I worked with Samuel last year on a promotional video & he did such an outstanding job, that I hired him as my wedding videographer this past June! He is efficient, knowledgeable & his creativity is unmatched. He captured every part of our day beautifully, and our wedding video is absolutely amazing! I can’t stop watching it ❤️ I HIGHLY recommend Samuel for any of your video needs, especially your wedding 👰

I can’t say enough great things about Sam. Working with him on my promotional video was not only fun, but it turned out amazing! I love his sense of humor, and his creativity is unmatched. He puts his whole heart & passion into his work and it shows. I can’t wait for him to photograph and film my wedding this Spring!

We have had a lot of issues with Samuel and his assistant. Sam was busy on our wedding day with another wedding, but had an assistant who was able to film in his place. On our wedding day, Sam’s assistant showed up on time, however she never introduced herself to my husband or myself. I think over the course of the 6 hours she was there for, she spoke maybe 2 or 3 times total. The unprofessional lack of communication caused important things to be missed during the wedding (videoing a decoration ring and not my actual wedding ring/band, leaving early without notifying us and missing our grand exit). When watching the wedding videos, the assistant can also be heard singing/humming in the background to the music.Regarding Sam: I asked Sam 2 months before the wedding to include a particular song in our highlight reel (he agreed to doing). I also asked for the first look of my dad and grandpa to be included as well. After the wedding, I checked in with him and thanked him for his assistant coming out and asked when we could expect the video. He responded and said that it typically takes 4-6 weeks, but that he was going to try to get it done in 3 weeks or less. 3 weeks go by and I reach out to Sam again, and he said that the holidays have pushed back his schedule and it would be closer to the 4-6 week mark. We got our first video 3 days before the 6 week mark. In the initial video, Sam misspelled my husband’s name, did not include the first look of my dad and grandpa, and did not have the song we specifically requested. Instead of putting in the Christian song we requested, he put in a country song about drinking whiskey. I texted him back with these concerns, to which he said that he could not locate the video of the first look, and that the song we requested was protected and was not able to be used. I was pretty frustrated because he had since October to bring this up and let us pick another song, but instead, he put in a random song and hoped we wouldn’t notice. He also let me know that the song request was a “mention to have” and “not a solid thing needed”. He edited the video and it did have the corrections done to it, but instead of editing the first look into the proper sequence of the video, he just tacked it on to the end of the video, almost like a quick and easy fix to his error and put no time or effort into it. Upon reviewing the raw footage, we noticed we were missing a lot of the footage. The footage missing included: father of the bride and BM speeches, father/daughter and mother/son dances, cake cutting, getting shoes and dress on, and an additional angle of the ceremony (closer up and also showed everyone walking down the aisle). Pretty important and crucial parts of a wedding if you ask me. He made the final video without even viewing this and additional footage totaling close to half the total footage and feels that it is up to his standards. When I advised him of the missing footage, Sam argued with me that the assistant did not capture another angle of the ceremony, and that not all of the footage was downloaded to his computer initially. We finally got all of the footage 5 days after the contract and Sam promised we would have everything by. He did also throw in there and say that the process has been frustrating for him too and tried to offer a make up for how bad everything went. Since we got all the footage, Sam has also blocked me on Facebook, even though I remained civil throughout our whole interaction. Having a wedding in the middle of COVID, lots of issues came up, but out of everyone we worked with, Pages of Samuel is the only one who didn’t get a 5 star review. I do not recommend Pages of Samuel for any of your filming needs.
