My AC broke and I figured Id contact a local company instead of some blob chain. Ted came out himself asap past normal working hours after I called, listened to what I had to say, got under the house and diagnosed the issue promptly.He gave me a fair price and was courteous and relaxed. Ted was great. He was very fast with his response time to my phone call. While he couldn’t help with the specific need for my gas fireplace, he stayed on the phone with me for a good 10 minutes to walk me through a a few different things to try with my fireplace. I called Ted this afternoon about my A/C not cooling. Given that it’s the middle of the summer and it was already late in the afternoon, he apologized and said he couldn’t make it today, but that he would squeeze me in tomorrow. I told him that I may need to try to get it done tonight. Instead of just leaving me to find someone, he suggested another reputable company that I could try. I called the other company but, like Ted, they couldn’t come out until tomorrow morning. I texted Ted and let him know that, and 30 min later, he called me to let me know he was outside my house. He said he finished up early, so he figured he’d go ahead and come by. Took a look and quickly fixed my issue.Bottom line, he referred to a competitor because he couldn’t get to me immediately, and then when they couldn’t do it, he came by after he had finished for the day.Great guy, great service, great value! Highly recommend!

Called Mr. Cook early on a Monday morning. Early August and no AC. He called back within the hour and promised to try to work me in. Thankfully, he did, meeting me at my house in the mid-afternoon. He quickly diagnosed one problem and fixed the condenser unit. I explained Id had work done on the attic air handler over the winter, so he checked that, too, and found several problems, all of which he fixed. When he gave me my bill, I was shocked. It was a third of what Id expected. I asked him about this and he shrugged, saying, thats a fair price for the work.Mr. Cook is honest and skilled. Many people in my neighborhood of Brighton-Carisbrooke use him. I can see why. Hes top drawer.

Ted just replace our old system with the latest and greatest Trane system! They removed all of our old duct work that was done poorly from the beginning and replaced it with brand new ductwork. The system works fantastic and this is the first time in years that weve actually been comfortable in our house! Ted has more knowledge about air conditioning than anyone else Ive ever met! If Ted says it you can take it to the bank! Would highly recommend Ted for any of your heating and air needs!

I had a 29 year old AC system that was leaking freon and needed replacement. Called Ted Cook and he explained why he only installs Trane equipment. It is made the best, has the least amount of maintenance and is made in the USA (Texas). He is a Trane certified Comfort Specialist. Ted got my AC installed 2 days before the original schedule date. Steve showed up and installed it professionally and even fixed some missing insulation from a previous repair that was neglected. I would highly recommend Ted Cook for your HVAC needs.

Ted was prompt and responsive when I called about service, and even explained additional troubleshooting ideas for me to look at on my system. When he arrived at my house he changed out the necessary parts and was back on the road in under 30 minutes - at a very reasonable price. Ted showed up the same day I called him. He was very knowledgeable of the unit in our home. He did not have the part needed on his vehicle but got one the very next day. He did a great job. Called the next day to follow up. He was very reasonable on pricing. Hopefully it wont be soon but if there is a new issue we will call him again.
