They were timely, professional and upfront with all aspects of my fan replacement. They even sent a tech back to check our unit since I thought I heard an off sound. These guys mage the process of replacing our fan for our system pretty painless.

Installer was professional and work looked great. I was very satisfied initially. As soon as the weather turned cold the system developed some sort of vibration that created a humming noise. The noise is very annoying, especially at night. This isnt the normal whir of a fan, it sounds like a vaccuum cleaner strapped to the side of the house.I paid about $1100 for the system 5 months ago. I called thinking theyd come right over, tighten a few screws, and apologize for their mistake.Nope. Instead of standing by their warranty they hid behind it. Claimed they werent responsible for audibility problems. They acknowledge its a simple fix but want an additional $149 to correct their own mistake. Theyd rather destroy theyre reputation than do the right thing. Id stay clear. Hire a local guy who cares about his neighbors and his reputation.

The work they did was great. The installer was polite and friendly and took the time to do a nice clean job.He showed up early which might not matter to some people, but when you get a window of time I much prefer them to arrive within that window only since we all work odd hours. I would recommend them again

Speed of install was great and tech who did the install was courteous and professional. I was under the gun to get the air radon redone by the house closing deadline post-mitigation. My recommendation for improving your service is to handle this aspect for your customers. I have mailed the test package post 72 hours and it has now been a week (mailed from NH post office). I called the office to let them know I was concerned the lateness of the test results and worries that I wouldn’t make my house closing deadline and the operator was abrupt and essentially talked over me and essentially hung up on me. There was no backup or help suggested. I was just left to worry on my own with no reassurances. The house closing is in one week. My recommendation is that the company help closely manage this as it is there expertise!

A few days ago I had Radon reduction system installed in my house by SWAT Environmental. SWAT sales team responded on timely manner, provided me with the appraisal, plan and schedule.The job was done by Thomas Mercier. When he was a little late due to traffic, he called me and let me know. After arrival, he actively looked for a best place for the location of the fan to make sure it will not affect the outlook of the house.He did the work well and clean up everything after the work. he also patiently explained to me the things need to pay attention and answered all my questions professionally. It gave me the feeling that he is trustworthy.Due to Acton town special requirement, I met some issue with electrical wiring. I talked his manager Becky and the boss Adam. Both of them are nice and kind people like your old good friends. They tried their best to help and provided me additional information.On the whole, it is a good experience with SWAT and I strongly recommend their professional services

Such a professional company! I was incredibly pleased with Tommy and James as a spectacular sales team and certified radon specialist. I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently they got the technicians out to several of my properties. As a realtor, I will use them for all of my future properties. I even had the pleasure to follow up with Becky and the owner, Adam. I couldnt speak more highly of a company and recommend them above anyone else.

Right now I am having issues with the radon level. The first fan was replaced as it did not lower the radon level. The second fan worked for a couple months and then the radon levels have been spiking for the last 4 weeks between 5 and 6. Called the given number and I was trying to explain the situation to a person named George. However he refused to accept my explanation and disconnected the line when I requested him to send a technician to check the system. . He was very rude. I had to call back and the same George answered the call and there was no change in his attitude. He thinks he is a superior being and I his subordinate worker or something. He appeared to have forgotten that I am the customer. He refused to send a technician. Is this the way your staff treat customers? SWAT Environmental was very quick to response, placed my system exactly where I wanted it, guaranteed radon levels to be in compliance with EPA recommendations, and was the most affordable system available. The system is super quiet and you would hardly know it is there.

RUN away from this place! I was selling a home that came back with high radon levels. I spoke with JJ and he sold me a system. When the techs arrived to install the system they told the renter/buyer that they couldnt enter the home with radon levels this high and needed respirators. They proceeded to frighten the prospective buyers to the point they wanted to move out. In speaking with JJ he just defended his tech and offered a refund. I took it and called around. I found quite a few companies that were used to radon levels like we have and they were VERY calm and confident they could solve the problem WITHOUT the need to scare my buyers. This place is unprofessional and ill equipped to handle radon beyond normal high levels. I was very disappointed in my experience with SWAT BEYOND BELIEF! After my call to cancel I got a call from the woman (Ashley??) who explained there would be a fee involved. I told her I didnt want to pay it. She continued to argue with me then threatened me to report my house to some agency about high radon levels! Can you believe these people??? There was no need for this.

Efficient execution, fast turn around, and poor placement. First guy comes out tells me they can put it exactly where I want it. Second guy comes to install it puts it in different place. Now I have a basement door I can’t open 100% without hitting the piping that was put in. Outside looks fine, although brackets on side of house crush the vinal siding slightly. Also, tech drilled through studs to feed power line. I found this confusing as all other cabling in house is tacked to the sills or bottom of joists. Had this installed 3 months ago. Pretty happy with the system. If you hire them, make sure you watch the tech and ensure it is installed exactly the way you want it. Prolly going to have to find another company to move the piping so that it is where I wanted it and not blocking door. Fast turn around. Professional demeanor. Good price for external system. Update: 12/15/2020 - Upping this from 3 to 4 stars. Two years have passed and suction measurement gauge shows that the system is still going strong. No issues with piping or fan installed. No excessive noise. Very happy with this radon reduction system.

Dont stand behind their products and work. Called with a non-warranty issue with water treatment system. We were told they are too busy to schedule service and to look elsewhere. They are the only contractor in MA.

Wouldnt guarantee new radon levels after mitigation system is installed, only that it will be under EPA recommended levels. Bunch of con artists looking to install mitigation systems with no regard for quality or peoples lives.

Mitigation cost $1050 and it brought the levels from a 5 to a 0.9 its ugly and you can hear the fan but it slows the rate at which the earth irradiates you from the inside out
