We have used Advanced Disposal for 2 years now and have been extremely disappointed. They always miss our trash bin on pick up day and could care less about rectifying the situation. I call every time a trash pickup is missed to notify them and they do nothing to appease the situation. I let them know we would be canceling and using a new trash service and they said, “Just give us 5 days before canceling” and hung up the phone. They could care less about keeping customers. Terrible customer service and terrible company.

Convenient hours. Costs a bit more from outside Cobb county but good in a pinch.

I mean....it is the dump so I guess it was exactly what I expected. I can say it was well organized and things run very smoothly. Recycles are down the road next to Westrock.

I just spoke with Cristen and she was so nice. It was a great change from the people you usually talk to when going anywhere anymore. Cristen showed how easy and effective it is to just be nice to a stranger. So thank you!

Been with them for 2 quarters, they have missed 26 pick ups for household garbage and or recycling. You can not count on them !

The line to access this facility on Saturdays is long. Give yourself 20 to 30 extra minutes.

They customer service is very bad.They ignore the complaints and they rude.There is a long waiting line every morning, and theyre not willing to do nothing to for it and move the line faster.

We are very thankful for this facility. Very clean and fast to get in and out. The manager here is very nice. She and her employees are nothing more than amazing! We love coming here!

Advanced. Yeah right. I think management must have changed, because we had no problems with this company for years until several months ago. Quite suddenly, they refuse to pick up any trash that is not in one of THEIR bins, which was never a problem before. And they want to charge you $80 for it. If they dont like something you put in the trash can, they fling it into your yard. Cans are left in the street, tipped over, blocking driveways... These people are clowns. We cancelled our service and so have all of my neighbors. I guess the good news is theyll be out of business soon at this rate.UPDATE: These idiots ranted to me on the phone: IF YOU CANCEL, YOU NEED TO LEAVE OUR TRASH CAN OUT SO WE CAN COLLECT IT. We did. For three weeks. No one came to get it. YAY FREE TRASH CAN

Workers are pleasant for the most part with some exceptions. Price is economical as long as youre a Cobb County resident.

This company is the worst ever. Had issues with pickup (not consistent) and putting garbage cans in the middle of the driveway. Called to speak to supervisor...NO RESPONSE both times. Save yourself from headaches....DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Not sure what the hooplah is about. Its a dump. Ive been coming here for years, never had an issue.Sometimes we pay flat rate before hand, sometimes we are weighed and pay on the way out. Ive yet to really figure out what determines which option you get, but everyone here has always been extremely polite. Sometimes its a quick stop, sometimes it takes a long time to get through the line, thats true anywhere.If you need to dump or recycle, this is the place to do it.

Total crooks! I took about 49 empty boxes abd they charged me $25. They said I had over 1000 pounds. I couldnt have had 100 pounds. They were empty boxes! How in the world can empty boxes weigh that much. I advise you not to go here. I told the lady at the scale there is no way the boxes could have weighed that and she didnt even answer me back.

The transfer station is always available, they have the best prices in town I never worry about being in line all day long.

I would give no stars if I could. If you have a business, and want your trash picked up on scheduled days do not use this business.

Cheap easy way to get rid of trash. Recently used it after a move since we had lots of trash and no service. Can be busy so expect to wait but worth it for $7 if Cobb resident and its under 400 lbs

New policy sucks. $50 min for any load if you are not a Cobb County resident. Double, maybe triple the normal $7 would be acceptable. Fifty bucks is a joke.

We came here to drop off our unwanted cardboard. We waited in line for about 10 minutes, paid our $7.00 fee, and then waited in line to dispose of the cardboard. The process to drop off the cardboard was relatively easy. Upon leaving, we followed the traffic out. However, the white attendant with long blonde hair screamed at us. Assuming something was wrong with the vehicle, we waited for her to approach us. She immediately accused us of not paying the fee and demanded to see our receipt. We politely explained to her that we paid in cash, but we did not receive a receipt. No one in front of us received one either. She did not believe us and continued to accuse us. How would we have waited in line for almost 30 minutes or gotten past the checkpoint if we never paid? Why were we the only ones who were stopped to do a receipt check when everyone else drove right on through? Finally, she asked if we spoke to the white lady or the black lady. When we answered, she stormed off. This woman was incredibly rude and unprofessional. The accusations placed against us were incredibly dense and short sighted, which parallel her lack of couth or basic understanding.

Been to this dump - transfer station several times in recent weeks as I get rid of stuff preparing to move. This pat Monday morning, I got here shortly after they opened only to get stuck in a line backed down the road because bulldozer had to do their thing rearranging and pushing back pile.I wish they could start before we get here to keep customers from starting the day in such a slow line, but ??Took me close to an hour to drop off my car full of items.

Great place to unload your unwanted trash. The first 400 lbs. will cost you $7, and every pound over that will cost an additional 3 cents. No liquids, hazardous chemicals, etc. allowed. It gets crowded on Saturdays, and weekday mornings, but clears up around noon most days.As for their collection service, I cant comment as I do not use them.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst customer service EVER! We had North Metro Waste and they were great! Then they sold our account to Advanced Disposal. Their accounting department is a nightmare along with their customer service (if thats what you want to call it)! We actually went with another trash company that was more expensive just so we did not have to deal with this company anymore.

Missed the last 3 of 4 recycle bin. Trying to reach these people is worse than Comcast. Going to look for another service. Cycle Works who they bought out were awesome...

Great customer service

We had North Metro, which was great, but they sold our account to Advanced Disposal. Advanced Disposal is the worst service I have ever had!Over this last 5 weeks, my garbage has only been picked up twice. After contacting the office it was missed again the very next pick up. My pickup day is Friday and we put our trash out at the curb on Thursday night and have left it there until Sat night each time. I just put in a complaint and cancellation online. Very disappointed in paying for nothing.

Not one worker was wearing a mask.

Advanced Disposal is probably the worst service Ive ever had for trash pickup. Have had several no shows in our neighborhood. They finally showed up today and while picking up, some of my trash fell into the street. It was left there. I had to pick it up. Been sitting on hold for almost 20 mins with their customer service number and no one is answering. This is the 2nd time I have called this morning. Finally someone answered while typing this review and all I could hear in the background was allot of laughing. So they did not sound very busy.. I called North Metro to sign up with them, they answered right away.

They answered my question but have zero customer service skills. Seemed aggravated to answer my questions.

They pick up consistently but hope you do not need to deal with the office for any reason. They bought out the provider we were using and after a year I am looking for a new provider.

It is quick, easy, and relatively cheap. Ive never had to pay over $7.00 to dump a pickup truck full of construction debris.

Worst place. The workers walk around doing nothing we have sayin line for almost 2 hours and still havent dumped out truck load off. It takes a while day just to dump your trash.Dont plan on coming unless you have a whole day and a full tank of gas.

These reviews had me expecting the worst, but the representative at this number gave me a number for -what I believe was- residential account services, and I was pleasantly surprised when Leighanne answered the phone with some of the best customer service I have experienced over the phone in recent years.

LOOK AT THE NEW POLICY!!If youre not a Cobb county resident its way more money than the usual 7 that used to be, I paid 50 for a full size truck, time to look for another place.

Website says open Saturday until 4pm. Here I am Saturday at 2:40pm and the business is closed. I even called first and there was no indication that they would be closing early (only automated touch tone service of course). Waste of time - no pun intended.
