Not sure who to go to about this but wanted to let everyone know that i was about to walk out last night. isabelle saw me pretty upset and immediately asked me how she could help. i told her what i was struggling with and she let me know what an easy fix it was. i saw her training another gurl before me and kinda felt badly as i probably shoulda known it. but she not only guided me through (like didnt do it for me which is exactly how i learn best) it at the end of the night she made sure to ask me if things were better for me work wise and then ended the conversation with “no one gets this their first try give yourself some time. youve got this. youre doing great!” she had a pretty rough night herself so kinda hoping she sees this as shell know exactly what its regarding and deserves to know that had it not been for her i woulda quit right then and there.

As stated in several other reviews, this place does indeed post bogus job listings as an attempt to bring you in so they can extend their own services to you. While the environment might be generally friendly, that kind of misleading practice is just flat out unprofessional. Despite the good attitude, that kind of first experience leaves an impression that wouldnt sit well with any rational person. Seeing how this has been pointed out by others and at least acknowledged by the company here, it seems like no genuine concern is given over that method of bringing in hopeful people.

My first meeting went well, however they had only very low paying jobs at the time. I told Sami I would look around other places and get back to her. Two days later after interviews with other agencies I came back to apply for two open positions they had. I was told they would forward my application to three jobs I was interested in. The tone had changed and they were not pleasant. I have great work history and references. After no word for a week, I called to talk to Sami. This is how that went.May I speak to Sami please?Yes may I ask who is calling?This is BonnieOh..........ummmmmm.........oooookay..........ummmmmmm.........shes on the phone (long pause) I will tell her................to call you.No call back, no idea why.

Hi there my name is wendy I been on and off with Elwood Staffing since November 2014 and they have been understanding and awesome with me. One of the reasons why some people who have gone through them might have had a bad experience is because they apply for the wrong shift I have gone from machine Operator to stitcher to shipper and now I do MRB through them and till this day I am still their employee and continuing to work for them and I get paid every week yes the pay isn’t the greatest but can’t complain when I have money every Friday if you are not a graveyard person do not apply for graveyard please !

They hired me at a set wage and my first check was short by fifty cents an hour. I called and was told they didnt get approval for that amount until a week later, so I was paid less. I said, But you hired me at THAT wage. Sorry. We didnt get approval. And that was the end of that.

Being in the HR field and moving to Oregon, this was the first place I interviewed with hoping they can help me. When I walked in, the gal who greeted me said “what’s your name? You have an appointment?” After I gave her my info she told me to sit down. When I met with her for the job that I was contacted about she informed me it was filled, then went straight to another job that had nothing to do with what I was looking. There were two ladies in the office room who were so unprofessional, the way they talked and managed the phone calls was horrible. So glad I decided to not work for them.
