Bill was amazing to my Nana and Grandma. Their central air went out and he was over there same day I called. He was so nice and understanding of their situation and health needs, and was able to get them up and running by the next afternoon. B&B will definitely be my go to from now on!
Bill was familiar with our rare and very outdated geothermal system (Tetco). He was very quick to show up for the service call even though he made room in his schedule to squeeze us in. Very professional service. If you need HVAC service or install give them a call.
Chad and Billy are very nice but they are a bit backed up right now. Probably typical for this time of year.
Billy Hill and the crew at B&B Mechanical are top notch! Weve used B&B mechanical several times on very different projects, both large (industrial) and small (residential) and they have been amazing every time!Billy is so patient in explaining their process, and their prices are VERY fair. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
Started off pretty good, ended badly. The owner Billy came out, was on time, and was professional. Told me he would send me a quote that night or next morning. Quote came on time next morning. Quote however was not itemized and did not have the capacity of the system listed. Quote was a little out of my budget so I replied with a follow up question to have the scope of the work changed and asked for the capacity of the system. Billy responded and said he would do a new quote incorporating the changes yet neglected to tell me what the system rating is yet again. I waited a few days and sent 2 friendly follow up emails, yet no quote or response. 10 days later and I still dont know what rated system he was planning to install. You would think that was kinda important...who would blindly buy a whole hvac system not knowing the BTU rating?
No call back going with someone else.
Billy came over to give an estimate when our furnace cracked the heat exchanger. He started looking at some things in the process. I asked about it. He had questions about the old installation, which set me into researching the work done and found it was improper, a point that he confirmed next time we spoke.That led to another discovery by the company that did the old installation, in a return visit when I said there was a reason for the furnace failure. Turned out there was another error in the work done.They blamed the former owner, the furnace, and the layout, not owning up to a mediocre job done by them some years earlier. I had more questions to research and to talk over with Billy. The answers made sense. I was also bothered by the other company blaming everyone and everything but themselves. They were part to blame. Id have respected the assignment of some of the guilt to themselves, even if it didnt result in anything other than that. Then in the last conversation they tried to fault the furnace layout and up-sell me to a more expensive rework that I didnt see as necessary.Again a discussion with Billy and some research brought out the fact that all was fine as set up, I just needed the right duct work and vent tubing with a new furnace. All else was fine.The great part B&Bs quote was lower than the other, but in addition it was on a more efficient upscale furnace with more desirable DC vent motor, dual stage gas valve, dual stage digital thermostat, plus a new air filter as well. That was Billys estimate without any knowledge of what the others were.The house is warmer, including the bedrooms which have the doors closed all day. Previously we had to use a space heater in the master bed room. Now it is about as warm as the rest of the house. Had I not had some constructive educational discussion with Billy this may not have happened at all. I appreciate his willingness to explain and educate on what is needed with understandable explanations.Take the time talk to Billy, learn what you need and why. Then ask questions and do some internet research. Youll likely learn what I did - he knows what hes talking about and will share it, but no high pressure at all. I recommend B&B Mechanical highly.
B&B came out to look at our old a/c and told us it couldnt be repaired. He explained the problem to us. Sent us an estimate which was quite fair. Came out put a new one in, cleaned up any mess made. I would recommend them to everyone.
Dont waste your time calling them came out and looked at my boiler told me what I needed left I never heard back from them gave them a month called somebody else got the same runaround finally found someone to fix my issue
