Meca Tree Service is top notch! The knowledge and skill, customer service, and pricing cant be beat. They made removing a massive tree in our backyard, which was leaning over an apartment building, the most straightforward project we have done. The only hold up was waiting for a date ComEd gave.

They were friendly and professional!Much faster than other places I called and the price was so low I thought I heard wrong when they said it.They had our tree down in 20 minutes, ground the stump, cleaned up the pieces, and even used the leaf blower on our yard. The tree was touching both mine and my neighbors’ houses and it came down without so much as scraping a gutter. Amazing!

Needed to have a large blue spruce trimmed since it was beginning to impact neighbors wires. Mike came and gave an estimate and maybe a week later I was able to be put on their calendar. Today they showed up (was told theyd be there sometime after 12pm) around 2pm. It seemed as if an army of Meca Tree Service guys suddenly were in our backyard and the job took maybe 45 minutes from start to finish. All of the men working were nice. You can tell they are aware of how a homeowner might be anxious about damage to decking or yard or other gardens plants and trees. Great service and Mike was clear about what would be done and how it would be done. Give them a call if you need an estimate for tree work.

I have Used Meca Tree Service on 2 occasions. They are highly skilled and professional. Their employees are friendly and polite. They do excellent work and clean up completely, when they are finished. The price was reasonable and service was absolutely superb!

I had a 150+ foot cottonwood on my property line and up against the neighborhood power line. This was a mammoth task and involved coordination with the city, ComEd, and my neighbor. I took bids from three other tree service companies and Meca was the most affordable by a few thousand dollars. I was a bit worried at first that I would end up paying for choosing the most affordable option, but from the moment they arrived to take down the tree, to weeks later when my fencing contractor came to install a fence in the same spot as the old tree, I could not be happier. Their expertise in taking this massive tree down without any impact on my property or those of my neighbors was incredible to watch - I have absolutely no idea how they knew which branch to cut and where to tie it so it would gracefully fall in a seemingly effortless motion! Everyone on the crew was exceptionally professional and polite. I really recommend this company - so much so that I will never use another tree service company.

If you want trees cut fast and with great service, this is it. Called Tuesday for estimate..2 hours later someone came and gave me price for a massive pine tree and huge bush removal. Next day crew of 8 came and took care of business in less than 3 hours. They cleaned up nicely afterwards too.If this company were public Id buy a few thousand shares.

Hire these folks! We had two stumps embedded with chainlink right on our property line. I called Meca on Wednesday, had an estimate Thursday, and Saturday the whole crew showed up and had our stumps out in under an hour. Friendly, professional, fast and the price couldnt be beat. Multiple companies didnt want to come near our stumps due to the chainlink but these guys didnt bat an eye. We were very impressed and would use them again!
