Ian was the Tech who, as a time offer, told me how to move my Photos off my phone to a Computer. It had been so long since I had done something like that. At my age 70 he was absolutely professional and exact in his words. Thanks for your patience and your full integrity in the way that you handled this.
Ian worked on our laptop, replacing hard drive, and cleaned and uncluttered. Took the time to answer all questions and actually show us how to do things we had questions about. He is awesome.
Great tech support! Friendly and priced well!
My computer needed a new SSD to replace the original hard drive. Ian was wonderful. So patient with this senior citizen. I will return when I need more computer support.
These people are real pros. They helped me out when I was in a bind. You can trust them to get your machine back in action in a timely fashion.I had a MacBook Pro crash, and they had me bring it in. They diagnosed a bad HDD, I found a deal on a new SSD, and I put it in myself. They ran a data recovery on the old drive, and walked me through several questions that I had about getting the data back. They took their time to make sure that everything ended up running smoothly. This included repeated calls and visits to their office, which were on-the-house.If youre computer crashes, dont hesitate. Go to 906!
Two thumbs up! When I moved, their service was not offered at my new location and I was unable to transfer my account. After I cancelled with them, the gentleman still spent a few extra moments to find out which company I would be able to transfer to. He was very friendly and surprisingly went above and beyond! Only regret is that I did not remember his name.
906 Technologies has been our go to company for all our computer needs for our business for years. We recently had them redesign our website. I cannot express how easy they made it for us and what an amazing job they did. Kevin and Pat went above and beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend 906 Technologies! Thank you on a job well done!
Do yourself a favor and avoid this business at all costs. Please allow me to explain why...After spending over $8,000 on a new business phone system and its installation with 906 Technologies, the lack of customer service has been nothing short of mind-bendingly poor. One and a half trouble-free years after their installation, one of the business phones became unresponsive (unable to make or receive calls), and we contacted 906 Technologies to make a service call for the repair/reprogramming of the said phone and some additional orientation of how the phone system worked for new/future employees. (It should be noted that Troy, the gentleman who installed our system, was friendly and helpful)However, instead of happily making an appointment to take our money and satisfy a loyal customer, they proceeded to explain that since we did not purchase a service contract, they would not come to our location without one...ever. Keep in mind that this contract would have cost us an additional $150-$200/month (or and additional $1,800-$2,400 every year!) on a phone system we already paid them over $8,000 for.I spoke with one of the owners of 906 Technologies, Joe, who listened to my reasoning that we are already customers; customers who need assistance with a product that was both purchased and installed by his company. But instead of offering to assist, he deferred and gave the excuse that hed need to speak with his business partners about allowing a technician to come to our location without the previously mentioned service contract. Two weeks later, I have not heard back from Joe or anyone else from 906 Technologies, despite calling him and leaving a message requesting a courtesy call back.I then contacted the phone system manufacturer and explained my situation. They tried to contact Joe at 906 Technologies. They too did not hear back from them.Fortunately, the phone system manufacture linked us up with another local, U.P., sales and service provider to assist us (Gotech IT of Norway Michigan), and they gladly assisted us and have earned our business going forward. As for 906 Technologies? As I started with, unless you enjoy being frustrated with terrible customer service, do yourself a favor and avoid this business at all costs. I know we will.
In years past Ive had outstanding computer repair service from 906 technologies for myself and the business I work for, but I will not use them again.Initially, I had 2 good conversations with 2 different employees who both assured they would take a good look at my computer and likely get it back to me by Friday. At least, I would get a call Friday.I was concerned when I realized there had been no communication between these employees. I had work to do on the laptop over the weekend which I expressed.Friday came and went. Monday came. No call. I called and expressed my frustration. I was promised a return call Monday. That never happened. Tuesday morning I did receive a call that they had scanned my computer and tested the hardrive to find no issues. Thats all. They ran some tests, found nothing, but couldnt get my computer back to me in the time frame they said they would, and they resolved nothing. But the cherry on top was the smug attitude I received from the front desk person this morning. It was unprofessional at best. I do not recommend using this company. Skills and quality of service are lacking when it comes to computer repair.
Super helpful in a time of need.
These guys really do it all! From spot-on website design and development to IT assistance and everything in between, 906 Technologies if your one stop shop to keep the digital back end of your business running smoothly.
In one word...Outstanding. They are right instep with the needs of my organization. They never fail to meet a deadline and always exceed my expectations.
Very friendly staff that clearly are computer doctors.
Purchased computers and used 906 service for many years. Always been pleased with their service, pleasant staff. They are very busy, but have never been disappointed with any of my computer services.
906 saved us thousands of dollars and delivered a high quality, customized site on a very tight deadline. Excellent customer service, flexible and friendly. Couldn’t have been more pleased with this local company.
Called them as our company was having internet issues, after Charter replaced their modem 906 was suppose to get us up and running. They told us our modem was bad to replace it and they stated they would not be back to help us. Poor customer service and just leave our business crippled.
Would give zero stars if I could. Yes, this is one of those reviews. Went to this business to fix a broken screen, filled out paper work with contact info and spoke to whoever was managing the front desk and was told I’d be getting a call within 3-4 days but never heard back. Called a week later to be told that the part was never ordered and there was no record of me ever being there and am still waiting to here back from customer service almost another week later about their poor service. I would STRONGLY recommend people to avoid this business.
Its fast and reliable internet
Highly competent, careful, thorough, pleasant and experienced group. Its a busy place, but if your problem is urgent they respond promptly. Ive used them several times over the past 4-5 years and they are able to keep me and my various devices out of trouble as well as - recently - reviving the dead. The techs and owner are always willing to listen and counsel; and theyve not pushed any option or ittem. Im really happy with their service and skills.
Great service on computer issue I was having and upgrade on hardware.
Freindly staff aweoms place
Told me screen repairs take an hour, however, three hours passed, the store closed, and now Im left without my phone all weekend. Very poor service. DO NOT RECOMMEND
906 serviced a cell phone of mine that wasn’t charging. They checked the charging port and noted that it had pocket lint in it. They could have been dishonest and charged me for unnecessary repairs. They also performed a data transfer for me on a malfunctioning laptop at 1/3 of the cost of Best Buy’s Geek Squad. I would recommend their service to anyone!
I cant think of a time I ever had a computer problem that I personally couldnt fix and started using a 486 in 89. Well I had the prohibitory screen of death on my mid-2012 Macbook and nothing I found on the internet solved the problem. I took it to 906 and Marcus was amazing in help fix the problem. He was willing to talk to me whenever I called for an update and was always pleasant and courteous. Great experience and very affordable. Would go back in a heartbeat.
Ive had the opportunity to work with 906 both personally & professionally and Ive always been pleased with the outcome. Knowledgable and courteous staff.
NOTE: This is a review of their device repair services, not their website services of which I am a happy customer. If i could leave two separate reviews I would, instead i have to split the difference and give 2 stars based on what would be a 4 star review for their web services, and a 0 star (if possible) review of their device repair services.Brought in an iPad for a tiny screen crack, not even on the main part of the screen, just in the screen bezel. Other than that, ipad worked fully. This was a basically brand new iPad, purchased in 2018 (6th generation iPad) with a crack in the corner that impacted nothing. It took 906Tech 4 months and multiple attempts to fix this and the issues they created along the wayFirst they repaired it and the home button did not adhere properly so when pressed it slipped under the screen like it wasnt attached to anything, just loose in the iPad. This was pickup attempt #1.While trying to fix that they damaged the board in the iPad and had to send it off for micro soldering repair to another company which took a few weeks. I went to pickup the device and the home button still did not adhere correctly and had the same issue as before, so they had to re-open it to fix it. This was pickup attempt #2Brought me in to see it and the the iPad wasnt sealed properly, there was a huge gap on one side. This was pickup attempt #3They repaired that but then the digitizer on the screen didnt work the next time I was brought in to pickup the device and they had to order a new screen and replace it again. This was pickup attempt #4.Finally, they got everything working and I was able to pick it up months after I dropped it off. Without its original home button however, so now TouchID will never work on this device.Oh and we have to pay for all of their screw ups along the way, so their original quote to repair the screen for $175 has ballooned to over $300 on a device that costs $459 and was basically brand new, and fully functioning when we brought it into them.0/10, will not bring them a device again. Id sooner try doing the repair myself than bring it to them. We can get better faster service directly from Apple and anyone with an Apple device. Id recommend trying that first, and only use 906Tech as a last resort.FYI, Best Buy can do Apple repairs now too and they can actually use genuine Apple parts which 906Tech does not.
I highly recommend 906 technologies whether it is for business or personal repairs/updates. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and go out of their way to help you.
Went into store got cracked screen fixed, told them my camera was also broken. They said it was fixed and was not. Could hear it physically moving inside and could see the camera moving when trying to take pictures. They knowingly gave it back to me this way. Shame they didnt do the best they could. Would not recommend. Go to a actual cell phone company instead that wont give you back a broken phone
We recently had some work done at our businesses and 906 Technology was very efficient and timely in getting the job done! Sean Leahy Broker / Co-Owner Select Realty
Great Techs and service for phone and tablet repair
I had come in with a broken screen and the receptionist said that they were able to fix it. The first red flag went up when they had me sign a waiver saying as soon as they open the phone any insurance on it is void. I told them fix it anyway thinking it might just be my own nerves. When I come back to pick it up they had me wait 30 minutes saying that they were “finishing it up”. Then the manager comes out. He tells me that while trying to replace my phone they had broken the home button. They offered to remburse me the money for a new phone but kept my old phone. Maybe it’s just me being over protective of my information but them keeping it still makes me very nervous. During this whole thing they also “required” all of my passwords as well. Including the passcode for the phone and to my Apple ID. Over all the place is very sketchy and I would never trust them with another piece of technology ever.
I gave them my phone in January due to what I thought was a faulty battery, they said it would be done in 5 days and they would phone me so I could come collect it. 2 weeks go by and no phone call so I phone them and they tell me its done, so I ask them does it turn on and they reply saying it does. I go collect the phone which is an hour away I take it home and it doesent turn on. I phone them again saying that it doesent work so they say I can bring it back in. I soon return the phone and they said there technican will take a look at it and they will phone me back to let me know when its done. 3 weeks go past and still no call so I phone them and all they said is sorry for the miscommunication your phone is done. I go to collect my phone and I take it out the brown envelope they gave me and the whole front of my phone is destroyed. All the paint under the screen is peeled off, and they have somehow tried to glue it back. So I ask them what have they done to my phone and they said they had to replace the charging port and my phone will look like this. I tell them this is not good enough so they said they will order the replacement parts and will let me know when its ready. 2 more weeks have gone by and I still havent heard from them. I want my money back. They also for some reason need my password to replace a battery and the charging port which I did not give them as it was not needed. I would highly recommend not going to this business and Imvery surprised that they still have customers. I also believe that all the 5 star reviews for this company are fake.
Turn a old cracked screen into a new phone! awesome i would pay it again .
They destroyed my new iPhone 7 Plus and didn’t do a thing about it. I would not waste my time here ever again and would definitely not recommend it to anyone.
No longer offer mobile device repair, otherwise I have had little interaction with them
Took in my Samsung Galaxy S8+ to get the charging port fixed. They fixed that and it works great but ever since, my service has completely stopped working. Brought it back, they kept it for nearly 28 hours so I was without a phone overnight, they said all of the antennas inside looked good and theres nothing else they could do. They told me maybe it was the sim card. Two sim cards later and the same issue. Zero service. Also tested my sim card in someone elses phone, it worked perfectly fine.Nobody at 906 or AT&T could seem to figure this issue out. Ive tried network resets and everything. My only option now is to pay a $100-$200 deductible for a replacement. My reception was always great before taking it in to 906 for the charging port issue. Ever since, Ive been missing critical calls and text messages, and now I could be out up to $260 because nobody knows where the issue persists.I wont be back.
The young man who does smartphone repair at 906 is extremely helpful. Fast service, always willing to do extra, 906 is great.
I called them on 08/28/2015 approx. 4:30pm. The lady on the phone was very rude to me. She told me they did have a screen for my phone and then hung up on me when I was in the middle of my question. Im very upset. I will NOT! be using this company for my phones or any other devices I have.
This company has not updated the website which it says is located in a building they no longer are at. So how can anyone trust a tech to them when they cant even fix their web page. FAIL!!!! Went else where along with the other 5 in my family who have tried to find them as well.
Never visited this business.
