This isp is terrible, our wi-fi will go off multiple times a day, and the only way for it to work again is to reboot our modem,The only good thing about them is that they you use lots of devices at once.

They forced us to change to plume internet, a wifi-only internet that doesnt actually work. Were paying 200 dollars per month right now for something that doesnt work and should be 50-60 USD per month. Also, they have a 200GB data cap, which you need to pay extra per month to increase.

I went to the office and showed Id and proof of address and told the guy Id call or b bac in to let him know wut service we wanted but I never ended up calling or running bac to the office and I get a email n a guy shows up like 2 days later n hooked our cable n internet up wit a package they must have chose..I had not ordered the service so had to call and see wut package he signed us up for ..I mean dont get me wrong friendly staff n the installer was very professional and sweet ...

I have had a number of different internet providers over the years — Comcast, Verizon, Frontier. Armstrong set up my internet service and I have had no problems whatsoever. Not one. But the thing I appreciate most is their billing. Every month they bill me the EXACT AMOUNT they told me I would owe — I had continuous billing issues with Frontier until I just couldn’t stand it another minute and I disconnected. I had service issues as with Comcast and they had horrible customer service. So I am very pleased with Armstrong.

Tv service interrupts regularly with channels losing connections for several seconds before returning. Sound varies widely between channels. Internet connect varies widely with down load speeds of 12.9 mbps to 82.9 mbps while paying for a 100. mbps connection speed. this affects my Wi-fi connected devices resulting in losing connections to the wi-fi and having to reboot devices to regain cloud service. but they are the best thats out there in a rural setting

These guys somehow manage to make DSL faster and more reliable than Cable Internet, that is pretty pathetic. Dont bother using this terrible service, constant outages as well!

I cant for the life of myself understand how a company alots a time frame for service calls to fix issues with your TV, Internet or phone in a 4 hour window! Not being cooperative to inform you of the service schedule that day ahead of time to try and accommodate all parties involved. Last I knew customers that keeps Armstrong employees with a paycheck . Giving a 15 to 20 minute call ahead of appointment is just absurd and no reason that customers cant be notified prior that morning. Who can sit around in a 4 hour window waiting on them when you need to work or have other appointments. Like life is to stop for their service calls! Then it takes weeks to even get appointment scheduled. Armstrong you really need to work on the customer service first and work around them, not them working around you!

If I could give less than one star, I would. Rude customer service, continually told me they would follow up but did not. Service install was scheduled for Friday afternoon 12-4. I used vacation time from work and no one showed up. Still no internet three days later. No one is able to give me answers or schedule an installation day and time. Unfortunately this is the only service available in my area or I wouldnt even entertain the idea of using Armstrong. Very disappointing.

Definitely not a company Id recommend. They are lucky that there is very little competition in the area or theyd be out of business. We pay for 100 mbps and regularly only have 10 to 15 and occasionally it just cuts out altogether. Heres to hoping that a good provider moves into the area soon.

Customer service is wonderful! But that is where it stops! I have to pay for dozens and dozens of channels when I only watch, maybe 15 at the most! Reception gets worse, but the prices go up at least once a year! Today my phone and computer are both out since 11 am and I cant even get Armstrong on my cell. Busy signal for the past 2 hrs. Second time in 2 wks. Last time it was 2 days before it was fixed! Internet service also not great! If there was any competition besides a dish, I would be gone!

The prices are ridiculous. I paid my bill online like I do every month and apparently never went through they took off my promotion and now my bill is double the price it was, no one seems to find my payment I made no one seems to be able to help me get my promotion back I am highly unhappy and I highly do not recommend Armstrong services .

They are such a second rate organization, they advertise the latest and greatest EXP remote controls, call in they say just bring your old remotes and we will replace them, brought them in, first ones free $10 each for the rest. My cable bill is over $300 a month, been a customer for over 12 years, thats over $40,000.00, they just lost my business over $60.00. Idiots.

Our internet service is as bad as I’ve ever had, then when you factor in that the TV and phone are all reliant on the internet it’s just bad. Then factor in the price because it keeps going up every year. We started out at $170 a month for TV, internet and home phone. Now 2 years later it’s went up to $240 and we never changed our service. So if there’s anything else available take it because you won’t be happy with Armstrong!!

Horrible service, lose connection constantly, have had techs come out several times, so you have to take off work to sit and wait . Still not fixed. Yet they are going to have another price rate raise. If everyone would stick together and cancel service maybe they would change their pricing.

I thought coaxial cable was bad but they didnt have anything on Armstrong. I had a payment arrangement with the Meadville office, my bill still showed pending shut off so I called they said as long as there is a outstanding balance that message would be on my bill. I paid the arrangement over two months and called every month this month i didnt call. Paid the bill online four days later they shut me off. When I called to ask why, I was transferred to the butler office not only was there no record of my payment arrangement but, I had to pay my total bill plus a reconnect fee to get turned back on since they wont set up a payment arrangement once you have been shut off! I wish there was another option but a monopoly is a monopoly. Lets not even mention the scam of data caps!!!!!!

Terrible customer service! We made several appointments for them to install their modem (they insisted, not us) and made it clear that everyone in our household works during the day and the earliest we could be home is 4:15. My fiance rushed home twice to find the technician had already came and gone. This company has unrealistic hours to be servicing people with 9-5 jobs. Of the several people we talked to only one wasnt rude. Most made it seem like our fault we had jobs that didnt work around the their hours. If there were another internet service in the area we would pay extra for it.

I NEVER write negative reviews on Google, but I am so beyond over this company. I wish I could give it 0 stars. If you can avoid dealing with this company by going with another internet or cable provider, PLEASE DO. We do not have another internet option, due to our location. We were contacted because they had to come and install one of their modems. We already had our own personal one that worked fine. Because of this request, I have had to reschedule 3 technician appointments because they have put in the notes to be there after a certain time, I rushed home from work, and they had already come. Technicians can only come out during a 2:00-4:30 window, which is NOT convenient for people who work. I even asked them to just drop off the modem, and we would just install it ourselves. They told us we would have to drive to the Meadville office which is extremely far from us. I was on hold each time for over 45 minutes, with terrible costumer service. I complained about the hassle caused by all of this, and they gave me a whole 5 dollar credit. I had to schedule the technician to come out on my day off from work, and to top it all off he ended up taking our own personal modem with him instead of leaving it. MISCOMMUNICATION AT ITS FINEST FOR TWO MONTHS. So, I just had to call them again. As the saying goes, the costumer is always first and right....unless youre this company. I would switch in a heartbeat if we had another internet option.

The caps are unreasonable and not not sufficient for modern gaming. A single game can check in at close to 100 GBs of data (Halo 5, ESO, etc.) and steady streams of updates for games that you already have installed can easily chew through most allowances that their plans give. Im not sure where their average data usage numbers are coming from, since there doesnt seem to be any sources cited in the small print, but I wouldnt be surprised if their sampling was cherry picked to ignore families, gamers, and Netflix subscribers. The 300GB plan I pay for is a close call every month.

Absolutely terrible with internet usage charges. On top of that, they dont inform you just how much you are going over if you are. I only found out how much we went over when I looked at my bank account. On top of this, when I called them, I was on hold for 45 minutes. Absolutely terrible customer service. If there was any other provider with half decent internet speeds, I would switch to them in a heartbeat

They messed up, charged me on the WRONG date (TEN DAYS before my actual payment was due) Then said it was their fault, but refused to refund my bounce back fee of $25! Plus they hid the data cap from me then hit me with a bunch of overage charges This business is the absolute worst thing. I wish they werent the only internet company around here.
