Went in to get an at home haircut fixed and I love what they did to it! Very friendly, I would definitely make the 3-hour trip back here!

Haircut was superb. Its been a long time since Ive been to a professional barber, so I was a bit nervous. The staff was very nice and gave great suggestions. In the end, I left satisfied with the service and my haircut.

Went there to get a haircut today and there was only 2 people ahead of me. Fine. But the guy before me was in and out. I waited 40 mins!! The lady that cut my hair made me feel as if I was interrupting her day by asking to get a haircut. Totally did not interact with me like all the other cost cutters stylist Ive been to in Wausau. She also got done with the customer before me and I asked if she was ready for me. Told me no she still needed to clean her station. Cool...well she did that then went into the back room and i sat waited for another 10 or 15 mins waiting for her to come back out. The other stylist had to go in the back room to see what she was doing, while leaving the client she was cutting his hair. Totally unprofessional on the part of the lady cutting my hair. I will never return here. Just upset on how long I had to wait and how unprofessional the lady was and made me feel unappreciated that I was there. I usually tip really well ($10-15) at cost cutters but I did not leave a tip at all because of her unprofessionalism.

I got both of my grandsons hair cut today. They were great with both boys.

Great Service there for a low cost

Asked for hair cut. Showed her a picture but the lady kept pushing for a trim. You cant even tell my hair was cut. Wont go there again. I came in for a cut not just a trim. Will go somewhere else.

The patience of the women who cut my 3 year olds hair was amazing. Hes terrified of haircuts and she had him giggling.

Great style for a wedding

Went in for a Shampoo and Style from Maggie. Horrible! This woman took over 2 hours to shampoo and curl my hair. I just asked for quick curls, nothing complicated. She also used way too much product. She was trying out a new Straitener to put curls in not only was it extremely time consuming it was ripping my hair out! I had to ask her multiple times not to pull so hard and maybe use a traditional curling iron. Curls were all over the place, very inconsistent. Then she took a brush to my head to loosen the curls. She couldnt get it through. I told her forget it and I just wanted to pay and get the hell out of there! I immediately went home and washed my hair out. I have no idea what she put in it, as she didnt tell me, but it was so sticky. The management should definitely consider if the woman is qualified because she clearly had no idea what she was doing and was trying to talk baby talk to another stylist. I could tell she was as annoyed as I was!

Treated very well for being a first time customer at this establishment. Will be back as a return, possibly a repeat customer.

Polite, friendly, felt like family!

Went in due to fact that our normal place was closed. Took forever gave a heads up to the stylist that my daughter has a sensory process disorder. That hair will bug her. She kept making horrible comments to my kid, my favorites were honey how old are you? My child says 8. Well, you need to act like a 8 year old. Didnt seem to understand how to do layers??? But then my all time favorite Ive been doing this for 36 years...Ive never had a child like this. Yeah you said that. After my husband and I told her to stop, that we werent going to tolerate that. My daughter now looks like she has a mullet. Please maybe have a special training course for your employees who harrassed my child or other children of special needs. This was the most unpleasant experience ever...

No masks & you asked the customer to remove their mask so you can cut around their ears? Why? If you can’t follow a simple mask protocol I also assume you aren’t washing your hands or cleaning the salon!!

They cut 7.5 inches off my hair. Chopped it completely straight across when I asked for the v hair style. And it was horribly uneven. I have never cried so hard about something like this. It was embarrassing to the point of me wanting to call into work so that I wouldnt have to face people. $23 later & no Money back just wed love to fix it for you. Yeah well Id love if you didnt just cut off all my hair and make me look like a 3 year old got ahold of a scissors on my head! It took me forever to grow my hair out. Thanks alot. Will not ever be going back to this place after they fix it. Thanks for ruining my self esteem that much more.

Horrible experience. My hair was cut about 3 inches shorter than what I requested and it is substantially longer on one side. I even showed her a picture and described in detail what I wanted.My son also had a bad cut there too...uneven edges and a big tuft of hair cut straight across the upper/middle of his forehead. I guess it was supposed to be bangs but whatever it was it did not look right.I guess I should have known not to come to a discount hair salon but I honestly didnt think they would do this bad of a job. I normally dont write reviews, especially bad ones, but I had to for this experience because it was substantially terrible. I wish I didnt have to give it one star in order to submit this review...it deserves zero.

Walked in. Wanted Sara to cut my hair. But She was leaving after she finished the customer she was with. ‘family emergency’ I guess her kid threw up at school.I knew I should have just left.But I waited. Ended up with some old bull. She smelled like smoke bad, and was mouth- breathing on me. Haircut sucked. Crooked in the back, and not evenly clipped, because they use these half dead battery operated clippers. No offer to put product in it, no offer to have me look at it with hand-mirror. Just a really sad waste of $14.00. turns out she was having a nicotine attack, before I got to my truck she was already at the back door firing one up 🚬. Thats nasty😒. I will never come back in here. I had to go home and fix it myself. thanks for nothing.

Went in to do my normal haircut, was told She didnt have time. Mind you, this was when they just opened and NO ONE else was in the salon. Lost a customer. Also, the fact staff can look up your number and call you off the clock is freaking creepy. Bye Cost Cutters.
