This was our first time using a moving company, and I could not have been more pleased with how it went. From the very first phone call scheduling a walk through, the walk through itself, quote, all follow ups, and then the moving day itself! We hired Wirks for a local move. Brita came out and did a survey of our belongings and we received an estimate quick. The process for setting up the service was easy. Our move took place over 2 days. The team came in and was given walk through of our home and the belongings/furniture we wanted moved. I was really surprised at how quick they moved our stuff. Everything was wrapped and handled with care. The unloading went as quick as well. All of our furniture and belongings arrived at our new house with no damage. We had heard horror stories about moving companies so we did our homework and glad we did. After 18 years we had a lot of stuff. The first day was boxing and wrapping, second day was loading two large trucks, the third day we drove to our new location and fourth day was unpacking and set-up. Each day we had five to six experienced crew . They new what they were doing and worked fast. No damage. We got our cost down some by packing about half. Consequently, our final cost was below the original estimate. They did what they said they would do with no surprises, on budget, experienced crews, good value and good experience. I highly recommend them. If you get a chance, ask for Josh, Keith and Jimmy to help with your move.

You get what you pay for, and I am sure you could find a company that would charge less for their services, but Wirks came recommended and I trusted that it would be worth it. We chose to pack our own boxes and have the movers come to do the heavy lifting. We moved into our first home from a two story apartment and requested one truck and two guys. They were both amazing. They came to do their job and did not waste time. I was worried by them being paid hourly they would try to make the process longer, but they did not. They wore shoe coverings in our brand new home when I asked them to, they were pleasant, they had blankets to protect our furniture, they laid floor coverings on our new carpet in the house, they did not damage a single item. I would recommend them to others. I only wish I could remember their names. We moved 8/21/21 if there is a way to see who helped us!

Our experience with Wirks was 1st class across the board. The team was prompt and they got right to work. We were moving out of a near 7000 square foot house, so it was a big move and stuff was going to 3 different destinations. Wirks came in and walked the house and then gave an estimate. We decided what valuables needed to be crated ahead of time. Then came the packers several days before the movers showed up. Overall the packers were competent, however this is one area that needs improvement. there was just too much stuff that was left unpacked, but when I called and expressed my concerns they sent packers out again to finish the job no questions asked. On the day of the move the crew walked the property and then put protective coverings on our stairs and floors then the move began in a very orderly way. We never felt that there was chaos or that they didnt listen to our needs even though they did ask us on numerous occasions where certain items were supposed to go (the same items over and over again) we would rather have them ask 100 times than not at all. They showed up with 3 trucks and did their best to avoid damaging walls etc. What is most telling is when damage did occur they pointed it out to us and assured us it would be taken care of and so far they have. For example, an item toppled over and broke a window. Accidents happen and the good companies make sure you dont worry about it getting fixed. Someone was at our house the next business day to measure the window and order new glass. Throughout, everyone was very professional. We would highly recommend Wirks. We move a lot and we have had a lot of experiences, but this one was one of the best we have had.

Wirks moved us locally and we couldn’t be more pleased. I appreciated the timely and upfront manner of all communication including listening to and understanding our needs. Having Britta come to our house and go room by room to truly determine what we had to move, gave me confidence that we wouldn’t get hit with unexpected charges. My experience with Wirks was a refreshingly pleasant one. The team of 3 were efficient, respectful and worked very well together. They moved my stuff from a packed 12x15 storage unit in record time with no breaks or negative vibes!

Works is a very professional moving company. After reading so many great reviews and talking with representatives from the company, I felt like this was a company I could trust with my things. They were the only company that sent a physical person to my home to do a walk-through and review the items I had before we moved to give me an accurate quote with no surprises. I might have paid a little more than other companies, but the peace that I had knowing that my things were being well cared for and taken care of during the move was well worth it. These guys went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and that everything was as I expected. We even had a later load in the afternoon that was delivered and some of the guys came back after they were done with the big job to pull things off a smaller truck for us later in the day. A great experience all around. I called them for a move 5 days out. They said that they had an opening and would give it to me. The communication was really good from the initial consultation up to the day before, confirming everything. Elvi & Fernando actually arrived early and got to work. I pointed out what was going, what wasnt and what might be. They got to work immediately. I was downsizing from a house to a condo and had more than even I had expected to be moved. They worked the whole time they were expected to and were careful with everything. All of the larger items were properly wrapped and they even wrapped some thing for me that were not originally stated. There was only one casualty in the whole move and it was a cheap plastic container of rocks. They were too heavy for the container that I had them in, and that was all on me. There was a bit of sticker shock but it has been almost 7 years since I last moved this much at once. I felt that the price was more than fair for the level of service that was provided. Would definitely recommend Wirks to anyone that would need moving services.

We could tell that Wirks was a different kind of moving company when we met with Britta. Her whole presentation was about keeping our move simple and stress-free. When her quote was 40% below the national company, and they guaranteed a delivery date on a long-distance move just two days after loading, we needed to look no further. The packing and loading crews were exceptional. Danielle and crew were amazingly quick, wrapping three complete sets of delicate china and about 50 pieces of artwork, with all arriving in perfect shape. The loading crew, including Andrew, two Alexes and Alfredo (I think that was his name) packed a whole lot of furniture and 42 years of miscellaneous items tightly onto a single straight truck. Dave and Andrew were outstanding on the unloading side. Their local crew was not quite up to Wirks standards, but Dave and Andrew made sure the job was completed properly.

Fernando, Elvi, Alex and Deomedes were all great! We had pretty much the same crew moving from storage to our new place as we did when moving out. The guys were super organized and worked efficiently. They were amazing and got things in like our huge sofa that I never thought would happen. They also put everything back together back perfectly! We had no damages at all! I would use them in a heartbeat if needed their services again. 👍😁

Everything about this company was excellent..I work with movers all the time.. they were positive, never stopped working and professional.. I was very impressed and have recommended them already to several people!

Hernando, Miguel and the other gentleman were great. The showed up on time and took excellent care of my things. The wrapped everything including the washer and dryer to make sure it was scratched or dented. They laid down carpet protectors. Nothing was broken, scratched or dented. I have never had such professional and fast movers. Wirks Moving and Storage is the absolute best. I was hesitant about their pricing but you get what you pay for and I paid for the best and got the best!!!!

Wirks Moving was an excellent experience. We hired a different company to move us out of our house and the experience was horrible. I have moved homes frequently over the last 25 years. My most recent move from Atlanta to Maryland was the smoothest. Wirks provided a no-nonsense team of Robert and Brian to handle my move. The office staff was also a dream to work with, they too were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make the scheduling work for everyone.

We moved from our home into Wirks’ storage until our new home will be finished...probably just a month. Our move team which included Will, B-Lynn, Cristobal and Abel were very informative, courteous and took great care with our furniture and our home! We will definitely request them when moving out of storage and into our new home.Our estimate was provided by Britta and she was very knowledgeable and responsive and answered all of our many questions leading up to our move.We can definitely recommend Wirks and we are anticipating that our move out of storage will go well.

Our crew showed up on time as scheduled the day of the move. They were kind, courteous and respectful. One item broke in the process but they immediately called the office and confirmed a reimbursement. Britta is the one who walked through our home, she was very professional- gave us a flat quote and answered all of my questions. Erin was very responsive throughout the process as well and made sure that we were taken care of from beginning to end. The second day, our crew was 1/2 the amount of guys - but Dante and Mario especially made sure to get the job done. Those two gentleman truly went above and beyond, the extra mile to make sure everything was moved in. They stayed late. We even had a bunk bed that needed to be re-assembled and two additional team members from WIRKS showed up the next day to get that done. I am so grateful for the crew that worked so hard to make this move as smooth as possible. They honored their original quote- worked extremely hard, my husband and I could not be more grateful. I certainly recommend them to make your next move as smooth and hassle free as possible.

Lawrence, Deandre, Alexander, and Alfredo gave my family the prompt and professional service of trained and expert movers. On a particularly chaotic day, they brought a sense of order and process which was appreciated. They were even helpful beyond their duties and helped me when my truck was stuck. I thank them, appreciate them, and even requested them to help me with my mother-in-laws move a month later. These men are trustworthy and this company is the best in the business.

Keith, Matt and Chris were wonderful. They were on time, courteous and respectful of our belongings. It was obvious that they enjoyed what they were doing and who they worked for. The Wirks team did a great job, both with packing, and then the actual move, the head of the move (Dante) did an amazing job, along with the rest of the crew: Brian, Joe, Candelario, & Harvey. I thought it was going to be a much longer day for moving, but they were on top of everything, and super efficient. All while making sure all the furniture and boxes were being put in the right places. A really positive experience with something that is typically very stressful!

We had a great experience with Wirks Moving after selling our home in GA and moving to NC. They quickly and efficiently packed our belongings in about 5 hours, and they loaded and unloaded our house in a timely manner as well. I am very pleased with my local move from Wirks. WILL, DANTE, and ALEC were very professional and efficient with their work. And i moved from one highrise to another! Each gentleman worked very hard to make a stressful time as easy as possible. This team worked fast, and carefully wrapped my items. They moved everything with care and really looked out for me. They carefully placed my boxes in a way so that I could even unpack easier. Will was kind enough to offer to tighten my loose table. They showed initiative and took directive wonderfully. First, Brita was a true professional and thorough salesperson. She listened, was detailed and precise with her cost estimate. Next, on the days of the move and unload - Keith led a crew that included Danyel, Matt, Alexander and Alfredo that were fun, funny, polite, hard-working, neat, considerate, respectful, super careful, professional, and they moved all of our things, including a baby grand piano with absolutely no damage to our belongings or either house [not one scratch, scuff mark - nothing]. It was the smoothest long-distance move Ive ever had. I would recommend Wirks to anyone over the big guys - they were much more cost effective - but just better overall. They took exceptional care of us from start to finish with no surprise charges at the end.

Willie, Jimmy, Tyrone, David L, Jarod & Michael R. Did a great job, we had so many boxes and many of those heavy. They knocked it out fast. I had a hard time just keeping up with directing what went where! The only faults in our move were our fault for not being totally packed up and ready. Going to take us a months to unpack all these boxes now! I totally recommend Wirk’s Moving. They were a good value versus the big movers and did a MUCH better job than past moves with 2 “guys” and a truck.
