This company called my father due to a referral from the VA. The person insisted on calling my father a vet, retired police officer disrespectfully by his first name opposed to Mr. Manning as he requested numerous times. He was transferred to the owner who continued to disrespect him and further demeaned him by saying I guess you dont want the stair lift. Its unfortunate that people who have served the city and country have to be mistreated by those that should be helping to make their lives me comfortable. My father has prostate, pancreatic and bone cancer. Whats the harm in respecting someones culture and generation. Is this because he is African American? You think its okay to treat anyone that way? Summer people conduct business why formal etiquette, when asked to be called by a certain name what harm does it cause. The owner went on to low and say she was trying to Veitch his make. The lie was illogical. Hed been verified prior to the first person transferring the call to the owner. Sad! I would greatly recommend cultural sensitivity training. I see the majority of your clients are white, must be rate you deal with African Americans. We demand the same respect and quality of service you seem to have provided to others. How dare you try to get his lift installation cancelled thats very unprofessional!

After extensive research (I am an academic, I cant help myself) all roads led to Ameriglide for price, quality, warranty and so forth. The Atlanta distributor Lisa Terry had a detailed working knowledge of what our requirements were and tailored the installation to those needs. The device was installed by Ruben, a courteous and meticulous elevator technician who worked with us to the last detail to make sure our units were just right. He cleaned up after installation and made sure we were good operators of his proud installation. We have named our chair lift The Scream Machine only because that was the most absurd name we could come up with, apologies to 6 Flags. It is very easy to recommend Ameriglide of Marietta. Seamless from beginning to finished product.

We knew the time had come that we needed a stair chair to enable my husband to be able to get to our downstairs basement den. I asked around, AmeriGlides name kept coming up, so I called on Monday, went in to see the showroom, placed my order, and it was installed 2 days later. Lisa showed me how everything worked, and the showroom helped so much to be able to see exactly how the stair chair worked, so I felt very comfortable placing my order. Tyler was the person that did the install. He was so professional, explained everything, made sure my husband felt safe and secure, and was gone in approximately 2 hours. He really knew the product. This is not an inexpensive product, but were finding its so worthwhile. AmerGlide was wonderful, were so glad we made the decision and used the right company.

If you are looking for a stair lift, AmeriGlide of Marietta is the place for you! I did a lot of research and found one of the best companies here in Marietta. Lisa and Ray (the owners) were absolutely great. Lisa came to our home and measured our stairs. She recommended the RAVE lift and it has fixed our issues getting up the stairs. My wife and I both have a hard time navigating stairs and AmeriGlide solved our problems and saved the day! Ray and one of their installers Tyler arrived to install the lift and within 2 1/2 hours were completely finished. We could not be happier. They were able to get everything done so fast. My sister and I had been looking in several stores for months for a recliner/ chair lift for our mom that would fit her petite size and many requirements . Lisa is a super star. Ive had a problem with my stairlift for over 2 months and havent been able to get the problem taken care of by my local Ameriglide repair person. Everything went so smoothly, he was finished early with no complications, delays or concerns. The installer made sure I understood how to safely use the device and had me demonstrate my knowledge. From start to finish, Lisa was knowledgeable, patient and caring, working with my aunt and uncle to decide on the right stair lift for their home, and helping with options to get it within their budget. They needed a custom rail made since their stairs have a landing with a 90 degree turn, but it arrived a couple weeks faster than promised. We needed a curved stair lift for our home to allow our mother/mother-in-law the ability access the two main floors of our home. We did on-line data collection and called a few vendors for information. A major drawback we found was that most vendors did not even have a showroom for their product line; not so with AmeriGlide of Marietta!We visited their showroom and they had several stair lifts that we were able to physically test out. This made us feel much more comfortable about us eventually buying our stair lift.We liked the husband and wife team of Lisa and Ray. They are both very pleasant and a pleasure to work with. I was very pleased with the excellence and professionalism that Lisa and her staffs provided to me. When I first called requesting information, Lisa was very knowledgeable of the product that best fit my concerns. When I finally met her, she wasnt pushing me to buy her product like others did. We had a face to face adult conversation and went to the potential site wher e I wish to install the lift, then took pictures and measurements. I had a budget and she also worked with me with that as well. I was in desperate need of a chair lift due to falling down 10 steps and breaking my shoulder. Ray came out promptly upon my call and was great at explaining the Ameriglide WAVE lift and even knew all the technical stuff since he installs them too. This impressed my engineer type husband and we were sold! They even have a showroom you can visit and ride the chair lift which I did. I was impressed at the speed of the lift and ease of use. We purchased 2 lifts for 2 sets of steps. Ray promptly came out on a Sunday afternoon and installed both lifts! We just love them and now my fear of steps are gone forever! Both Ray and Lisa are very attentive to your needs and very personable. I will recommend them to all my friends who have mobility issues. AmeriGlide communicated effectively and did what they said they were going to do. There was a small hiccup which was no fault of their own but they went out of their way to help make it right. I needed a stairlift chair for a downstairs apartment and I found AmeriGlide through their existing reviews as the first company to speak with.I found that their website provided me with enough information to then conduct my research to then appreciate the equipment and services that they had available. I also appreciated that their website provided pricing information. I found that many websites would not provide any pricing information until you provided significant personal information.I was then able to conduct most of my business with Rebecca at AmeriGlide by email which suited me since I was at work and could not engage in numerous phone conversations. Rebecca was able to understand what I needed and provided the measurement guides to ensure that I could order the best equipment I needed.Once I had all the measurements, I was able to visit the physical store, where Rebecca was able to show me the product I was going to buy in operation. AmeriGlide has a showroom with many products deployed on small stairwells and other situations so you can see the exact operation of each product. Selection and price, and most importantly CUSTOMER SERVICE (before and after the sale!!) were all top notch.Our installation had doorways at the top and bottom of the stairway...without space for landings. Purchased ameriglide stair lift. Lift would not charge. We tried to trouble shoot ourselves with our instruction booklet. No luck. We called ameriglide a technician walked us through some things to look for. Found out it was a fuse. Went to local store replaced fuse and chair works fine now. The personnel were very helpful and even called us back to see if everything was resolved a Ms Hughes called. Great customer service. Happy customer.

Have 18 year old stair lift that stopped working... called AmeriGlide of Marietta, and they said they would take a look with no guarantees because of the age (parts being available)...took several visits and a couple new parts, it works!!! I called Americlide of Marietta for a quote on a platform lift. Because of the unique application--there were some questions that couldnt be answered over the phone. Ray and Lisa came down to Gray Ga. on a Sunday afternoon to look at the site where the lift would be. Ray was very meticulous in looking at the site and making me understand the prep work I would have to do before the lift could be installed. When the prep work was done, Ray came right down and installed the lift. The installation was very professional and the product is excellent. When the state inspection was due, Ray came down the day before to make sure everything was still in order. The inspection went without a hitch--as I knew it would. I have been SO impressed and pleased with the entire process and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ameriglide of Marietta. We have a 14 foot lift that is exactly what Ray said it would be. Its nice to be able to have an installation go so smoothly and a product work so great. Ray, Lisa and Rebecca are the BEST!!

Lisa from Ameriglide contacted me and apologized for the trouble and confusion. She was very sincere and made me feel 100% better. We’ve made arrangements to rectify the situation and I’m very pleased. I didn’t think to call her office directly. Had I done that I probably wouldn’t have had a problem. As I said in my first review the stairlift worked great and I had absolutely no problems with it. Again I really appreciate Lisa calling me and straightening things out.I’m only giving it two stars because the stair lift dud actually work. I had it a little under a year and no problems with it. My mom had another stroke and I was moving so we no longer needed the lift. I saw the buyback warranty and sent them a email. They offered me only $800 even though it was $8,000 when it was installed. He gave me instructions on how to remove the chair because that’s all they wanted to buy back. My mom got sicker and just passed a few days ago. Trying to wrap things up I emailed the guy and asked him for instructions on how to remove the railing the seat was on. The guy that was removing it was having trouble. The guy from Ameri glide responded to the email and said they have suspended the buy back program. I said ok can you still send instructions on how to remove the rail. He never responded to me. How f-ckn rude and heartless was that? To just ignore me when I needed help. Now I’m stuck with this big thing in my 1 bedroom. It cost me money just to get someone to remove it without damaging it. $8,000 and he couldn’t simply give me instructions or offer any assistance in removing the railing ? This lift has caused me so much unnecessary stress. I don’t think I was asking for too much.

From the selection of the appropriate product and through to its installation, I was very impressed by their level of attention and commitment to the customer that I received. I would unquestionably use AmeriGlide of Matietta again.
