Was able to walk in and get a cut, no appt necessary...the barber that cut my hair was very personable.

Been going here for years. Always a great hair cut! Staff is awesome and pricing on par. Treat yourself and get the traditional straight razor shave, too.

I have never been to a barber shop in my entire life. On my birthday I wanted to do something special and shave off my beard for the summer. I was totally impressed with the service and results. Will definitely go back!

After over 2 years of barbershop hopping I finally found a place that is great quality, clean, professional and great value. Highly recommend them, especially Sam. Lenore tried to be sweet, but really fell short of my expectations. Without asking me, she took off my widows peak (Which Ive NEVER had done nor had any professional barber recommend to me), she politely lectured me afterward my haircut that its good to know what size guard I normally get despite never even asking which guard I normally use, and refused to look at my reference picture more than once. She also never asked if I wanted a natural, rounded, or squared off back. It was obvious that she wanted me out of her chair halfway into my haircut after I had to tell her a 3rd time that I didnt want my hair combed back.I appreciate that they offer a service member and veteran discount.

I love the aesthetic of the shop. It reminds you of a simpler time. No fluff when getting your hair cut, just nice people who know what they are doing and good sports on TV. Samantha is hands down the best stylist there. She’s always so nice and always has a smile on her face. She makes me feel welcomed when I come in. Samantha is an amazing stylist with the best attention to detail! Very friendly, quick service and amazing at what she does. Ive been her client and friend at every barber shop shes been at. I came in yesterday for a MUCH needed hair cut, my barber was Sunny. She did an amazing job! I look and feel like a new person! Ive been here many times before, but this was my first time back since the renovation. The place looked great! Whats this about the bourbon though!? How come no one told me about this?? Id have loved a shot! ;) I highly recommend this shop, and Sunny!

This was my first time at a barber and its a great experience and service. Much better than the big name places you typical visit. Made me feel more than just a number. Sunny took pride in her work. I will say the check in process, if you want to call it that is a bit confusing because you dont know where you are in line or if you want someone specific person. But all in all it was great.

Sam is great. My son doesnt complain about getting a haircut. She also listens and pays attention to the details.

Fantastic place. Needed to get a shave before a job interview. The woman did a great job. Hot face towels, straight razor, leaned-back chair, hot shaving cream. Absolutely awesome beard and she. Will definitely go back.

The staff is friendly and talented. Beer and shots available if you are so inclined. Going to the barber has become a father/son event in my house and the team here just couldnt be better with him.

The haircut is great. The wait is horrible.I came in around 9:30am on a Thursday and there was only 1 barber working. I was next in line and it took an hour for the barber to finish the person in front of me (haircut and shave). A couple people came in, waited, and then walked out. I was tempted to walk out numerous times, but decided to exercise my patience since I was next in line.Im not sure how they make money by spending over an hour on one person for $38 (cost of haircut and shave) and having other customers walk away.

It only takes one experience to ruin how you feel about an establishment, you go to a restaurant, you get sick once.. Youll not go there again, you go to a barber, it goes right 10 times, but it goes wrong once.. The woman that trimmed my beard, didnt know the difference between a beard and a goatee, I told her to trim the sides a little, clean it up, she removed half my beard and left me with a goatee, used to be a regular customer but now Im never coming here again.

This place is great. $16 for an incredible haircut. I’ve had two different barbers here and both were great. Definitely the place to go.

I have been going to Barker Jackson for about two years solid now. I have received a hair cut from every barber. The only one that exceeded my expectation was Darian. Not just his skill set and quality of his trait but his customer service and customer relations is impeccable. If you get your hair cut, request him, you will be a very satisfied customer. Plus he makes it a personal and fun experience, like you have known him for years. Dean can be a good back up if you can’t get Darian.

They are really good, some time litle wait but weekday are nice. Always go there for my son and mine haircut. They should start giving head message as well after hair cut.

I come here all the time. Freshly renovated. The staff is very friendly. You can have great conversations and debates here and no one judges you! They do a hot towel cleanup after they finish. I have never seen this anywhere else.

I went in for a haircut this afternoon and was very disappointed. I have been going there a long time and always had Dean cut my hair and alway been very satisfied. Today I let the blond lady that works next to him cut my hair. Never again, it was the worst haircut I have ever gotten. 😠😠😠

I’ve had my hair cut by a number of salons and barber shops, but there was something that separated this barber from all the others; Emory! As a guy who is extremely detailed oriented, I was glad to have found this place. Most barbers can do a decent hot shave or use a pair of clippers, but Emory went even beyond my expectations. He is a true artist when it comes to cutting hair and it shows in his finished product. As most guys know when you find someone as special and talented as Emory you stick with them. After all, he’s single handedly making you look your best. Since Emory didn’t take appointments, one day I showed up and was told he didn’t work there any longer. Feeling completely devastated, I asked where he went because my loyalty lied with Emory and not Barker Jackson. Unfortunately, the girl working behind the counter didn’t understand what it means to work in a customer service industry. It was a very rude and unpleasant experience which I’m sure doesn’t portray Barker Jackson as a whole. Thank heavens I found Emory still working at the other Barker Jackson location in Marietta. I’ll definitely be driving further just to have him cut my hair. I’m sure many others who feel the same way. So fella’s if you need a recommendation, while I’m sure there are plenty of decent barbers out there, do yourself a favor and go see Emory! You can thank me later.

Have gone several times... Couldn’t be happier/pleased with the cut & overall service from Darian. As long as he’s working there, I’ll be a Barker-Jackson loyalist. Nice old-school vibe of a classic era of a men’s barbershop.

DONT CUT YOUR HAIR HEREOne side is significantly buzzed not matching the other side. I ask to fix it before paying and we sat back down he did some work. He still didnt see the issue so I paid and left with half a buzzed head and an uneven neck line. Not cool Emory.

Dean is a great barber. His 37 years of experience really shows. Shop is clean and well maintained.

The barbers cape that was put on me had hair all over it. It looked like from the 2 previous clients that got their hair cut. I do not recommend getting your beard trimmed here. I dont think she had any experience. When I got home my left side of my beard was so noticeably I ever compared to my right side. Also, I asked for my beard to be faded going down to my chin and she cut out on #2 clipper on my long beard and just buzzed off the side of my face. I looked like Hulk Hogan from the NWO. Never again...
