I have my own kayak and used their shuttle service to get back to my truck. The shuttle was there waiting when I got off the river and Christian made my experience awesome. He was personable, efficient, and had excellent knowledge about the surrounding area and wildlife. This company supports our military both in their hiring practices and in discounts for their services. They are obviously well run from top to bottom. Please don’t hesitate to use any of their services if you’re looking to get out on the water.

This is a great place to bring your family, I love how in touch with nature this place is and there is an area where you can bring a lock and lock it onto a fence to lock in your love its quite a view.

I love this park! Everytime were in town we HAVE to come here! It is stunning! !! It does have easy access for those with limited movement. There is a playground and all sorts of places to explore & walk. I wished I lived closer to it!

Great experience. The company explains your route and answers any and all questions. They truly care about your safety, even making some people test paddle to make sure they got the hang of it. That was very reassuring. A good group of nice people.

Its a of Peace and beauty. I go there for cycling a great route for the Georgia Carolina border lines.

The trip itself was nice, however the shuttle set up took over an hour. Highly recommend you to park a car at the end point, because their $5 per person shuttling services isn’t worth it.

My niece and her awesome might as well say husband had a wedding there it was beautiful first time Ive been hopefully it will not be my last clean comfortable beautiful grounds watch the fog came in over the waters it was just heavenly the place and definitely her wedding everything was spectacular 🙏❤️😘🤗

This is a very beloved place to us. My wedding was in one of the pavilions, its only right that my father-in-law be remembered in the same place. We love the Kayak experience. You can paddle as fast as you want or just gently float. Its a great way to just soothe whatever aches your soul. I recommend getting a book on local birds if you intend on taking it slow. They have incredible songs for spring.

Always love coming here when I am back in town to visit. So many great memories. We always hike down to downtown, grab a bite, and then make our way back. Best time to go is early spring! Not too hot, the bugs arnt out, and most of the flowers are at peak bloom.

Terrible customer service. I rented a kayak and didn’t launch until 3 o’clock by my own choice. I was waiting for my other group. Once we launched we were informed to make it down the canal before 5. Once 5 o’clock hit I had not made it quite down the canal the owner personally called me at 5:07 to inform me that I better start paddling or It would be my fault that he would have to start paying his people over time. Very unprofessional and will not be renting from them again.

Great place with a very professional staff. They provide everything you need to take a trip down the canal. The canel trip is a very easy trip. If you have never kayaked before its a very easy way to get started without worrying about challenging rapids.

We always have a good time kayaking down the river. Just be sure to take some water and snacks. I would also recommend going early, the trip down the river takes about two hours, but I could spend the whole day on the river.

Has an over seven Mile bike trail with great natrual scenery with reasonable bike rental on site. However they should require people with dogs to carry poop scoop gear. They also have kyack rental. I highly recommend bringing the family out.

Love running this trail. Very wide and about 6 miles long. Water fountains are turned off at the moment. And rest rooms at the halfway point are closed.

Kayaking was so fun! You can leisurely go down or race each other :) The staff were all very nice and helpful

Had an awesome time out there. For 7 miles you surrounded by the ambience of nature that seems untouched by modernization for the most part. The waters are calm and the width of the river allows you kayak in your own lane and at your own pace so its not a challenge if you have never sat on a kayak or of the length of it seems to be out of your comfort zone. Theres fun to be had as well of your experienced. The prices are reasonable as well: 20 bucks get a kayak and a you shuttle back to where you parked. Ill be back for sure. Lots of turtles too and Im not exaggerating on that one.

Nice relaxing trip down the canal. Calm waters, about a 2 hour trip. Reasonable price, small fee for shuttle service back to your car if needed. Friendly helpful assistants. Recommend for the whole family.

Funner than you think especially with my girlS

Last time I went, it had just rained. The time before, it was possible to even get in the water in certain spots, and swim through; even sit on some rocks and enjoy the scenery. This last time unfortunately it was impossible, no rocks were even visible on that side. Despite that, theres plenty to do. Its great if you wanna walk, great if you wanna run, great if you wanna rent a kayak and enjoy the water, great if you just feel like exploring the general location. Theres bike rentals as well.One tip: make sure you park on the right side depending on what you wanna do, parking on the wrong side can result in a couple hours of walking.

Super easy to get kayaks or paddle boards rented for a day. Reasonable prices and good equipment. Be sure you have a ride or park a car at END of the trip because they are NOT doing shuttles back to the park/starting point due to COVID-19. Youre going to be stuck.

Would have had a great time, but they gave me a bum kayak. Apparently they knew it was bad. “It shouldn’t have even been out there” the guy said as he hauled me out after capsizing twice one quarter mile from the egress ramp, after slowly taking on water the entire trip.

Fantastic place to take the kids and water loving dogs. Decent pricing on kayak rentals. Plan ahead though, its a popular place and they can run out of kayaks.

Before I bought my kayak, I rented from here all the time. I forgot my paddle at home last time and they spared me one! What awesome customer service!! Always on time to pick up and sometimes they have a sweet doggo in the van with them when they pick you up! What more could you ask for?!

Awesome location and had a great time. Prices during the week are very good and the shuttle is a must. We did a tandem kayak with our 2 wiener dogs and we absolutely loved it. Water was a consistent 55-65° and felt so refreshing. Will be returning for sure.

This area is great for walking, running, canoeing and kayaking; couples, singles or families alike. The area is well kept up and hosts a restaurant as well. The area around the canal is very large especially for those that are looking for a scenic area to run or walk. There is not much more you can ask for!

I wanted to rent a Kayak for the day and while the lady I was speaking to was very polite, the gentleman was very rude. He cut her off mid sentence while she was answering my question and told her she needed to do something else. She immediately ended our conversation and I went to Outdoor Augusta instead.

I always have a great time renting kayaks here. Super convenient to launch and super friendly folks. Be aware that the shuttle at the endpoint picks people up every 30 minutes, so you may or may not have to wait long once you get to the docking area at the end.

We went kayaking here a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. We had never been kayaking before but with the help of everybody working at the Pavilion we were on our way no problem. The experience was relaxing and I would love to get back out on the water soon. The double kayak is the way to go if you are going with somebody since it is much cheaper.

What a great family outing they gave us! The rates are reasonable, the instructions understandable, they set you up for a great time. At the end of the trip they were waiting to pick us up as promised and were very friendly. This is age appropriate for just about anyone, they provide life jackets, kayak, bottled water, and a shuttle back to your car. The rapids were relaxing and we cant wait to do it again.

This is a great place to rent and travel down the canal. It just a 20-30 dollar rental. Just enjoy nature. There are a lot of turtles on the route.

We absolutely love walking around the rapids. The trails are fantastic, its super clean and restrooms are too, and plenty of kayak, bike, and canoe rentals. You can also rent the pavilions. I love running here too. They have the distance for you posted on a sign if youre training, 5 laps is a 5k which is nice!
