I called prior to tell them the refrig was not cooling. Did not fix the refrig. The technician just fixed the ice maker and turned the refrig on and left. the problem was not fixed or resolved. Waiting again for the repairman to return. Deeply disappointed in service
I got there 30 minutes before they closed, And there was one person working. There was a customer he was waiting on when I got in there. And about every five minutes more walked in. They closed at 5 And By 4:50 he finally waited on me. When he turned his attention to me He did a great job and I bought a very expensive lawn mower from him. That people just kept coming and kept coming. I felt really bad for him.
Mike was very knowledgeable about stove repairs. He was very pleasant and friendly (wasnt arrogant like a previous technician we had). He listened to what we told him regarding what our stove wasnt doing and didnt just blow off what we said. Mike is an outstanding employee. He would be a good mentor for other service technicians.
The repair did not complete. The first visit the repair person determined the door switch was not working,. he did not have the part with him.. had to order it.. asked me to install it.. did not enable the dryer to start. Another repair was scheduled - weeks later. The day scheduled for the service call the technician called and said he had a ticket to repair a washer!!!!!!! I did not get the sense that the repair person would be able to fix the dryer 100%, so I cancelled the service call and we went and bought a new dryer from Lowes. I was not pleased with the service call process. the people on the phone did not listen well and it was not a good experience at all.
The service was good it was delivered to the house and it was $30 cheaper than the other place.

Service men arrived during the time they were scheduled and called to let us know they were on the way. They were courteous and checked out the washer and dryer in a timely manner. The only reason I did not give this a 5 star rating is because when I went to wash clothes the next time, the washer would not start for me. I kept getting a message indicating that I needed to choose a language. I could scroll to the correct language, but did not know how to choose it so that the machine would start. I had to call sears report to have a someone help me. As it turned out, all I needed to do was to choose English language and push the signal on/off button. With the other service technicians we have had for the yearly check, the washing machine was always ready to use after they left.
Repair was done in a reasonable amount of time. Technician arrived on time. Had the part with him on the first trip. I am amazed that you can schedule an appointment without ever talking to a human being, but this repair went off without a hitch.
I think your 8-5 schedule sucks! I have to take a day of vacation just because you cant schedule any better than that! If I performed my job like that I wouldnt have one!!I will no longer be buying Sears products due to this issue! Good bye
We were totally happy with the repair and the serviceman. The issue we have is that we received a phone call at 7:30 a.m. with a recorded message saying our serviceman was on the way. To me, that means hell be there in the next 15 minutes or so. He didnt arrive until after 9:00 a.m. We also got an email that morning that said he would be there between 8:45-10:45 which was much more accurate than hes on the way at 7:30 a.m. While I appreciate the narrowing of the window from 8:00 to noon down to 8:45-10:45, the recording shouldnt say hes on the way. It should actually say hell be there between 8:45 and 10:45.
Technician was great and took care of the issues with our Range. Only negative is that when we set up the appt we wanted our other covered appliances checked over and they set up a separate appt for the following week. Tech didnt understand any better than we did why they didnt have him take care of everything on the same day as they had pulled him from out-of-state to work on the range.
DO NOT buy the warranty that Sears offers! After the tech installed the new board in my year old Kenmore Elite refrigerator, I woke up to water all over the floor and everything thawed in the freezer and warm in the fridge. Couldnt get him here again for 3 weeks and 3 weeks after that to install another part. Hired local repair to come out that day, he found the tech had not locked the board into place and it wasnt even hooked to the compressor. Lost over $500 worth of groceries and they only cover up to $300. Waiting for a check from Sears to cover the other repair service...beware!
Thought the total bill was excessively high. I knew the initial service call and diagnosis would be $ 109.00 but an additional $ 250.00 for labor for the 45 minutes that he was here is not right. The repair did NOT require any parts.
My complaint is the time it took to get my 1 year old refrigerator repaired. It stopped working on Oct.28 and a technician could not come until Nov.2, At that time the technician ordered the part needed saying he would return on Nov.9. On that date when he came, he said it was the wrong part and he would have to reorder it and would return on Nov.14. When I called on Nov.14 I was told the part would be delivered on Nov.15 but no one could come until Nov.21. On that date a different technician arrived and completed the job. He was very polite and efficient. I am seriously questioning if I want to buy from Sears in the future.
Very capable courteous serviceman. Got right to the problem and once we ordered the correct part, problem was solved. Initial contact with person on phones assessment of problem was incorrect. Serviceman had a busy day and was running late but he was willing to make our stop rather than have to reschedule. That was much appreciated.
The 2 men came promptly at the designated time. They were courteous, efficient, and very helpful. They did an excellent job of installing our microwave!
Took over two months to make a simple repair to our dryer. I could have done it myself but it would have voided the warranty. People at the store were useless to get anything done. They would give us one number who would tell us to call another number. (Judging by the accent and the foreign language in the background, the call centers were not American.) The repair person said that he came and no one was home. There were four adults in the house. If he had knocked (or actually shown up), someone would have gone to the door. I will never purchase another appliance from Sears again. They gave us a check for $50 for the inconvenience. It cost us more than that going to the laundromat twice a week for a family of six. Ive heard nothing but horror stories. If you have a good experience, go buy yourself a lottery ticket. Rare luck is definitely with you .
The serviceman was very pleasant and got to work right away. Unfortunately, after two visits my ice maker isnt working at all. It hasnt made any ice since he left which was 5 days ago.
Great service. Got it right the first time. Sears needs to hire more like him so I dont have to wait 2 weeks next time.
The repairman came, looked at the steering wheel, saw that it needed to be replaced, and ordered a new steering wheel that will come in the mail.. Thank you for the quick response.
We have always appreciate our Sears services except with our recent repair on 12/1. The serviceman was reluctant to fix our dryer issues and claimed that the noise from our dryer was normal. It turned out that the dryer drum was grinding against the edge hence created that squealing sound, the heating element was broken and the electrical panel was short. The guy kept insisting that the grinding sound was normal until I pressed him to open up the dryer and investigate. Of course, he was not happy but did discover the issues I listed above.
The repairman who serviced the dishwasher was knowledgable, thorough, polite and did a fantastic job! Appreciate the great service!
Very Good. It was raining the day the repairman came and he put booties over his shoes so he wouldnt track each time he came into the house. Very courteous and informative with my questions.
Repair was completed, but went a month without a freezer on a purchase that was less than 6 months old..little frustrating.
My LG washing machine from Sears broke on January 28. I purchased a 5 year protection agreement with the machine. It was not repaired until March 2. I have a family of 5, so it was a huge inconvenience for our family. Sears called to schedule 2 different repair appointments and cancelled them both the day of the repair. We had arranged to come home from work to be there when the repair technician came and he never showed up.

I have told Sears many times that I had washer trouble from November 15th thru March.16th.............no working washer at all from Feb 6th through March 16th. More parts were needed after the Mar 16th repair visit. I was asked to have the technician fix it one more time and then see. I bought a new machine and put the 2 year old Kenmore on the trailer to go to the landfill. But I am honest and sent all the unopened parts back.....1 tub, 1drum,1 gearcase and 1 hub.I feel I was very patient but as I explained to the customer care agents that I have diabetes and I have had a stroke. The Laundromat was too hard for me
The repair was done in an orderly manner to our satisfaction.
The repair tech diagnosed the problem, exchange the part, and tested our machine for functionality perfection, all within one hour! Unheard of performance!!

Felt it should of been fixed first time, but they actually did get it fixed I think....they can come up with the dumbest reasons for why its doing what its doing though?like maybe you clean your dishes to good before putting in dishwasher?
The service man, Mike, was very kind. But to have the belt on a 2014, LG dryer break does not cut it for me. To top it off, no belt on the truck, and it took a week and 1 day to get it! Then I get charged 2 service calls and the cost of the belt for $231.00. I will keep this in mind when purchasing other appliances.
