Cedarville Apartments: One of the nicer complexes in town. Snow removal is always well done and maintenance is performed immediately. Neighbors are quiet and management does a great job of screening new tenants. I only left after 5 years because I bought a house.

Very good wings but I do suggest they offer their barbecue sauces as a dipping sauce

Lived in the Lincoln ave apartments. They were a little pricey for what you got, and the electric bill for heat absolutely eviscerated my budget. The maintenance was generally responsive to service requests, but I still had issues with my front door doorknob freezing up. When I moved in the kitchen also wasnt up to code, which fits most rental properties. The plowing crew was top-notch, however, and they kept the parking spots cleared and in tip-top shape.

The office staff was great to work with, with me and all my roommates. They have always been more than willing to assist me with all my questions. The maintenance staff is also very friendly and timely with fixing things. Renting from Curran and Co. has all around been a wonderful experience!

I love this company. If I chose to stay in Marquette after graduation, I would stay with Curran & Company. They always fixed everything on a timely manner. When I was opening the medicine cabinet, it just fell off of the wall. I scheduled a maintenance request and the next day, came and installed a brand new medicine cabinet, with no charge. When the maintenance crew, come in and fix something in my apartment and Im not there. I always find a nice letter from them and candy. Exceptional rental company. Only the best!

I have been renting from Curran & Company for 4 years. I have rented at 2 locations with them and both have been great! Any maintenance has been taken care of quickly and professionally. I have a wonderful home and great neighbors! The snow removal is WONDERFUL!

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR IT MIGHT COME TRUE:This pretty much says it all about Curran & Company Hillside Apartments. The office personal are helpful & friendly when u are checking out the apartments & when doing the lease agreement. After u sign the lease u are on your own. This all about the money.The building hallways & stairs, & carpet hardly got clean. One winter was salt was all over carpet it got tracked up to 2nd & 3rd. floors. After called office about it & after 2 weeks, was informed we clean it ever week. After called about a week they show up & clean. The building doesn’t get clean for weeks at time. The maintenance personnel do a good job with repairs & with snow removal.Nickel & dime u under the lease. Let’s not forget when they updated their cable they added $60 cable package on top of your rent payment. When we lived at the place we had no choice if we want it or not. Management raises the cost of rent without letting the tenant know till u receive your lease, u get 60 days to sign lease, not much time. When moving out, take pictures of ever thing so u have documents, to cover yourself. Would not recommend, & the famous saying from them is “If u don’t like it u can move.”

I have lived in my Curran Apartments unit on Cedarville Drive for just over a year and Im quite happy living here.Ive had no major problems whatsoever.A couple minor issues were dealt with immediately by friendly and courteous maintenance staff in a professional manner.I greatly appreciate that all of my neighbors have been very quiet and very respectful of my privacy.I do my utmost to reciprocate.If peace and quiet is important to someone needing to rent in Marquette, they should definitely consider living here.The grounds and snowplow crews do an excellent job of keeping the grounds well groomed and the roads and parking areas clear of snow.These hardworking workers are very professional.The office staff are courteous and professional and, like the maintenance crew, respond quickly to my requests.I highly recommend Curran Apartments to anyone needing rental accommodations in Marquette.

One of the best places I have lived. Moved in to Wedgewood when it was brand new and stayed there for over 5 years. The Townhomes are quiet and very nice. The staff was always accommodating and courteous. Had no issues with maintenance and they always took care of things within a day. My Fiance worked Night Shift and I work day shift and neither of us had issues with being able to sleep. Recommend Wedgewood to anyone looking for an upscale, affordable place to live. Nothing but good things to say. In unit laundry and Internet/TV is a huge plus.

Ive been renting from Curran for about 2.5 years, and overall it has been a very good experience. There are definitely some properties that are built more cheaply than others, but they are new, clean and generally quiet. Maintenance issues are typically resolved quickly, rental agreements are fair, and the grounds are very well maintained. I love that the grounds crew works around our crew instead of forcing cars out at 9am if theres more than an inch of snow...this is Marquette, anyway. The staff works hard to put on community events, and several of the staff members live in Curran properties. Like any landlord, not everything is perfect, but overall I have had a good experience living here the past couple years.

Ive been renting from Curran and Company for about 7 months now. I must say I do enjoy renting from them. Though it hasnt been long, when my boyfriend and I decided we wanted to live together they were extremely helpful in finding us the perfect place! Though a little disappointed that someone had taken the apartment we wanted a few days before we put down the cash for it. It all worked out! The building is very quiet and those we have encountered in our building have been very nice.At my Lincoln avenue apartment, whenever I had a maintenance issue it was always fixed right away! The staff is extremely pleasant to deal with, and again really nice. And for you dog lovers, if you go to Curran and Company to pay your rent, sometimes you get to play with the dogs.

Had appointment to sign lease, applications already filled out online. Morning of appointment received call saying that they leased it to someone else. Would have been nice to have been told to come in quicker to sign the lease so that we wouldnt lose the place without warning.

I rented for 3 years with a dog and usually you never get your deposit back but I got mine. The staff are very accommodating and helpful with tight situations.

I moved into Curran and Company Hillside building in the fall of 2015. They were able to accommodate everything I asked for in a short period of time before moving in. Their service is great. The roads and parking are cleared EARLY and often after every storm. I once had to put it a request for service due to a cold room. The same day they were out and had the problem resolved quickly. They make rent payments easy through their website, and even send reminders via email. I would highly recommend their buildings - they are clean, well kept, and well maintained. All you could ask for as a renter.

I love living at Cedarville. The staff is really helpful and enjoyable to be around . They’ve got reasonable rates and are very fair .

My family and I had a great experience living in the Streamside Townhomes. Staff is very friendly, the property is very well maintained, and any maintenance requests were taken care of right away. They also host a lot of fun events to get all the neighbors together. Great place to live!

In researching comparable apartments in Marquette, the negatives far outweigh the positives while renting from this company. Boasting to be newer than other apartment complexes, the finishes and cabinetry are low end and builder grade. The location currently is remote with no shops or stores in walking distance unless youre in for a good 20-30 minute walk.I highly recommend looking at comparable apartments in Marquette. Negaunee would also be another great option if you dont mind not being able to walk to shops. Youd save a lot of money and probably get better customer service. Im sure there are a lot of folks who enjoy this type of living, but I found another apartment with a lot more to offer!

I presently rent from this company and I will not be doing it again. They are extremely unprofessional. I rent a unit that has a shared parking lot, which constantly gets full by people who are not tenants. I and other tenants have called multiple about this. More often than not the problem is not addressed and even ignored. Due to this I have stopped trying. I am writing this review because I came home to find them towing my car. Since it was parked in an illegal spot due to there not being any available. When I called they were not accommodating and they wouldnt give me a number to call for towing. Its obvious that their tenants are only a check. I should have listened to previous tenats about their service. If you are looking for a quality landlord then Curran & Company is not it.

Ive been renting from them for 15 months. Im a model tenant so I rarely hear from them. Place is decent for the price and location. Decent people to communicate with. Ive had some issues and they have attempted to remedy the situations although they werent taken care of as appropriately as I wouldve liked. We had our basement flood and ruin all of our stuff in storage and subsequently had a mold issue and they attempted to remove the mold but you can still smell it in the house. Carpets were filthy when I moved in and I had paid a large cleaning deposit prior to move in and they only refunded me the cost of the shampooer I had to rent to clean before I could move in. Better than nothing as far as landlords go but not amazing. I give them a C+. Ive had worse landlords but also better. As long as you pay your rent on time theyre decent.

I have been living at Cedarville for over 2 yrs. I have never had any maintenance problems on anything. I love the open concept living space! The grounds are very well maintained. In the winter the rds are always plowed in the early a.m.. I have a beautiful view from my balcony. Its very quite and peaceful. Its centrally located! The Staff and Owners are always friendly and professional! I love living here!

Cedarville Townhomes has been a decent place to live. I got married after paying my down to move in. Rather than breaking the lease, I moved in and was forthright about the marriage. Cedarville blackballed me to an out of state property today. I have always paid rent on time or early and have behaved properly to these people. Their behavior today was immoral. They were wanting me to renew and then blackballed me in an out of state move???!! #Pure Michigan Evil.

Great place! Very reasonably priced, the staff is friendly, and the snow is plowed as fast as it comes down.

My girlfriend and I have been renting from them for five years now. We have been good tenants and paid our rent on time. Over the years we have been looking for a home of our own and recently we found one that we both love and could afford. When trying to move out of our apartment Curran charged us almost $900 to break our lease: and even though we broke our lease and they have since put our apartment up for rent we are still having to pay rent until our lease is up in February. They took our keys so we don’t have any acces to the rental until and now will be charging us $60 more a month for tv and internet (which we never asked for) and are not able to use. So on top of paying our monthly mortgage and utilities we now have to pay almost $1000 for a rental unit we can’t use or access. Not the quality I would have expected from such a community wide company.

Construction starts at 8:00am. They said that’s our business hours so I guess were all up now.

Lots of surprise fees and payments for nothing. Hard to pay rent without issue. Expensive repairs. Cheap fixes.
