Just recently moved in, we relocated from Kentucky. I leased this property completely online without seeing first and was pleasantly surprised. This is my first apartment in over 20 years. I love my apartment and the amenities offered here. The front office team have been so nice while entertaining my many questions. The Maintenance team are very quick and efficient. My air conditioning had a small problem and they responded quickly to get situation fixed. Excited to start joining community events offered on-site. The neighborhood was very welcoming. I love to walk around looking at the many ponds. The property is kept up nicely. Overall very pleased thus far.

My family and i moved into long leaf in march we can not be happier than our choice to live here! The apartments are beautiful, the pool, gym, INDOOR BASKETBALL courts are always kept clean and the clubhouse is a cozy place to chill for coffee. Oh, a new added grill to the pool area has been a great addition. It is a perfect 👌 place for families!! Above all that the best part of thia community is the management team. Cassie and staff truly care about there community and it is a warm fuzzy feeling. The community directors who host events monthly jeff and sandy are like everyones parents lol . We look forward to our interactions with neighbours because of them and just adds to the family environment. To the long leaf team you are doing it rite!!!

I have truly enjoyed my time at The Preserve at Longleaf. The apartments are large and updated, and I was lucky enough to get the perfect corner unit facing the preserves! Cassie (who is amazing!) and the leasing office have been nothing but helpful with all of my questions and moving concerns. With the pandemic going on, the apartment community has still been able to provide safe perks for residents, and has kept everyone well informed. I would definitely recommend living here, especially with such a wonderful staff!

I would give this apartment neighborhood a four star rating if the management company wasnt so poor. They are managed by Bell properties and I can assure you they have no care whatsoever for you as tenant, you are only a number to them. They will treat you with kindness and respect when showing the property, working to get you in and throughout the on-boarding process. After this time if you need assistance, be prepared to leave a message because they will not answer your calls. They do not have any desire to talk in person or by phone if they can avoid it. This office has been excellent at hiding behind the Covid crisis and using it on many levels to remove themselves from their obligations to you. We lived there for eleven months and could not get out soon enough. Be very attentive to your lease and how to leave without issues. We were fortunate enough to stay on top of all the requirements months in advance up to our moving date to avoid ridiculous charges many of my neighbors encountered but it takes determination and a lot of work. My last warning is this; be careful about filing out the online Get Ready To Move page they send you. This is a third party company asking you about an abundance of personal information on where you are moving, how you are moving, are you buying or renting, what means are you using to move, and it goes on and on. Once they have this they sell this information to third parties and the calls and emails are almost to the point of harassment. The management company was so lazy they would not email me my final water bill (even after filling out their online form). They thought it would be funny to send it to a collection agency instead of emailing or mailing directly to me. This of course led to several more hours of my time dealing with a company that has no morals. This is a fair to average place to live, but make sure you dot your is and cross your ts with everything you do here or you will pay, just ask any resident walking in the neighborhood. *** Update after their response: The team supposedly tried to send me the final utility bill, this never happened. I have emails back and forth asking for any final expenses and no email shows any balance due. The only email I received about the utility was on the afternoon after receiving the collections letter. I have proof of these emails and documents if needed. They said the final utility bill was taken from my deposit, thats funny because we paid no deposit to move in, due to, my great credit score so they could not take something from nothing. I assure you the Preserve leads you to provide information to a company called UPDATER for a smooth move-out experience I have information on this and my demand cancellation letter if needed as well. Within 48 hours of completing this questionnaire, you will be overwhelmed by the amount of businesses reaching out to you to sell their service. Renter beware. Bell Partners does not have your best interest in mind. Apartments are not bad... rental company not so great!

STAY AWAY!!!I did my application and I did not moved inI would give 0Reasons below:Leasing consultants are not available and do not provide assistant, I will not mentioned the ladys name to preserve her. The intention here is to tell you my experience. The same lady  threatened me about my pet documentation - she asked me to sign new documents that are not required by law and I was not aware since I started my application.I applied to an apartment and requested more locations and options, the same lady mentioned nothing else was availableOne week later several apartments were available for similar conditions but cheaper. She made me apply ASAP for this apartment bc she mentioned the one month for free deal would end in the same day but I received from her an email a few days ago informing the deal would expire in 2 additional days.Of course was not necessary I make my application in the day she pushed me to do it.If you want to move to a serious place, I would not recommend Preserve of Longleaf. Now, I have to negotiate with the leasing team to try to receive my money back or at least a part. They want me to return only the deposit after this situation and the same lady mentioned I got approved for a discount for my application fee that would be discounted in my first month (lease).Good luck for you !

I lived at the Preserve for 14 months for finding a home to buy. It was the nicest apartment complex I could find in the area and it was the only one with immediate move-in availability. The resort-style pool, hot tub, and outdoor pleasure is unmatched in the area, in my opinion. I loved that my daughter and I had a short stroll through the complex to get to school at Longleaf Elementary each morning. Management was alway very sweet and did an excellent job with all of our needs...The mail system is also very cool! Most of the residents here are SUPER sweet and long-term actually. Occasionally there was one or two or created issues but thats everywhere! Management was also fast to handle it. I would absolutely recommend this place and choose it again!

This place used to be great and now as Bell partners as the owners, it has slowly gone down hill everyday. The manager here is extremely rude and condescending and can not keep up with this place. I have complained to corporate and was told Sheena Baker would be getting back to me as she is supposedly the one who over looks this property and never heard a word. I didnt want to have to write a bad review, figured it could of been resolved by now. Maybe this post will get her attention. Was contemplating moving there until my girlfriend’s bad experience. They were very confused and disorganized with their availability and process. After her application fee was paid they then decided to ask for extra legal paper work signed by a doctor for her emotional support animal outside what is legal of the Fair Housing Act. After their misleading of availability and unlawful required paperwork (that would cost roughly an additional $150.00 for Dr. visit) she decided not to move in as did I.

I’ve lived at the Preserve for a year now, and I wish I could give it 6 stars! They are awesome. They have 24/7 maintenance, and the guys are really quick to respond. Same couple of guys each time, and they follow through. The noise level is minimum. The grounds are maintained and beautiful. Packages are delivered to a lock box that you can access at any time to keep your stuff safe. The front office staff is so kind and will take any complaint seriously. A few of my neighbors and myself have severe disabilities, and they are really good about considering your special needs in those cases. In fact, they left the place above us vacant for a long time to meet my noise sensitivity needs. They also have a door to door trash service so if you have mobility issues you don’t have to worry about trash disposal. The houses are cleaner than most. I’ve never seen a bug in my apartment-and it’s Florida haha. The pool, hot tub and gym are well maintained. Since we’ve been here, they’ve replaced our fridge, microwave and washer when they went bad, as soon as we requested it, with no issues. Also note we are young, and they did not give us any issues despite our age-which has been a huge problem at other apartment complexes. 10/10 would recommend living here!

I was contacted by Raul via email, and we scheduled a time for one of his colleagues to give me a call today. Hours passed, and that call never came. I attempted to contact the office several times today, but was unsuccessful getting a hold of anyone.I literally wasted $50 on the application, as I am no longer interested in this property. If you’re apartment hunting like me, it’s best to wait and fill out an application after speaking to someone first. The property looks nice, but by my personal experience with their customer service skills, is the opposite of nice.Good luck on your hunt.

I have lived at several different apartment complexes, and this is definitely my favorite. The grounds are always very clean and well-kept, and tenants are both respectfully quiet and friendly. Trash pickup at your front door is so wonderful - I tend to procrastinate going to the compactor. I’ve only had a couple maintenance issues, and they were promptly taken care of. I’ve never seen ANY bugs around, that’s very important to me when renting. There are always community events going on if you like being neighborly and social! The gym is kept clean and has everything you need to work out. Package lockers protect important deliveries, not that I worry anyway. I absolutely recommend renting here and have been very happy calling this home for the past year!

I am coming up on my first year living at this apartment complex and I can not say enough about the staff, amenities and overall quality of this area. Like many people in FL, I am a transplant (from SC) that moved down here for work. Before I settled on an apartment, I checked out 7 others in the area, but this one had everything that I was looking for: safe/close community, w/d units, nice amenities, friendly/helpful staff (ask for Susan - shes great!) and responsiveness of maintenance. The tenants here range from young professionals to young families - so theres a good mix. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone moving to the area.

For the most part we are very pleased with these apartments. Friendly neighbors, beautiful pool, quiet, great location to a great elementary school. However I do want to warn people to be careful which unit you choose if you are looking to move in here. We are in a 2nd floor 3 bedroom apartment and our electric bills are outrageous - like $250-$280/month in the summer months and our apartment is still very warm especially in the afternoon. We have brought our concerns regarding this to the attention of maintenance and the office but are always told we need to buy room darkening curtains (I do not want to live in a cave) or raise the thermostat (we keep it about 73 most all the time however in the afternoons in this apartment it is usually 75-78 because the a/c unit cannot keep up and cool it). The second time maintenance came to look they said this type of bill is not that uncommon. The company has not yet even had an HVAC company look at our system although I believe the old small rusty unit is the cause of our excessive electric bills especially considering our bill dropped drastically to approx $140 once we had a cooler month were we limited the use of the a/c. The girls I have spoken with in the office are always friendly and helpful with most issues but they have no control over this other than asking maintenance to look again. I was not prepared to have such a large electric bill in addition to the rent we pay to live here. I had thought we would like to stay several years while my son finished elementary school here but I do not think I can afford another summer of electric bills like that.

Lauren, the manager, has been there since the beginning. I dont know how she handles all the calls, emails, and concerns and always is so gracious.I work out every day, and missed two days this week...the staff came to check on me. Amazing! Staff is awesome, maintenance is very fast, the community is well kept, pretty and very friendly. It is kind of expensive but definitely not the most expensive in the area. You definitely get what you pay for. I really do love it here.My only issue is how garbage disposal is handled. The garbage has to be brought to the garbage disposal in the front. The garbage disposal gets completely overfilled about once a week. and to open it you have to put a rope that is really gross to touch.Other than that one issue it is by far the best place I have lived. No garbage problem = 5 stars.

This apartment looks great from the outside but Ive had a bad experience. First of all, there were ants in our apartment from day one. Parking is a nightmare depending on where your apartment is within the complex. They claim to be super pet friendly, but are not at all. Our dog is a very friendly Belgian Malinois that is always quiet and sweet. Someone complained that she looked scary so were now forced out in under a month. Breed discrimination is a huge problem here. On my walks with my scary dog, Ive had a chihuahua and a Pomeranian on two separate occasions be OFF LEASH and running towards me and my dog. My dog sits there while these accepted breeds bark and lunge at her. The small dogs here are nightmares and are supposed to be on leashes at all times. Such a joke. Im usually very easy going and I never write reviews, so please believe me that youre better off looking for somewhere else to live.

I just have to post this everywhere because they were so awesome and so good to residents! I looked for apartments while still in Georgia. No other apartment company gave me the wonderful customer service that Lauren and her staff gave my husband and I. They worked with us and gave us great discounts as new residents. They always made sure that all our work requests were done in a timely manner. I think a good apartment complex makes it so that you dont have to live in the office coming in with complaints and this community is awesome! I can truly say that this is the best place to live in Melbourne, FL. If I didnt have to move for a new job in Orlando, we would still be there. On top of that they even let us stay 3 days past our lease so that we werent practically homeless until our Orlando apartment was ready. This place is worth every penny.

Apartments themselves are nice. Its the same like any other apartment that you can hear your neighbors (I cant hold that against the apartment 100%). The only thing I wished is this was a gated community for the location. This is ideally in the ghetto. I have such an uneasy feeling being in this area despite the apartments themselves being nice. The parking is also an issue, but that is in most complexes again I cant hold that 100% on the complex.Update: unless you close your drains up there will be insects coming up the drain. My toilet for some reason flushes while taking a shower. The office cant figure out why other than this place is older. I am on the first floor if that makes any difference. Im in a 2bd 2bath floor plan. So the master bedroom bathroom you sit and the toliet paper roll is right against your side. Ergonomically this is the worst setup of a bathroom. If you are even slim and I mean petite this might work but if you are athletic/fit/ normal size good luck taking a dump.

The apartments are nice and I love the location. Ive lived here almost a year and its been awesome. My only 3 complaints are the following:1. I hate dealing with Oates energy. They are horrible.2. Alot of newer residents which happens at any apartment complex. But in the last 2 or 3 months with the influx of new residents, there are some who just drop trash in the parking areas and leave it there. No attempt to clean up after themselves!3.The other is a heavier gentleman, who sits on a transformer in front of the buildings with either his shirt wide open or no shirt at all. Honestly it creeps the living hell out of my family!!!

We checked out a few other places but they were sort of shabby. This place reminds me of a lot of communities in South Florida. Lets face it, you get what you pay for. There are other less expensive places but you cant beat the solitude, the spacious apartments and the beautiful view of the Preserve which is like living near Central Park in Manhattan (I grew up in NY). The apartments themselves are really nice also in my opinion. Check it out for yourself and good luck apartment hunting!
