Jason did a great job to repair my hot tub. He is knowledgeable and efficient in doing the work. I would recommend Preferred Pools and Spas, and Jason to other people if a repair service is needed.
UPDATE: The delivery men were amazing! They answered all of our questions and helped us feel more comfortable about being first time hot tub owners! They all were so nice and had a good sense of humor! When we asked what we should do with it in the summer, because we were thinking we wouldnt use it, they laughed and told us to make it a cold tub! I loved that because I didnt even realize that was a thing! Thank you all so much! I will recommend you to anyone and everyone!Jessica was amazing! She helped us purchase our very first hot tub! We knew nothing about the maintenance or how to care for one and she explained everything to us. Its much easier than we were expecting. We were a little hesitant about the price, it was over our budget, but when we found out it included everything (steps, filters, shock treatment and cover) we decided to go for it!We had to pay with multiple cards and cash and she was so understanding. Even went above and beyond and said we could do a Venmo transaction to make it easier! Unfortunately, that didnt work either because of our bank, but we will be able to call and make the final payment soon.We ordered the hot tub on Saturday, March 20th and it will be delivered to us Tuesday, March 23rd!! Which is basically impossible when you try to buy from other places and the competitors are more expensive! Im so excited to work with them since they service and help if something goes wrong! I was going to wait until they delivered the hot tub, but Im too excited to give them this review and will update it once its delivered. Thank you so much Jessica!
What kind of company delivers a hot tub WITHOUT a power cord? PERFERRED POOLS AND SPAS. Delivery men were great. Answered all questions showed my son how to properly put chemicals in etc. Was told cord had to be ordered. Its like a kid at Christmas without batteries. I paid a mega fortune for this over 8000.00 and no power cord. TOTALLY Unacceptable.
Paid $6,000 cash May 14, 2020 for a hot tub. Delivery was fine, but had to have someone out a month later for a lighting issue. Not a big deal. The big deal is that I paid $6,000 cash for a hot tub that only worked for less than 1 year! Ive been waiting for them to come and fix it for over a week! The water is now green and slimy, and now its out of warranty. Beware! They dont take care of their customers after they get your money!
Bought a used hot tub from them they guaranteed it didn’t leak. As soon as we got it home it started leaking. Loosing 2” of water every day. They took it back and had it for a whole month. Brought it back and we filled it again and it still leaks. They won’t help us. They want to charge us for their mistakes. Horrible service! Do not recommend especially for repairs!
Ordered a Michael Phelps hot tub and H2X swim spa! Pumps went out on the hot tub. Never got any owners manuals which we’re supposed to be in the cabinets of the spa’s. I was told they would get us books for both!!! They never did! It took months to fix the pumps that were bad! The guys that delivered the swim spa said they would replace a panel that was damaged and bring us a free filter kit but never delivered either!
We made an appointment to have our hot tub looked at due to it leaking. Made the apt for a Friday 2 weeks out as that was their first available appointment. We were REQUIRED to give them a credit card just to make the appointment. They said it is a new policy because we are having trouble with pepole not paying I wasnt overly impressed with this but I planned to pay for any service we were provided so I gave it to them. Then we got a call on Wednesday prior to our appointment to reschedule as they wanted to give the techs a 4 day weekend over Thanksgiving. It was rescheduled for the following Tuesday. The day of this appointment just a few hours before the appointment we received another call to reschedule. Said the tech was unable to come to work that day. It was then rescheduled for today, Friday between 3:30 and 5 we were told. No one arrived so I called and was told that the tech had been out all week and that they rescheduled us for Monday. No one called to cancel or reschedule at all. Just left us sitting at home waiting for them to show up. We decided to try to fix it ourselves and declined to reschedule. They did apologize but.......2 cancelled appointments and 1 no call no show we lost all faith in the company. Sounds like they have serious issues with service and communication. They are the only local master spa dealer and no one else wants to work on them, so Im not sure if I would ever even buy a master spa again either. Love the hot tub but if this is the only company to call to work on it when we have an issue, its definitely not worth the hassle.
Great service. And when everyone else was telling us it would take 6 months to get a hot tub delivered, Preferred Pools was able to deliver in less than a month.
Business hours not catered to those that actually work for a living. 10am to 5pm? During a time when hot tub purchases are through the roof.
Okay for starters I will say I really love the spa I love the jet action and the way its set up but we purchased it on September 8th 2019 it was brought out to our house 2 days later which was good all that they did was just drop it and leave no checking to see if the electricity was right matter fact nobody even asked about that soul from day one we had problems with the heat being maintained when it was 60 70 degrees out the temp would climb now when it got cold the temperature would keep dropping we were told its because it was insulated so well and was getting motor friction blah blah blah had a technician come out and check it didnt even check the electricity my husband called again they said something about a dip switch but said it would take two weeks before anybody could come look at it so my husband asked to have a schematic sent nothing was sent so he called back they told him to check inside the panel for the layout well he fix the dip switch himself seems to be working fine but I would think that would have been the first thing the technician would have checked when he came out when we first had problems Im given the rating only on the tub not the service
I do not recommend this business to anyone. Poor customer service, organization, and communication between service dept and techs. The left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing.
I was very happy with a replacement liner I had Preferred change in our in ground pool last year. This year we found that our pool light was loose & called Preferred to fix it. They sent out a totally unqualified, unprofessional pool tech who they told me later they terminated. The tech walked in our backyard & said we could fix it ourselves & then charged us 100.00. When I called to inform Preferred they said they would come back in the fall & fix it. I followed up in the fall, I was asked for the type of pool light we had. I sent the pool manual to Preferred and was told they would be back in touch with me. I have not heard back from. Called another pool company and they fixed the light for a lot less than the service call Preferred charged. Needless to say, very disappointed in their charge for nothing!!

Purchased a very expensive Master spa. They dropped it on delivery and we have had issues with it that were never taken care of. When I continued to complain they told me to leave their store and never come back.I was warned by multiple people about their poor service but I did not listen as we wanted a master spa.
Went to check on a order that we had placed over a month ago and they still havent received them in.
Very knowledgeable staff. Very helpful for us newbies. Will be back.
Weve had 4 different hot tubs as weve moved to new homes and I have to say this business was the best to deal with. Of course we shopped around. Folks this is a big purchase and other hot tub placed didnt want to work with us on the tub or the price. Jessica spent a lot of time, she followed up to e-mails afterwords with additional information we needed and we came to the agreement we needed and we had a hot tub in our back yard 3 days later. They advertise 50% off. When you go in and ask about the advertisement they laugh at you. Total scam to get you in the door. Marketing is horrible!

Terrible service and product. My tub is a little over one year old and I have had numerous replacement parts and it is still not working. The customer service is poor and “Bill” the service manager is sarcastic and should not be in customer service. I plan to file a lawsuit
Apparently your workers dont know how to read because they juse drove through a road closed sign where there are people working!!!! Busy or not busy in the round about doesnt give you the right to drive through a work zone!!! Drive around like everyone else!!!
