifically when I was out of town and recieved notice less than 24 hours prior) or about crating my dog for an apartment visitor. This office likes to waste paper reprinting all the documents they send out with wrong information, my move out checklist was ridiculous and was told it wasnt completely accurate. This property has a decent pool, two dumpsters, on site laundry facilities, tennis court, and a small gym. This community has had lots of complaints reguarding parking so good luck trying to find a spot. Office has had a lack of communication especially when it came to the last asst property manager who never relayed important information like she was supposed to. I also had my carpets professionally cleaned before moving out and never recieved any of my deposit back for this newly renovated property.Suggestions for property:Assigned parking per apartment numbersDog waste stations/dog park like waveryly apartments next doorDont run the sprinklers during the middle of the day/when people leave for work
Terrible experience! lots of indoor ants! A/C is way too loud! hot water only last limited time when in the shower which I reported many times, didnt fix it. People there are not helpful at all! When I got my mailbox key from them, I found out key wasnt working for my mailbox; I reported to them and what they told me was asking me to contact USPS by myself to get the right key! And you will never get your deposit money back, they will find random reasons to take your deposit money! I ve renting in different places, this is the worst renting experience ever!
Great staff, nice homes, but less than stellar lawn care. Even though they changed to a new service recently.
