Danielle was awesome! She answered all my questions that I had. She was very personable. She was very patient when verifying my information. She has excellent customer service skills!! Recommend going to see her!!! Overall, a wonderful experience and Danielle was fantastic!!!!
Make sure you read every word on the contract they want you to sign. I wanted to borrow a $100 and they said I’ve a $1000 line of credit. I was told I had to take $600 give back I want. I gave $500 back. The $100 I kept was supposed to payback $110. It cost me a $160. They told me to have a line of credit you’re need to fee every month whether you use it or not. Line of credit every else you don’t pay a fee. Be very careful of what you get here. They said they don’t have to tell you everything about all the fees. You need to read the contact.
They need references to cash any type of check just to pretty much say that your steady and it will not bounce. I have seen an actual check smart employee give them references so they would cash a check they just gave him, he still working there and has been for 7 years. Gr8 place tho, they might have a customer for life.
I have been using check smart whenever I need an emergency loan and the service has gone down hill and the rates have gone up. I took a loan out yesterday for $250 and was told if I repaid it by today it would only be the $250 and no interest because I was in the grace period. That was a lie. I took $260 from the ATM and went to the window and paid and was told it was going to be $261.86. I told the guy behind the counter what I was told and he said well Im going by what my computer says. I paid it and left. I will not be using check smart again
