Rented here for two years while commuting to Cincinnati for work. The apartments are spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The complex is only about six years old and is very well-maintained.The grounds are quite nice and there is a man-made lake. There’s a decent fitness center, a lovely pool, nice lobby, common areas, a space for meetings and to entertain. The management team is excellent. They are attentive, responsive and really do their best to make this a great place to live. I have had exactly zero complaints during my time here and any issues that I brought to their attention were immediately taken care of. It’s not inexpensive, but overall represents a good value. In addition, the location is very convenient, adjacent to major roads as well as I 71, while being nicely tucked away from from traffic. While I’m glad I no longer need to commute, I will miss this lovely community. Highly recommended!

While the staff are very courteous, the most important thing as a renter should be taking care of maintenance issues. this is the responsibility of the landlord in a timely matter. The tenant can be flexible but for how long and for how much and why?!!!You certainly wont be given a discount upon paying your rent for something that didnt work or was inop and malfunctioning and or not suitable for the basic living let alone luxury living as this location/company tend to call their property. So, waiting over a week to fix a leaking sink and using the bath tub as an alternative and/or the kitchen sink is definitely no where near basic living let alone luxurious!!!

Apart from the great location (quick access to 71 and 275) and nice amenities (pool, fitness and game room), the difference that really sets Latitude apart from the other luxury apartments in the area is the staff. The customer service from Sandy, Holly, and Mike has been wonderful! They are quick to respond by email, as well as very approachable in the front office. They take the time to plan community events and are actively involved on the property. Moved in over the summer and has been a pleasant experience since. Definitely recommend the apartment complex! (plus our view is SICK!)

I recently moved back to Ohio to be closer to my family after my divorce. As stressful as that is, finding a new place to settle for awhile can be as stressful as well. However, I came here to view a one bedroom apartment and I was greeted by Holly Kirby. I work in the dental field and patient care is a first class with me. All about the customer. Holly made me feel the way I strive to make my patients feel. Holly took her time to answer any and all questions, as well as waited patiently while I took measurements for my furniture. I have since then decided that, Im going to take the next steps in making Latitude my new home. All because of Holly making my visit about me and my needs. It took the stress off of looking elsewhere. Holly is a class act for OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE in my book! That is hard to come by these days. The only thing I would have liked to have seen at this beautiful property would have been more floor plans in person.

Living at Latitude has exceeded my expectations of convenience and accessibility to the places where I shop and eat. The staff and workers have been extremely helpful in fulfilling my needs as a resident. I am proud to tell others where I live and often find myself bragging about the cleanliness and quietness of our facility. I would highly recommend living at Latitude and would encourage others to come and see for themselves the lifestyle and amenities that Latitude has to offer. I have been a happy resident for 3 years and I am pleased to call Latitude my home.

Paper thin walls, loud inconsiderate neighbors & zero responsiveness to issues in apartment from the staff and maintenance team.Cabinets/fixtures are finished poorly and are direct reflections of our experience here. We moved into the apartment to find our sliding glass door had no lock and it then took them weeks to replace. To add further insult to injury, our AC wasn’t working and it took them weeks to fix this as well. They refused to get maintenance to look at the issue because of the season, even though it was over 80 degrees in our apartment the entirety of the wait.I will admit the staff is nice and attempts to be respectful. But, they’re entirely incapable of actually producing results in a reasonable fashion.Staff may be nice, but I don’t need nice when my apartment is falling apart...I need results. If after all of this you’re still signing a lease at Latitude, don’t sign the lease till you look at the apartment actually leasing.

Latitude at Deerfield Crossing is a great place to live, we moved here in July and love it! The staff is friendly and helpful. The apartments are clean and the grounds are well kept. It is a pet friendly location with outside grills/eating areas, large outdoor pool and hot tub, a game room, theater room, and gym, with trash pick up included! It’s also in a great area with many shops and restaurants around. Would definitely reccomend others to come check it out!

PROS: Great location by highway, grocery stores, restaurants, bars, super friendly staff, safe location.CONS: Now, I cannot WAIT for my lease to be up. The most annoying part of living here are the little kids running around all the time and that you can hear your neighbors TVs and them slamming their kitchen cabinets. Poorly insulated. The place was clearly built cheap. The thermostat I SWEAR is messed up and never stays on what I set it at. People do not pick up after their dogs (poop in the hallways on multiple occasions), toenail clippings everywhere, old apple thrown on the floors in the main lobby, dirt all over the floors. Smells of curry 75% of the time. My clothes in my closet smell like curry from my neighbors and I have to keep air fresheners in them to help my stuff not stink. Snow removal sucks and they do not plow parking spaces and when they do the parking lot, just turns to ice and you have to be SUPER careful not to fall. I have lived in many apartments and this is one I would never recommend. Overpriced for what you get.

I have lived at these apartments for a while now. Then, they removed the old staff. Now, there is a new receptionist working. She is absolutely unbearable, unprofessional, and she can’t speak well to people. We are at Mason. Something has to change. After being introduced to the new, rude staff, I can’t wait to move out. If there is a nice apartment like this built in Mason today, I will move in a rush. I pay about $1,500 for a 2 bedroom apartment and being disrespectful is not right.

Where to start with this company... First off I will make note that I was living in an Ant Infested apartment at Latitude for the entire year I was there. I told maintenance about this issue and they NEVER did anything about it... I lived on first floor so at first I figured because of foundation but once there were so many on my carpet by the back door to the point when I was trying to clean them out, they bit me because there were so many... They would come in by the bottom where the floor and wall meet in my kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living room. It was so bad I would find ants in MY BED and them crawling up my walls. When I voiced this infestation to management and maintenance they did nothing... Not to even come out and try and find a way from the ants coming in.... NEXT: I was without a Microwave for over a month because maintenance didnt feel the need to come and replace my microwave that fully stopped working... The AC always went out and never worked properly as well... Management is awful awful awful. They DO NOT care about resident concerns and issues when it comes to your apartment. The building always smells like weed and they do nothing about that and there is NEVER parking.Moving out: When I was told by Marie Lee and Dianna that when I moved out I would be accessed the water charges and any damages. When I gave them my vacate date within their vacate notice timeframe, they told me that if they get another renter in the apartment by the time we leave and HAND OUR KEYS IN (because once you hand your keys in... You no longer are tied to that apartment) we wouldnt have to pay for the last month on our contract. They told me they would waive that last months rent due to new renters being in the apartment. NOW: Weeks following my move out even though I gave them my move out date knowing I was in contract until May I had a high possiblity at the time where I needed to stay until the contract date- so I called and when I let them know my concern they told me they had already rented my apartment out and that HAD TO MOVE OUT on the date I gave them... They would NOT let me stay to my full contract when I possibly needed to at that time... So when I was told the new renters where moving in and taking over, I had to be out.Marie Lee lied to me because now I get a letter in the mail of a list of fees and charges left and right. They also are charging me for the month of MAY (my last month with them prorated of course) but still charging me even though they said the renters in the apartment and they wouldnt even LET ME STAY TO MY FULL CONTRACT.. BUT still have me pay for a month I am not there for and wasnt even allowed to be.. This company is a disgrace. Unfortunately because its all about money they fail to even meet or follow their own mission statement... Disgusting company and I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Stay far away from PLK if you can and do not make the mistake many many others have including myself signing a lease with this company. Im sure you can find a much better leasing company else where.UPDATE: What management says when I contacted them about this issue... The people that rented your apartment canceled.  You are responsible for rent through the lease end date or until the next person moves in- whichever comes first. So basically even though they were told by someone that wanted to move in and backed out and wouldnt even let me stay to my full contract... Wants to charge me the rent up to my end contract that I was denied to stay.... They acted as though those people had a signed lease when in reality they didnt and refused us to stay in our apartment to our contract date.

My experience at the Latitude at Deerfield Crossing was nothing but positive. Holly was able to help me find the perfect apartment within my budget and move-in time frame. They helped me meet the furniture movers, fix any issues in the apartment very quickly, and the complex looks just like it does in the pictures. I had to move out very suddenly only 2 months after moving in due to a job change. Sandy, and the Latitude Management, were extremely professional, fair and as flexible as possible during the process. They helped with the furniture movers getting access, and even helped me resolve utility billing issues months after I had moved out. I highly recommend this complex due to the supportive, friendly and processional staff working there – from management to maintenance I was very pleased with the responsiveness, services, and professional interactions. Thank you, Latitude, for a very positive, albeit brief, experience.

Everything in the complex is updated and very well built. The amenities are much nicer than the other apartment complexs I visited. The layouts are very well designed, and there are plenty of different options to fit everyones different needs. The price is higher than what I wanted to spend, but it is comparable to everywhere in the Mason area, and is walking distance from the gym I go to, and a lot of restaurants I frequent. It is less than a mile to the entrance to I-71 which makes my daily commute very easy. The staff is very helpful and always responsive. The best thing about Latitude is the atmosphere for pets. There are multiple pet waste stations along the property, and the entire staff loves all pets of the residents. There was even a pet swim day in the pool the day before the closed the pool for the winter which was amazing.

My husband and I moved in to Latitude at the beginning of June 2018. Our experience has been very good so far. The shining light of the company that runs the apartments, is Holly. She is the Assistant Manager, and let me tell you, she is an angel. Upon meeting us when we were first touring the apartments, she gave us her personal cell to get in touch with her if we had any questions. Shes always so prompt in her responses, and is super helpful. For example, one morning, I accidentally left my keys in my husbands gym bag, and he left for work before me. I had my spare car key, but no way to lock our apartment door. I texted Holly, and as soon as she got to the apartment, she went straight to our unit, and locked the door for me.Now, when my husband matched for his Residency, I started looking around apartments in the Cincinnati area, and for some of the apartment complexes near Latitude, they had absolutely terrible reviews. Latitude was only 3 years old, and that was a huge appeal. The apartments are clean, and everything is new. I have not had one incident of a neighbor being too loud, or the walls being so thin that I could hear the neighbor upstairs, everything has been amazing. Also, any time weve needed maintenance done, it was done within that week, and if it wasnt you were given updates on where a part was, or when it would be completed. The indoor and outdoor areas of the apartment complex is absolutely stunning as well.I would 100% say that this place is worth renting, and that the management here has a good head on their shoulders. At the beginning of our rental period, the apartments changed ownership, and that look a little time for them to get their bearings. But the best decision that they made was to keep Holly, because she was the main reason that we chose to live here. One other side note, another huge benefit to living here is you are within 5 minutes of everything you would need. Kroger is 3 minutes away, there is a Crunch fitness thats even closer, all the restaurants you could want, and my husband and Is personal favorite, a Costco right down the street. Not to mention, youre right off of I-71. The location of this apartment is absolutely perfect, and if you dont want to deal with the hassle of Mason-Montgomery road being so busy all the time, you can just take the road behind the apartment called Wilkins, and that will take you right to where you need to go.In the end, this apartment has done my husband and I very well, and we are extremely happy with our choice to stay here.

Nothing but positive remarks. This was my first time renting an apartment and Mike Daniels helped me along every step of the way. All of the anxiety and fears that first-time renting connotes was instantly allayed. He was even kind enough to stay 45 min after the leasing office closed to show me several units, amenities, etc. I know that I asked way too many questions, but Mike was polite, informative, professional, and never came off as pushy/aggressive when we toured. I ultimately found the apartment that I loved and he was able to accommodate my every request from my first visit up until now. I have lived in the Latitude apts for a week. I’m not sure if my upstairs neighbors moved in one day ago but this is where my great apt that I have loved for a week is now my WORST apt! You hear EVERYTHING, EVERY move they make and yes when they FLUSH! The flush was the most disgusting part. I’m so disappointed. It’s sunday so I must wait until tomorrow to speak with someone and I’m not sure if they will make me break my lease or move me to a higher floor. All I can say is everything that is posted about the apts are true with the amnineties but they didn’t invest in noise dampening for the flooring. I was told that the floors were concert and the walls had noise reduction due to the way the apts were constructed. That doesn’t seem true. Just a warning go to the top floor or you will hear EVERYTHING that goes on in you upstairs neighbor apartment.

This place is no longer a luxury apartment its a expensive below average experience. Not recommended any more. I loved the place when the original management owned it but not anymore. Stay away. I wanted to post an update since its been almost two weeks ive had more water come in from above and mold is growing as well as the drywall falling apart.the general manager came bye once in the time said theyd look at it and its been more than a week since then and nothing has happened. Denizen properties and HEATHER KIEFFER (The property manager for Latitude) are some of the most unprofessional, unethical, and flat out rude people you will meet in your life. No, Im not talking about rudest people in just customer service, but the rudest people you will meet period. Let me tell you about my limited and brief experience with this JOKE of a company.I interacted with Heather Kieffer for about five minutes. I went in with my girlfriend in an attempt to resolve a leasing issue, which was an error on THE COMPANYs END. During the entire meeting, Heather Kieffer was condescending, rude, and combative. She is clearly unable to handle her job as a property manager. At one point, I asked a question politely, and she literally put her finger in my face and said Youre not a resident here, so I dont need to talk to you. Yes, and thank God I am not a resident here, and I never will be a resident at any of Denizen properties if they are hiring under-qualified rude representatives to speak with customers. The apartments look nice with some decent amenities, but the management here is absolutely terrible and just one step short of being scam-artists. Heather Kieffer was incredibly uninformed on just about.... everything. Ask her the same question 4 times and she will give you inconsistent answers. Heather Kieffer should not have any job in customer service, or any job where she has to interact with people in general.Disturbed by the encounter, my girlfriend contacted the regional manager Dina Rancourt. Her response back was not quite as rude as Heather Kieffers, but generally pretty unhelpful as well.In summary, Denizen is known for being unprofessional and unhelpful with customers around the area. They will be sweet as a peach up until the point you sign the lease, and then turn into sharks immediately after. They tack on hidden fees and treat their tenants terribly. After my experience here, I am starting to see why they have such high turnover on their tenants.Final warning to all people looking at these apartments. DO NOT LIVE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH RUDENESS, HIDDEN FEES, AND AN UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF.
