I needed to take his BLS course for my credentialing at Emory Healthcare and I regret using his services. He canceled the class last minute the first week. Things come up so I figured no big deal. Then when the next week came around to take the BLS course he failed to show up at the site or even answer his phone. He also failed to answer any means of communication when I called and emailed throughout the week after his first cancellation. I paid $60 for the course and can’t even get a refund since he refuses to answer his phone or emails. It’s really unprofessional and a disappointing experience overall.

I enjoyed the class. They made it easy to understand. Made sure I understood and was satisfied with the amount of hands-on practice I received. It was a very positive experience

We had a large class of 25 dental professionals. They provided us wit state of the art equipment to practice on. There were sensors to detect effectiveness and real AEDs. The instructor was very professional and made it fun. I would highly recommend SHS for your CPR needs.

I took an ACLS renewal class here recently. They kept me up-to-date with any scheduling changes, I received reminders about my upcoming class. The class itself was great. The instructor went through the material slowly enough to make sure we understood it, while not dwelling too long on subjects we already knew. Social distancing was maintained, mannequins were disinfected prior to use. The also provided gloves and plenty of hand sanitizer. It was the first time I actually got to practice IO placement, rather than just watching a video about it, so that was plus for me. A smooth acls renewal overall.

Great class! The instructors are awesome and know their stuff. Because of them I feel very comfortable performing CPR and running a Code. I Highly recommend this class!

Derek is a great presenter and teacher. Simplifies confusing topics. He also coaches techniques in a very non-intimidating style. Today was my third course with Safety & Health Solutions--I will use them next CPR renewal.

Please be careful and read the fine print. I was running late today and they told me that I had to pay for another class. One of their employees stated that their first priority is to fill the seats so they can get paid. I believe that customer service is number one priority. if a customer is late reschedule them for another class that has vacant seats. That would be more appropriate and it is what other organizations do that arent money hungry. Good Luck!!

This was my first renewal and I must say I learned a great deal compared to my first class. Very informative and hands on. Great instructors.

Took a PALS class renewal. The class was a disappointment. The instructors were marginal and gave their own methods instead of what was in the AHA PALS Manuel. The mega code lacked structure and nothing was recorded in writing for the participants to reflect on as they completed steps and gauges what to do next. The instructor belittled participants and denied factual data in the AHA literature Manuel. The written exam had questions that the instructor agreed were “poorly worded” and “most people get wrong” yet they use those tests over and again. Why not throw out those questions and give the students credit. Yes, I passed but the class was a disappointment.

Great course! We had a small, 6 person class. This allowed Derek to give us a lot of attention and corrections to be sure we were using proper form.
