Wasley, owner of WM Painting prepared a detailed proposal for painting our17 room victorian era (1885) house and adjacent barn.The property had not been painted for 25 years. The four workers on the painting crew were meticulous and neat. The buildings were washed, scraped, and under and top coats of paint applied. I cannot recommend this company enough! From the start, I was surprised at the thorough level of communication and responsiveness. I was moving into a new home, had a very tight time frame with which to work and they were able to accommodate me quickly. The level of professionalism and craftsmanship exceeded my expectations. I was hesitant to have kitchen cabinets painted as I was told that many painters do not do this properly. Not the case with WM’s. They transformed my kitchen with the incredible paint job and replacement of cabinet hardware. In addition they did custom trim work in my LR/DR. Looks like a completely different home. I have used WM Painting a few times now and their work is always done to a very high standard. Attention to detail is great, and if you are particular about the quality of work that you have done, they will not disappoint.Other painting companies may sometimes quote a lower price - my advice is to get details about what work is actually being quoted. I received a quote for an exterior paint job from a competitor that was lower than WM. The reason was because the competitor was going to do only very minor prep work with a single coat of paint. The WM quote was to fully scrape and prep the exterior, followed by priming and two coats of paint. If I had chosen the cheaper option, I would have be re-painting the house again in a couple years rather than 10. That cheaper option would have ended up being significantly more expensive.When it comes to having work done around your house, its always cheaper in the long-run to have the job done properly the first time.I saw some of WMs work prior to using them, so I was confident the job would be done correctly. After using them three times now, I can say that they have never disappointed. They consistently do high quality work. I would use them again and recommend them to anybody I know.
