I have an above ground pool and have been coming here for over 3 years. Since i have not been able to find a pool service willing to clean a vinyl pool, my family has taken on the task ourselves. Although above ground pools are not their specialty, they have always given us the great service with chemicals, water testing, and even help when we needed parts. I have recently upgraded our pump and was able to get fittings and hoses at pinch a penny.

This place Feels Like Home, always a warm welcome from Ally and Romero, who always hand deliver the chlorine to our car. Each and every time they check in personally and make sure that everything is going good balancing our chemicals. They offer great suggestions and help us save money, while we are in the store, thanks for caring and making the world a better place!

Romero was excellent, very professional. Felt like we werent being taken for all of our pennys. The store wouldnt make it without him. Now for someone to own the store, and cant back-up a product with first hand knowledge and feed us BS about what that product can do which it do not do shouldnt amaze us. Then she has an attitude with us. Very OVER PRICED. We left never to do business with Pinch-a-Penny and now at Leslies Pool Supplies. Plus they have VA (Veterans) discount and Pinch a Penny does not honor those who care for others and not their personal greed.

I am new to the area, knew nothing about my pool. Pinch A Penny came out and provided me with a quote for a Pentair Variable speed pump on site. It was installed 2 days later. The technician was very Knowledgeable in explaining how to work my equipment and Pinch A Penny helped me take care of my pool. Highly recommend this store.Thanks Danielle!!

I went to this store to get an analysis of my FC, Ph, TA, CH, and CYA as another chain store gave me readings that I knew were not true....I told Romero what had happened and I needed a true accurate readout to support my newly resurfaced pools warranty. His findings were extremely close to my tests with a Taylor 2006 test kit I have been using for about 10 years. It was obvious that the other chain store was only trying to dupe me in to buying chemicals I didnt need....I will continue to support this Pinch a Penny store as they gave me an honest test for my warranty and will purchase my Chlorine and replacement chemicals for my Taylor 2006 test kit, etc from them......John

They are always so professional, and never try to sell me anything I do not need for my pool. The staff goes above qnd beyond with customer service

Read the review online, thought it would be nice. Not really, wanted me to spend more money. Declined to spend more, so stopped answering the questions. Waited more than 10 minutes just to know where the part goes - I would not return to the store again. Will try other pinch a penny

Terrible service. Stay as far away as possible. My pool was green thrth different times in two months. These are the biggest incompetent people you can imagine.They have absolutely zero Costner service. Zero accountability.I dont even know how this place is still open.I was going to Leslies Pool Service before but decided to try it this location out since it was a little bit closer and I regret doing that.If you like your pool green like a swamp then please give them a shot

Have been a customer for year excellent service until now ! new owner are very rude went to buy chlorine they left the top unscrew ruined my pants and shirt when right back to her and she agree to pay for it.On my next visit I mention it to her and she refuse to pay she wanted receipt for the clothes who saves receipts! All they want to do is push chemical that you dont need..Well not be going back!

As pool stores go, Pinch a Penny is adequate. They have the essentials but not much else. However, if you are really trying to pinch a penny, its not going to happen here. Prices are considerably higher on the same things you can find in a lot of other places.

Everything I needed available at reasonable price free water testing by professionals help me out of a bind

Went in to return 7 empty jugs and refill 1 jug. I was advised that I couldnt get my return refund without a receipt. A flyer posted by the register advertised a decreased refund amount for returned jugs after 30 days WITHOUT a receipt. When I questioned the cashier about the posted policy, he said it was a personal policy not to accept the empty jugs, as well as a store policy. I asked to speak to a manager and was told by the cashier that he was the manager. When I asked who was above him, he indicated that the store owner, his mother, Dorelle Norlin, was the owner. I find it interesting that its the children whose parents give them job opportunities are least concerned about poor customer service... Not to mention, apparently this small business doesnt follow their own posted return policies. Horrible service, shady business practices. Will reserve edits to this review until after Tuesday when Mommy returns to work.

Cost me more money than anything. they test the water for free then print you out a recipe of doses for your pool...problem is every 2wks its something different and more money..got so bad to the point my once clear pool became fogged to the point i needed a new filter because of the clayish goo build up...since i went saltwater 2yrs ago and have been maintaining it myself just by watching a few videos..i can say im glad im off the pinch a penny pipe wagon..different h

Helpful customer service, but everything is very over priced😩. They tried to sell me replacement pool hose for $200 when the COULD have sold me a generic. hose for $45 with an adapter. They are after you cash first, not trying to save you money even when asked fo a cheaper option. That’s ok, I went to Walmart next door and purchased a pool hose foR $25.00!

I go there every other week for chlorine and everyone is always helpful.

Clean store but i had to carry two very heavy chlorine jugs out to my car while to able bodied men sat doing absolutely nothing. Ive been to other locations but this is the first time ive ever had to carry the jugs by myself. I wont be returning to this location
