We used Karls and the Clever team to remodel our front portico. We needed to change an oversized and out of date portico to something more stylish and proportional to the home. I cannot say enough great things about Clever. From the estimating through to completion, Karls was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. His pricing was detailed and up front. There were no surprises when it came time for final payment. The craftsmanship was amazing -- they took our inspiration image and provided us with a version that suited both our home and our budget. Every person we interacted with on the Clever team represented the company well and provided stellar service and work. We would absolutely use Karls and the Clever team for our next project.

Karls and the team did an excellent job on our bathroom remodel. They were able to take our vision and make it come to life, complete with a custom vanity. The design included removing a wall to open up the space and not it features everything we had hoped for. Would recommend Clever Home to anyone interested in a complete bathroom remodel.

I have left 2 five reviews and didn’t see where I could delete them. I have tried very hard to avoid a negative review. However, after 2 years and still my problem is not resolved. Karl’s did a beautiful job of renovating my bathroom, no doubt. The issue is the quality of dry wall repair . After 4 calls to fix the spots on my ceiling, 2 days later, the same problems. I suggested that they put screws in the ceiling to fix the Nails coming out. They only hammered the nails back in. I have finally come to the realization that the person who does the drywall just doesn’t know how to fix it. Currently, there are 4 holes in my ceiling yet again.

Karl and his team were amazing from start to finish very well organized efficient and very professional. Karls and his team are the best contractors Ive ever done business with! We could not have predicted how this event wouldve turned out with the onset of COVID-19 just as our kitchen was being demoed! Our kids were now being taught from home amongst all of the chaos. The CleverHome team took the utmost care with every detail while being extremely considerate during such a dynamic situation. We truly feel as though they treated our family as their own. The quotes we received were itemized, upfront, and fair. No hidden fees or attempts to make money via change orders like many others. The work they performed (3 bathrooms, our kitchen/dining area, bookshelves in the den) was top-notch. Theyre meticulous about every detail. We were concerned about the limited space within our galley kitchen but didnt want to move load-bearing walls. Karls designed a layout that opened it more than we couldve imagined by shifting appliances and giving us more counter space to boot! While the attached photo doesnt do their work enough justice, I tried to capture the level of detail they bring down to the beautiful accent flower.

We had such a wonderful experience with Clever Home. They completely remodeled our original 1960s bathroom and it looked like a room in a brand new house when they were done. They worked quickly, were very respectful of the rest of our home while they were there, and the quality of the work done was exceptional. We talked to them about our budget in the planning stages, and they helped us make decisions that helped us stay right on budget. A great job overall!

We spent well over a year searching for the right contractor to remodel our master bathroom & it was well worth the wait! Karls and his crews (his tile team was amazing) were detail-oriented, communicative, considerate of our home (with 4 kids & a cat), clean (as clean as construction can be - ha!), flexible & customer focused. We were so impressed with the quality of their work that we had them expand & completely remodel our laundry room!Additionally, Karls has a design background & has master-level carpentry skills. He custom built our closets as well as several items in our laundry room. Karls has a self-proclaimed OCD personality which is perfect for his line of work. He is extremely meticulous about his work. I just finished a project with him and the entire process was such a breeze. When Karls came over to give us an estimate, he took his time, thought of a variety of ways to renovate our bathroom and gave us 2 estimates - one as a high end renovation and another more moderately priced. Karls offered more in his Reno than other estimates from other companies, but his estimate was 5,000 dollars less. He never tried to upscale anything. In fact, he often suggested less expensive options to save us money. Karls has many years of experience in construction and design. Would we use him again?
