We had a great experience using Trim Camp. They were as professional as could be. Our final finished amounts were actually higher than in years past using other trim crews, and perfect quality trim. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.
BEWARE… Trim Camp came out to our farm on 10/15/18. Leading up to their arrival, we discussed their minimum charge per day and we were told multiple times that each trimmer could trim up to 2 lbs per day and on average 1.3 lbs per day. This made sense financially and timely to have them trim for us. They assured us (prior to their arrival) that they have never trimmed less than their minimum quota. The trimmers didn’t even come close to their minimums. Over a 5-day period they only trimmed 21.76 lbs. Trim Camp charged us $5120 which comes to a total cost of $235.29 per lb. We understand that every product is different, our flowers were not extremely large or small, but they were dense high-quality flowers and they should have easily met their minimum quota. With previous trim crews we have never had a problem with trimming so little each day. This is not a cost that any company can be charged and be profitable in todays market. The management way overstated their trimmer’s abilities and we got charged for their short comings. Not only that, but they didn’t trim some of our product that was definitely sale worthy. We brought these issues to their attention and they said there was Nothing They Would Do. It’s hard to believe that they could charge anyone $235.29 per lb to trim their product. Also, it took them over 1 ½ weeks before they mailed back our $1,000 deposit check. We are truly writing to look out for our fellow producers. We understand as we are living the same struggle.Good luck!!!BEWARE OF “TRIM CAMP, LLC”Darren Williams, Owner of R&D Northwest.
