I meant to write this months ago, but every time I check my credit and see all of the inquiries that I did not approve the day I went to this dealership I was reminded to write about this experience in June.I came into the dealership with a preapproval from capital one and only requested them to submit to capital one for verification and they submitted to several lenders which put several hard inquiries on my report. They used a pushy and tacky practice of asking me to call several family members who could co-sign for me a loan, when I was okay with not getting an approval alone or with one lender.I ended up leaving and never returned and won’t.

Brian in service was able to get me in for an oil change without an appointment. I am so grateful because I need to drive to Minnesota for my brothers home going celebration. Thank you again Brian for your compassion! God bless!

I AM A MILITARY VETERAN with integrity and would never bad mouth a business based on emotion this is a true account of my experience unfiltered and unbiased with full accountability. Straight to the point this isnt about cost or hurt feelings. This is merely about how they treat their customers in general. My fiancé was treated horribly at this dealership mainly by an associate by the name of ART. We had a small block engine swap that took little over 3 months due to parts shortage which is understandable coming from over seas. Yet we couldnt even get periodic phone calls regarding status of repair. Also visual inspections are just that visual they will not do their due diligence to ensure work is complete and not lead to other problems. We had to pay for a paint scratch on the rental car that was there previously before receiving it issue was addressed at the time we got it ( associate said no worries) which we paid our insurance deductible $500 crazy right. ALWAYS GET IT IN WRITING!!! Throughout the process we lost complete faith in this dealership and its management. And lastly the key fob was given to us after payment and the car wouldnt start, the battery was dead this was comical. They couldnt even check the battery. I will not be part of the problem and ignore it. Id rather address it head on so it doesnt happen to someone else. Im not a believer of the customer is always right because that is not true. We were just treated poorly and dont want it to happen to others. If you value good customer service dont come here Ive been a resident of Matteson for over 20 yrs and want to keep my dollars in the community, but will not patronize this business ever again and do not recommend.

Eric is the absolute best person to buy a car from! You never feel like hes just trying to sell you a car, he always makes sure its the perfect fit for both your needs & your desires. I was recommended to him by my parents, who got a car from him many many years ago. He literally remembered my family dog that far down the road and asked about her. We had lost her during covid that year, so it meant so much to me that he thought to ask about our angel. Its been months later and he asks how the car is going. Best car shopping experience I’ve had yet. I inquired online about a same day test drive for a 2022 Tucson. I received a call from the dealership within a hour to set an appointment. I also received a call from the rep (Patrick) that I would be working with to answer any questions ahead of time. When I arrived Patrick was ready to help and take me to the Tucson. Although I incorrectly quoted the price of the suv, Patrick was very helpful in showing me my options. Between Patrick and the gentleman in finance this was the fastest, smoothest car buying experience I’ve had. I was very nervous about this big purchase and I appreciated not being hassled or pressured into anything. I’m happy to have establish a relationship with this dealership!

Absolutely terrible service from everyone, including the sales manager terry whom was very inconsiderate couldnt take the courtesy to reach back out. They will lie to get you into their establishment, they will bring you a vehicle you didnt ask for. After making you wait for 45 minutes even though, you scheduled an appointment. Ramona or Mona is also not reliable. I talk to multiple sales representatives as well as the sales manager. They all lied even though they were fully aware that I was traveling 2 plus hours to their location. I got to their location my sales representative was not ready. The person who took over the sale had knowledge of anything what so ever. Again, I already talked to multiple sales representatives and managers who all basically told me the same thing once I got there the story was completely different, even though they ran credit and apparently had everything squared away - Futhermore I reached back out to each individual 20 minutes prior to leaving their facilities to fact check. Everyone was busy or with a customer was told I would be called back no one ever called. Sincerely dont recommend, Highly unprofessional! No courtesy or consideration for the customer.

This service department was very disappointing. I hate feeling like I was doing something wrong but from scheduling, to dropping off and to picking up my vehicle I cannot think of a thing that was done incorrectly; yet this dealership failed at all aspects. They probably do preventative maintenance really well but be cautious if you just dont need an oil change.

I can’t say enough good things about World Hyundai in Matteson. Their customer service is great! Everyone was helpful and efficient. I wasn’t in the dealership all day haggling over prices. Erik Garcia was my salesman and he worked with me to get the car I wanted at the price point that I needed. Not only was Tyrone great but so was the manager Terri. They did great helping me finding a vehicle that fits my budget. My experience felt very personal. I appreciate the follow ups and their patients with me. The process was easy and they were really nice. The cars that i test drove were nice low mileage cars.

Erik is honestly the best person I’ve ever dealt with when it comes to looking at cars. He made me feel very comfortable and didn’t rush me at all. I went to at least 8 different dealerships, and he is by far the most knowledgeable car salesperson of them all. He also is a very cool guy in general, which just makes you want to buy a car from him even more! My dad bought a car from him over 5 years ago, and he even asked us about our dog when we came in. Such a simple gesture meant the world to us. Once I met him, I immediately knew where I’d be buying a car from. When I initially came in the dealership I was upset because I wasnt being serviced but Elvia stepped in and gave me the best customer service ever. She was so patient with me and really helped me decide on a great Suv. She made sure I was comfortable and also followed up with me afterwards. After inquiring about a car online and submitting all of the necessary paperwork, I was informed that I was approved and could be put into a car. When I got there, I suddenly needed a co-signer and a bigger deposit. This was after I explained my situation, to which they said they acknowledged and could still work with me. After explaining I did not have a co-signer, they turned me away. I called and asked to speak to my loan coordinator that I was working with before I came in. She expressed she was sorry and investigate what happened and would call me back. I never received a call back and she stopped answering my calls and emails. Very disappointing experience for me, I hope others will be more fortunate with them.

Our experience with World Hyundai started off as a bad experience.My husband and I both have High Credit Scores, and initially we were offed a 5% interest rate on a NEW AUTO (2021), which was inexcusable, so we walked out, feeling that World Hyundai was trying to take advantage of us.We were so upset that we vowed never to set foot in World Hyundai again! We were DONE! Extremely rude people there, was talked to once and not even about getting a car, guy only talked to us for 5 minutes and than left us sitting there for about 1 1/2, finally someone comes to talk to us saying we got approved for the loan here but we needed a co signer even tho we stated on the phone we didn’t have that nor a down payment and they said that was fine, each time a worker would come back to us the down payment price would change and just get higher, don’t come here you will not get your money’s worth!
