I worked with Roehl for about 18 months. I went through the get your CDL program! I can safely say this is one of the best decision Ive ever made! They are honest, they will teach you a lot if you want to learn and for the experience you get through them you will get decent pay!! You guys at Roehl please keep up the good work!

Roehl trucking company is a great place to work, the instructors are amazing, friendly, I am very delighted how they explain and help you in the process to help you to get your CDL, or if you already have your CDL you should try to work for them, not other trucking company out there has what roehl offers and care for its workers

I have been with the company over 28 years since 1992. I am currently on the Kraft Heinz dedicated with predictable home time. The company has treated me like gold and I hope to retire with them. They hold safety as their cornerstone value which is why I was able to achieve over 3 million safe miles and driver of the year in 2019.

Worked here for 5 years. Its not a bad place to get experience. Dont really care for the way the pay scale is set up, and people with 6 months of experience shouldnt be training anyone. I can say that they usually got me home within a reasonable amount of time. Though, one year I was trying to get home for Christmas, and was put on a multi stop load with a drop near the white house. Almost got fired over that one. Honestly there are better options for experienced drivers, but you could do worse if youre new.

Do not go to Marshfield Wisconsin location for training, some not all of the trainers there are well keep it rated PG very rude. I felt like I was discriminated against because I looked Young. Seems that the over weight and African-American got the most respect. For a example I asked one of the trainers to check my log books and he said no! Come see me tomorrow and Ill see if theyre correct. Nother example one of them complained about trash on the ground that the trainers put it there and smoking flicking the buts on the ground.

Once truck 1416 for a year now 985 as an owner operator signing off to become full time dad of my three wonderful children in Bentonville Ar. I am very proud of an incredible company that treated me well. I would highly recommend them. Rick Roehl is an incredible driver and owner of an elite team of professional drivers. If I could get a local position I would run for them until I retire. That would be a dream to me. Leaving this company is like losing one of my limbs. I will never forget working for a company that put drivers above themselves. I referred many to Roehl and will continue to do so. If your looking to become a driver choose Roehl. The safe 7 is the best explanation of a culture devoted on the foundational cornerstone of safe driving. Along side it comes integrity and honesty towards customers and us drivers. Excellent staff support night and day. Preplans ahead of schedule and excellent planning overall. Keep up the good work at TeamRoehl. Driver code linsa.

I’ve had close calls with two of your drivers all in the same day. Please teach your drivers not to panic when they miss an exit/turn. Also about six months ago I had a driver of yours try to pass me using an exit ramp. Poor behavior as “professional” drivers I think. We all make mistakes but some things are just plain irresponsible.

Been driving for Roehl for about 7 months now. Went through the GYCDL program. My instructor Terry Nelson was brilliant, he believed in me when I doubted myself. My driver trainer Ben Cafaro, 20 year vet, amazing driver. They thought me everything I know and prepared me for success. If I could go back and redo everything all over again, I would have done it just the way it was. Great company to work for, and grow as a driver. Equipment is basically all brand new, maintenance staff are some of the finest in the industry. My fleet manager keeps me busy. I do my job to the company standards and I never have anyone call me and tell me how to do my job. 2 quarters in a row I’ve been getting pay increases due to my productivity (thanks to my fleet manager) and fuel efficiency also thanks to my 2020 truck. I really can’t find much to complain here. I’m a product of this company, things I’ve learned here has changed my life and for that, I’m forever grateful.

Its a starter company. If youre experienced and want to run OTR be ready to give up 20 hours easy a week. One hour pretrips. One hour to check in/out with customers. Must stop every 2.5 hours for vehicle inspection. Only want to pay for driving. If youre stuck at a customers for more than 10 hours no detention. Seriously?!?!? How can you make money with these kind of policies? They dont want employees they want slaves.

I worked here a few years back, had a rough start but it was my first driving job, but once I got the hang of it and a good fleet manager the job got easier. Just like any other job you take on, you get out of it what you put into it, the only reason I left was I was missing everything and every game my son was playing and doing in middle school. I live in Springfield MO and thats where the headquarters for Prime is and after seeing the morons they hire I wouldnt work for anyone else but Roehl!!!

I was a recruiter there and it was very difficult to hire drivers. They don’t follow their own guidelines, management picks and chooses which drivers are qualified which hurts your numbers/goal. There’s no help offered from management when you’re struggling, just off to the chopping block. Was let go right before Christmas! This company has a good reputation in the industry, not sure how considering I have driver recruiter for 2 other companies with no issues until working at Roehl. If they don’t like you, you won’t be there long!

From things Ive heard from friends who worked for them (5 people). They owe everyone who I know whos worked for them money. I will NEVER work for them. This company is a joke.

Drivers who havent worked elsewhere wont appreciate this company. Hometime is excellent, I was out 11 off 3, occasionally opting to stay out 14 to be off 4. Most companies are 14-21 for 2 days, barely. Fleet managers have to spend a week with a driver-trainer. Living in a truck. Its not quite the same but they do appreciate what we have to contend with better than some college kid whos never left home.

I really enjoyed the Company, except the long time out. When they say home on weekend. They mean about 36 hrs. I know that sitting still doesnt make them money or the driver. They talk about family life, But if you are home for 36 hrs you might have 3 hours to be with the family. The rest of the time Your prepping for the road. And you cant plan an appointments cause you dont know if your going to be close to be able to make the appointment. But I like the company and if I was able to drive I would consider calling them back up to go to work. So if anyone wants a South East area they are the ones to go too.

This company is great to work for if youre willing to work. Most people like to complain about one thing over and over and fail to realize that they are letting one bad experience ruin their time. If you are continuously having problems with one fleet manager ask for a new one... its that simple people. This company is considerate as a whole but you have to understand that not everyone deserves to be doing the job that they do. If you dont care about what youre doing then its time to find something else to do. Just remember; your experience is what you make it.

Its been okay. First started reefer and at first it was decent . Had a couple good runs out west that paid good bucks but out east it was tons of regional stuff. Alot of little chores being a national driver. Switched to dry van, which seemed promising at first. Alot of drop and hooks . They dropped me down from 51cpm to 47cpm which i didnt care bc i just wanted miles. Average 2200 a week.... tons of trailer moves (100miles) tons of live loads and unload in one day. Alot of disregard for your time here. Getting stuff done and fast doesnt matter here, if you do get stuff done fast they will likely use you for a short haul because they can count on you to get it done quick but ultimately itll hurt you . They do hometime by the hours not days. If you stay out 20 days you still get 3am days off. Say you start your day at 2am get to the terminal at 11am and clean your truck out and scan all your paperwork say you end your shift at 1pm that day friday . You will be expected back on monday at 1pm....... Roehl is a great place, its not a bad company, they have amazing equipment and an amazing maintenance setup that works. G.i aprenteship program is great for vets and the woman in charge of it is passionate and amazing. What i explained above is the case only 40 percent of the time but its a reality that must be taken into consideration. And i am just expressing my frustrations wince ive been here. Best way to discribe roehl is like a complicated marriage haha. Best improvements i think would be for starters the trucker pc, more proactive individuals in the customer service section and planning section. There is a lack of communication going on daily and it hurts the drivers and their checks tremendously. Attention to detail should be harped on. Just trying to hang in here, tired of changing companies. Give roehl a try.
