After a water loss occurred in my home in 2015, I hired Remediation Group to perform the restoration and reconstruction work. I ran into a flooring warranty issue along the way with this project and despite some disagreements and differing opinions, Remediation Group stepped back in when I needed them and handled the issues with professionalism and integrity. In the end, I am happy with the help and attentiveness that I received in the project’s resolution.
Who else can you turn to when you want deceptively written and ethically dubious direct mailings!?They even have the presence of mind to send them under false names like: Senior Information Dept. I mean, if youre going to prey on seniors with predatory marketing materials – Ya gotst to go all the way! And, just in case anyone might pass over the envelope they add a surprise twist. The mailing isnt your first notice – oh no – that would just be silly (read: honest) – its your second notice. Times almost up! Better open it up grandma – you wouldnt want to miss out or get in to trouble by accidentally throwing THIS mail out!Quick, send back the note, list your phone number, your next of kin. Dont stop. Dont think. Dont concern yourself with the fact that the mailing doesnt bother to tell you WHO youre dealing with. It doesnt matter. You wouldnt remember anyway. Youre old. Youre supposed to be exploited – not respected!Yeah, Mike Rehg is a stand-up guy. Lying his way in to homes all across america. Its little wonder his company doesnt include any contact information within the mailings he organizes. Wouldnt want people to be able to opt out easily. Wouldnt want people to trace it back to him.So, if you want to deal with disreputable people and if you like to talk to your clients and potential customers in ways that you would think unthinkable if they were your relatives, friends, or acquaintances – RGI is right for you. If you want mass mailings done so wrong their good – Mike Rehg is your man! RGI sells their soul so you dont have to! They know that wit, humor, and positive tactics arent worth the time and energy – not when there are so many vulnerable people out there to exploit. One more time, just for fun (and for search engines):Mike Rehg and RGI is the Senior Information Dept.---------------------------------In response to your response: I just posted a photo of your mailer.1. Please point out where you identify yourself or your client.2. Please explain why printing the words: second notice isnt fraudulent when I never received a first notice?3. Please identify where it shows that I can opt out of future mailings (I covered my address with the envelope and the barcode at the bottom of the form to protect my privacy – apart from that, I believe the photo shows all of the printed text). You say you have the utmost respect for the individuals who receive your mailings, yet you offer a bold-faced lie (in red, no less) to get them to open the envelope. What is the point of that line, if it isnt to mislead? Is it respectful to hide your identity? Is it respectful to use language that implies that you may be talking about state run programs only to deny that in small print at the end of your form? For many elderly people small print is as good as no print.Lets be clear: If you mislead people to sell something or obtain information (whether you turn around and sell that information or not) – youre scamming people. It doesnt matter if youre selling something of great value. It doesnt even matter if it might ultimately benefit someone. By intentionally misleading people to gain an advantage you attempt to deny them an opportunity to evaluate the opportunity fairly. You, in fact, attempt to weaken their sense of reason and prey on them.Youre capable of better. It just takes more creativity and a true commitment to ethics. You can get there. The first step is to stop rationalizing bad behavior by celebrating the ends and to stop hiding behind a its not personal; its only business mentality.
