So I call the store after having multiple people not be able to fix my sound system and Brian answers the phone and asked me to explain a little bit and then to come by to look at it. After I get here Brian pretty quickly figures out whats going on its a simple faulty wire, and he diligently figured that out and went inside to make up a new connection for me. And this whole time Im thinking I cant believe hes just, you know, helping me out all in all maybe 20-30 minutes. Im ecstatic and I ask well what do I owe you man? He said dont worry about it, which blew me away. Needless to say appreciation was shown, and this single experience has made me decide this is where Im coming to get my next system installed no matter what. Best customer service Ive received from any business anywhere.

Needed to replace a key remote they installed about 14 years ago. They did it within 24 hours from when I went in to find out if it was still available. It was a good deal less expencive than what I thought it could be. Very professional in a laid back kind of way. Answered any question I asked. They had a good deal more after market items than just audio. Definitely check them out.

I had the windows tinted on my new car and it was exactly what I wanted. The 3m window tint was a little more than I thought it would be & a little more than I was told on the phone. When I went in to look at the tint & to schedule it, the person helping me apologized for the mistake. 3m does have a nationwide warranty and Im all for not having to worry about peeling, bubbling or turning purpleover time. I dropped my car off and had it back in the time-frame that was given: no waiting around all day wondering why its taking so long.

I took my 2019 Volvo in for front and rear dash cam install. I did not purchase the cameras from them. I wanted a wiring harness installed for my cameras to have steady power and for aesthetics. I was not confident that I could run the harness through the car without damaging something. I decided it would be worth the cost to have the pros do the install. EA had done some work for me about 16 yrs ago and I was pleased then. So I trusted them to do my install. I had very specific ideas about how I wanted the cameras and harness installed. Brian listened patiently to my specs. The installer did an awesome job. I didnt catch his name. But I would give a personal shout out if I did. The install was just as I requested. Very professional looking job. Except for the new cameras, my car looked exactly like it did when I brought it to them. They maintained the factory look of my interior. The cost was less than I thought it might be considering I didnt purchase the cameras from them. Completely excellent experience.

Edit: Much love to these guys again, theyve taken care of me years ago with a killer 2 12 JL subwoofer system and Alpine speakers. Still after almost 3 years they still remember my big Bumpin Burban.Theyre now again taking care of momma super well, getting her what she needed with customer service that still cant be matched.She went somewhere else after not getting an issue solved only to come back after receiving the WORST customer rservice from Tint World in Midlothian. Came in for window tinting and received a great education on the different types and benefits. Done as expected and on time. Even left a bottle of water and some protective covers on the window switches which I thought was pretty clever. Nice touches...Ill be back with other vehicles.

In the days of poor customer service becoming the norm (covid-scuses), these guys went the opposite direction and were all about the service. I had a slight issue with sound on my microphone, they kept at it that day until it was right. The next day It hit me that I had left my cds in my old equipment, so I took it back to them and asked if there was any way to get them out. No prob, they said. As it turned out, super awesome tech guy had ALREADY taken them out, AND ACTUALLY PUT THEM IN THEIR RESPECTIVE CASES!!!!! I was floored.

This place knows their stuff. Pricey but it will be installed properly and work the way you want it to when theyre done. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I was recommended to Extreme Audio from Best Buy and had a great experience. Brian and his team really did a great job on my Cadillac. They replaced my CUE system and when we had issues and needed to some information from the supplier, Brian was very patient and stuck with the issue till we got an answer and it was resolved. I would highly recommend seeing them.

I came in to buy a wiring harness to install a stereo myself and they set me up with everything I needed to get the job done, while retaining my factory backup camera.What’s more, though, is that throughout the entire process they treated me like I was a customer buying a $5,000 full setup from them, even though I barely spent anything. They answered my questions when I called after I had left, looked up things to help me get the job done on my own, and proved to be true experts when I couldn’t find the answers I was looking for on Internet forums.I will be going back to these guys for anything I need in the future. Extreme Audio shows how business should be done.

Excellent service and products provided by Extreme Audio in Mechanicsville. I plan to return for a bit more work in the near future.Purchased a 2005 Jeep wrangler about one year ago; Willys Tribute edition. The prior owner changed a lot of things over the years, some good changes and some not-so-good.One of the not-so-good updates was a JVC radio with horrible sound production and basically zero separation. The radios CD player was also non-functional, and the dust around the intake area looked like it had not been working for a while.Extreme Audio took a look and recommended a fairly affordable alpine system. They also noticed that the bezel of the dash mounting kit had been broken... they did not have an exact fit in stock, so they placed an order for the kit and set me up an appointment to return at 9AM on Saturday.I returned on Saturday and they were ready to roll right on time. The installation was performed in a timely manner, with the guys keeping me informed of progress. The job was finished on-time and for the exact amount quoted, and I could not be happier.The Alpine system sounds fantastic! I can actually hear the trebles, mids and bass. The controls on this alpine are so much easier to use than the tiny control on the old JVC. The CD player works well and sounds great too.Nice guys who explain things very well. Work was quick and thorough, and also exactly on-budget. Will be back when its time to pump up the amp and subwoofer!

Searched a couple places, even got a few estimates, but nothing came even remotely close to how impressed I was with them. Constantly getting the run around by other places and the high estimates just werent working for me. Saw the high ratings for close to me tinting places and took my 2018 Camaro here. And had a great experience.Staff is very friendly~ always a plus.It was an appointment for two weeks later when I called it, $50 down, $200 upon completion. I waited the entire time and the wait time was shorter than I expected. I was told 3hrs and only waited a bit over 2 hrs!Upon completion I was told there will be some bubble like textures in the film and that they should disappear. They were indeed correct on this. The service always comes with 3M warranty if I have any issues in the future.I also found a water bottle in my cup holder with their logo on it, very useful for someone that goes to the gym a lot. A little gesture can mean a lot. It was considerate of them.Needless to stay I am pleased with this service and would take my other chevy and other vehicles here for window tinting should I decide to.

I found this company on the Internet on a Friday morning. I went to the Hull St Rd facility that Friday. Hunter installed my radio on the spot! He was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I will recommend Extreme Audio to others.

Our old Wrangler came with blown speakers on the rollbar, so someone hooked up old computer speakers to the radio. Needless to say it was pretty bad. Extreme Audio was able to replace the blown speakers while preserving the already installed speaker bar, rewired and everything. We didnt need extreme necessarily, just some solid audio but these guys delivered spot on for much less than we were expecting. They even tucked away some loose non-audio related wires for us so the Jeep has a much cleaner feel now! Definitely recommend this team - fast but quality work and really friendly people who are easy to share a laugh with.

Simply outstanding. I worked with Greg to conduct some extensive research in an effort come up with a solution to a unique vehicle configuration that would bring my audio capability into the 21st century. After being offered a wide range of options, I chose an aftermarket audio component that was new to the US market that would meet my needs and retain an OEM look. Although it was the first such installation for the shop, Chris and Greg collaborated for a superb install, even integrating a backup camera that looks factory. Greg even took the time to talk me through and demonstrate all the features of the new system before handing me the keys. The whole Extreme Audio team was a great pleasure to work with, and Ill happily make the 90 minute journey for future work!

Not much to go off of to leave a proper rating except a picture, the customer service, and the nice clean lobby. Drove the 2 hour drive down there to talk to the shop about building a box for my car. Was told the box guy wasnt in that day the guy at the counter was really busy but still helped me. I gave him the specs for the box, got called crazy (Almost 3cubes for a single 12 T2D212 overkill but thats what I wanted an it wasnt going to fit. I told him I had a bigger box in there before so it would. He told me it was $80hr not including materials and showed me a picture of a home theater box which looked like the type of material I wanted. He wrote down my specs, name, and number for the guy to call me the next day. Two weeks later, no response, I showed up again, different guy told me he was busy, wrote down my info one more time, got told it wasnt going to fit again. No call at all for another week so I called them, repeated the last conversation. No follow up at all since then. Already had the box built by a local and couldnt be happier.

Look elsewhere. Everytime I come here the prices seem high and the sales folks almost seem to want to challenge my lack of understanding to make it more challenging for me to buy anything. Always throws up a lot of hurdles / variables that makes it more challenging than it needs to be.

We purchased a Nissan Rogue and wanted to upgrade our radio. It was suggested we go to Extreme Audio and check them out. Bryan was very knowledgeable, helpful and polite. We not only upgraded our radio to the “Halo 9” unit with Apple CarPlay, we added mud flaps and wind deflectors. The entire process from selection to installation was extremely easy and convenient. I got a remote start for my wifes car. They explained what the advantages of each system to me and helped me choose the right one for the vehicle. The system works great and we are extremely happy with our purchase.

Was charged a higher price than what was estimated originally. By the sister shop across town. Wouldn’t have minded but it took them about 5 hours to complete the job. Meanwhile waiting at their shop sucked! No accommodations ie. Water/vending machines etc. and no places real close to walk to. The tint on my vette rear window, was the best they offered. A year later, I got air bubbles around the dot matrix. I originally inquired about wrapping the dot matrix in vinyl . I was told it wasn’t necessary.I ended up taking my vette to another shop to have the air bubbles cut out and removed and wrapped in vinyl.I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone for window tinting. Overpriced and questionable work quality.

I love this place Mann!!! Originally I got a stealth box put in my 13 explorer in the mechansville store. Awesome job. Flawless install. Also I had hids and a flip down installed. Every thing was perfect. Less than a year later I blew my sub, and gave them a call, but now I have moved to Chester so I go to the location on Hull st. No issue, they ordered a new sub and installed it. Fast forward, I traded that explorer away for another, so I called them to install the same stealth box in my 17 explorer. Awesome job again. I didnt have any of the wiring from the original install. Not a problem. They hooked me up. Mind you I called and went to many audio shops all said they couldnt do it because of the missing parts. Extreme Audio did it all flawlessly and quickly. If you want your car audio installed correctly give them a call...

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Provided information based on questions asked. My only con was the wait, Im not patient but when Im told it would be a couple hours, Im expecting 2 hours not 3.5 or more.

Have always had my music done by Extreme .But when It came to window tint I was a little Skeptical about letting them do my windows, but after the staff explained to me about how the Tint is Laser Cut to the Specs of each vehicle I was sold !! Once I seen my truck after it was done I knew that this was my ALL IN 1 SHOP . I will be going back to finish outfitting my Truck !!! (VERY PLEASED)

Mike and Greg are exceptionally knowledgeable in all aspects of mobile audio, and I will recommend them first and foremost to anyone I overhear discussing car audio equipment. Kevin is the cleanest installer of equipment that I have ever seen and I have been around 100s of different car audio applications ranging from mild to wild. These guys can do ANYTHING you want as long as it makes sense and will sound good. What I liked the best is that they were patient enough to answer my questions and to steer me in the direction that made the most sense for my particular system requirements--instead of just what would make them the most coin... If I had one negative thing to say it would be having the ability to choose from more brand options, but then again, dealers are limited to what they can choose and talk about when they commit to a certain brand.. (or so Im guessing). Over all, if you want to upgrade the sound of your vehicle and you WANT IT DONE RIGHT, then do not hesitate to stop in to one of the two Extreme Audio locations!

I searched for a keyfob remote starter for 9 months (2015 Lexus). Extreme Auto solved my problem! Same day professional service, good price, and most of all, My wife is Happy with her remote remote starter!

Ive been in there a few times asking about buying some install accessories and they have always been very helpful and informative.

My first purchase from Extreme was back when they were on Broad St. About 20 years and 10 vehicles later, and I still wouldnt consider going anywhere else. Ive referred my parents (whove each taken several cars here) probably another aunt/uncle, and at least 1 friend here. My first 2 systems I bought were in the $2000-$3000 range. I settled down for a few years, then came back with a truck about a year ago. The salesman (that no longer works there) paired me with a head unit that relied on my phone for navigation, as opposed to one native on the unit. This saved me hundreds. The speakers we chose - to keep me within budget are OK. While placing the order, I heard him list a couple hundred dollars for the installation. I said installation...? I thought that was free!?! He kinda scoffed and said no. I mentioned that Id never paid for installation before (and name dropped the owner). He assured me theyd never done free installations. OK then. Then he went on to sell me a $40 tuning fee that would involve some sort of audio expert precisely configuring the sound stage for my exact listening position...Sure bud, add it on. I ended up not liking those settings and changed it to better suite me.That salesman no longer works there.Today I went back in the shop looking to add some (grownup) bass to that system. I had hoped the full range speakers would keep me happy, and they did for a while. Then I bought a new daily driver with a factory sub-woofer, and now the trucks sound isnt as appealing. Brian went over my components, and listened as I described the balance of sound, and space I wanted before I mentioned my budget. JL Audio makes a Stealth box designed specifically for my truck and sells for around $900 - and thats before the amp, wiring, and installation. Rather than try to put me in that, or a comparable custom box, he first demod a floor model 8 that he thought would be very well suited. This was $280. The amp I asked about was about $100 more than the one he recommended. Knowing theres no way I can really know if the sub and amp I chose will make me happy until its installed, he said hed allow me buy it, and listen for a week. If Im not happy I can upgrade that 8 to a very similar 10. If I like the 10s sound, but not the space it uses, then I can upgrade again for either a custom sealed (cheaper and smaller) or ported (louder, bigger, more expensive) box.Brian was awesome. At no point did I feel like he was trying to sell me the most expensive thing they offer, his recommendations seemed to be the most economical way to achieve the balance of sound and space. Working with Brian today reminded me of shopping with Mike years ago.

I recently took my 2013 Chevy Silverado in to get a pioneer bluetooth stereo installed. The staff was very knowledgeable and professional. It took like 4 hrs for them to install it but it was well worth the wait. Final outcome exceeded my expectations
