I recently purchased an L shaped desk. After spending and hour and half assembling it, I realized it was missing one single piece. I spoke to Kyle the manager over the phone, and explained the issue. He was extremely helpful and immediately rectified the situation. Kyle and his team were incredibly helpful from start to finish. I love my new desk and highly recommend this location.

Walked in store asked to see laptops. Guy points to where they are. No laptops on display pics only. 5 people working not one came over to assist us. They were too busy arranging furniture. We were going to buy 2. We walked out. Terrible customer service actually there wasnt any

Just left this location:I was greeted and helped by a lovely gentleman, he gave me two versions on my documents to look at before deciding which to go with for the rest of my project. He was very kind and made slight small talk with me while I waited for the prints! I would definitely recommend this location! It was cheaper than staples and very easy/personable!! ♡

They make me wait for 1 hour at the store in something that was supposed to be curbside pickup, after one hour they tellme they don’t have the item, they have it on the truck all they will callme when the order is ready... later I recieve the email that the order can’t be fulfilled.... waste of time

Ordered a desk 3 weeks ago and it never showed. Basically told me it wasnt their problem and to take it up with the delivery company. Poor service all around. You represent the delivery company you ship with, even if its a bad one. I will never shop here again

I dont know what it is with the people that work in this place, but every time I go in there; they act like oh my God we have to work. I think if any of them smiled their faces would crack. I live in Marlborough and Ive gone in here probably 10 times over the years, and its always the same. Never have I gone in and had someone come up to me with a smile; and ask if they could help me. Somethings going here, not sure what it is, but the courtesy effort has always been lacking.

On 11/28/2015 my daughter and I went to the OfficeMax #6353 at 199 Boston Post Road West, Marlborough, MA in search of a desk and office chair. We arrived not too long after the location was opened that Saturday and was able to find something that really appealed to both of us as it had the size, color and price that we did not want to pass up. Around 11am, we agreed to purchase and spoke with an associate. The associate told us that they had no more in stock and then looked online only to report that items 101095 & 101075 were not available anywhere.I asked if I could have a “rain check” so that I can get the desk and hutch bundle at this price once it was back in stock. I insisted that I should be able to get the item as advertised, especially since the signage was still on display inside the store (which meant to be that the item should still be available). I had gone so far with my insistence that I asked if there were someone else I could speak to about the matter. The associate indicated that there was no one. The associate spoke to the manager on duty through the headset only.The associate finally offered to have someone contact me in order to find the desk and hutch and had me fill out a form with my contact information. He indicated that the woman would be able to tell me if these items could be ordered but informed me that the sale would be over and that I might not be able to get the desk and hutch bundle at the price that was advertised.I filled out the form as requested and was informed that we would hear something within 24-48 business hours. My daughter and I left the store feeling quite disappointed. We had lunch at a restaurant in the same shopping center where it occurred to us that we did not search for the same desk in the other two colors and that we might still be successful.After eating, we went back to OfficeMax where we saw the same associate and asked him to search for the same desk & hutch bundle, but in the other colors (Honey Maple and Cherry). He performed his search on the computer and again indicated that they were not available. He said there was a strong possibility that this item would not restock once the supply had been depleted (which it had appeared to have done). My daughter then asked him if we could purchase the floor model. He indicated that they could not sell this particular floor model. I decided to check the display to see if they had at least taken down the signage since they knew that they were advertising an item they did not have. They had not.I waited for my phone call, but never received one.On 12/20/2015, my daughter and I returned to the OfficeMax in Marlborough to purchase the chair we decided on during our 11/28/2015 visit. After picking up desk organizers for the desk we purchased from another retailer online, we circled around the area where the desk that we really wanted/preferred was displayed only to find that it was still standing and that it was on sale again for a higher price. I took a picture of the display to compare to the original display picture to compare item numbers to see if it was truly the same item or something similar.My comparison of the signage confirmed that the display was advertising the same desk a hutch that I had seen on 11/28/2015. Needless to say, I was very angry and felt cheated by OfficeMax. I not only find this experience to be unfair, but don’t know why it is not illegal.

This place and they’re workers suck! Called to ask for postcards...they said yes. Drove 20 minutes to go pick them up. Turned out they didn’t have them. I’d love some sort of complementary gift card because of this malarkey.

A large, well organized, office max. Has everything from furniture, to printers, to school supplies. Worth going to for your business needs. Also has a teachers discount. Probably better to go Walmart for school supplies as the prices could be lower.

I will never ever shop OfficeMax again. I ordered a printer on line for two day delivery and it has been five days now and still nothing. I keep calling trying to track it down and am getting a complete run around. Three days in a row they say it is being delivered and today they are saying that the warehouse that it is being shipped from is closed. No satisfaction at all. Beware. Wish I could leave a minus ten rating.

My experience at the Marlborough MA store has always been a positive one. My most current visit while attending the NGH Convention was outstanding. I dealt with Shayna in the printing section... who was the ultimate professional! Shayna was knowledgeable, kind and an absolute pleasure to deal with. If I was a store owner I would hire her in a nano second!! You rock Shayna!

Not friendly at all there are not helpful they pretend to not looking at you so you won’t ask for help they just send you over the self service when asked them how it work they got soooo upset they won’t even cash you out at the printable station pregnant or not pregnant you got to go down to the next cash out station even though they are not busy wrost customer service ever to do not say discrimination just because I really want it one paystub print that’s the reason why I did not walk out I was so choked

OfficMax seems to be dedicated to making it as difficult as possible to shop with them. To buy an ink cartridge you have to find an associate (good luck with that), then you have to make them understand what it is that you want to buy, and THEN you have to endure their feeble attempt at upselling you to a subscription service for ink.Lets talk about their copy center. It used to be that you could go in, make copies, and pay for the copies you made. Now, the operation of the machine has become so convoluted that it seems you need a graduate degree in copy machines just to make copies.Im very glad that Staples is also in Marlborough because Ill take my business there from now on, even though Staples location is not convenient.I dont expect OfficeMax to be in business a whole lot longer unless they change their customer service model.

Awful service. I have been waiting for a piece of furniture for over a month now and it was delivered damaged. They never call back when they say they will. Delivery was attempted twice, never came. I am very disappointed. This is the last time they will be getting business from me!

I try to avoid this whenever I can. The last couple of nights I went here a couple of times to try to find a good office chair. When I finally found one that really fit me I went to purchase it only to discover it wasnt in stock (and there was no genuine apology or mention oh when it might be back in stock,etc, etc). What a waste! Also, I had one gentlemen who was staff who literally stared (!) at me while I was trying chairs out, even after I told him I was all set. It became so uncomfortable that I finally had to ask _him_ if there was anything I could for him! I almost walked out of the store it was that weird. Im not going back again ... no thanks ... just too many times they have disappointed me.
