My son, a senior at the Wheeler Magnet, was struggling in AP Statistics. He has high functioning Autism and not every tutor or teacher gets him. After one session with Allison, his grades began significantly improving! In a few weeks, his teacher said hed made a complete turn around! Just have to give a big shout out to East Cobb Tutoring Center and Allison Goldberg Barchichat. I have always found tutors on my own. NEVER ever wanted to use a business. Then, I couldnt find a tutor, so I gave them a try. OMG, I could not be HAPPIER. My daughter LOVES the tutor she is working with and it has already been a great experience. And Allison has been incredibly wonderful to deal with. I am very very happy with the entire experience. I recommend East Cobb Tutoring Center HIGHLY!!!

East Cobb Tutoring was there for us when we needed it! Weve worked with several of the tutors, including the owner herself Allison, who is a math genius! Shes not only brilliant, but a compassionate and effective teacher. She helped my daughter through some very challenging math classes in her Magnet high school. Ben helped my daughter with AP World History and more importantly, in setting up study skills. The service they provide is both motivating and enriching. My daughter enjoying coming to tutoring and it gave her the extra boost she needed to get through a rigorous program. We used a total of 5 different turns over the course of the four years of high school and each one was professional, skilled at teaching, motivating, pleasant and extremely smart! My daughter is now finishing her 1st year at UGA on the HOPE scholarship. The skills she learned from Ben have made the transition from high school to college much easier. She is organized, know how to prioritize her assignments; it paid off with good grades, a great freshman experience and remaining HOPE eligible!

My son was having difficulty in Honors biology. He saw his teacher several times a week for extra help, but his grades did not improve. The more he tried the worse things seemed to get and the higher his stress levels went with each test. After just a few sessions with Molly McNair, my sons grades were steadily improving. He was more relaxed and confident. I only wish we had started sooner. He went from grades went from low Cs to Bs consistently. Allison B. and Molly really helped us out of a difficult situation. We plan on starting the year out with a Chemistry tutor next year!

These folks really helped. My son had a picky Bio teacher and the grades to match. The rough part was attitude. He reached the point where he didnt think that studying would lead to better grades. Of course, he was right. And then the depressed attitude starting spreading to other classes.A friend suggested East Cobb Tutoring Center. They set us up with Molly. She was wonderful. She reviewed old tests with my son and started building strategies to turn the class around. His grade started inching up and he left the EOC feeling like the test was easy. Fingers crossed.Years back we went to a few of the big chain tutoring centers. They felt like big chains. We could get tutoring and tires for our car. Everything was set and nothing took my son or his situation into consideration. This was different. They cared about how my son learned and his challenges.I would highly recommend the center and tutprs.
