J&J towed from a property that didnt have there name on none of the entrances, did not reported the tow to law enforcement in a lawful manner claiming the vehicle was not registered although license plate was clearly displaying, July 2022, the MAKE and MODEL was clearly visible along with the COLOR, so how it not entered in the police tow logs? where can I seek Justice?pop

The guy behind the window was nice, the tow truck driver was driving like a maniac reversing and pulling forward at 40 and 50mph until he finally picked up a car and flying out with it, at one point he almost took down his fence and me with it.. and im not exaggerating either. Dude is a loose cannon and needs to be stopped.

This company rarely came when called to haul cars illegally parked off of our private property. After reading the numerous bad reviews I guess I’m not surprised, though I’m extremely disheartened. Hopefully everyone will do like I will and report this business to the Attorney General. Sounds like they could use an investigation into their business practices.

$2000.00 charge for towing 18 wheeler. i did not ask driver name but very rude and unprofessional. all they care is money that all. i would not recommend this company. bad business.

Eddy was GREAT, very nice, very professional and friendly. I absolutely loved him, however JUDY needs to work on her customer service skills and actually listen to people. I told her I needed a flat bed and she still sent eddy out with the wrong truck. I was waiting for 3 hours I had to call her and find out what was going on instead of her reaching out to me to let me know that the previous rep was stuck on another job. Luckily eddy had the tools to assist with my car being towed. That was just crazy that I had to wait that long for someone without even a courtesy call. My needs were met thankfully but I’m disappointed in the service Judy provided me with.

I WAS DIRECTED TO THIS TOWING COMPANY THROUGH MY MAZDA ROADSIDE BECAUSE I SOMEHOW ENABLED THE SECURITY SYSTEM AND LOCKED MYSELF OUT OF STARTING MY OWN VEHICLE SO I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO DO, AND SO WHEN AXEL SHOWED UP HE KNEW EXACTLY HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM AND HE WAS WONDERFUL. WORE HIS MASK AND I ASKED TO PUT GLOVES ON (COVID) AND I GAVE HIM A PAIR AND HE DID IT WITH NO PROBLEMS. HE FIXED MY CAR IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES. HE IS WONDERFUL!!!!!! THANK YOU AXEL

Imagine being stranded in an unsafe neighborhood after work, where homeless people are tapping on your window as you wait over 2 hours for a towing company that was to arrive within 100 minutes according to the HUM app through Verizon. After the minutes counted down from 100 to 22 to 3 minutes, a driver called to inform us they JUST RECEIVED the call and it should be 20 minutes. We were surprised because the app stated they were 3 minutes away. Then he said, Oh, I mean Im 5 minutes away. Then it counted down again and went to 25 minutes. My safety is at their will. A female operator called me back and stated they received a police call and they trumped us. Fine... can you find me someone else? She said yes. Guess what? She canceled the service. She lied and stated that I wanted the cancel. 3.5 hours later, I am still waiting.If you like waiting and having your life and property placed in danger, this is the company to do it.

Bad attitude blames next caller for theyre previous experience. Called asking ETA and they gave a new ETA and just hang up in your face. Tow truck was very late.

This company is a extortion ring and needs to be put out of business! How does this company help people. The majority of the money they make is from towing a persons car that is in there name and paid for and hold your car thats in your name that you paid for for a price this should be illegal and their professionalism is of a 2nd grade level it was amazing to me that a company that doesnt help people in any way shape or form can be allowed to roam free and terrorize people

Im not sure why State Farm is affiliated with such an unprofessional company. Next time, I will push my car before I get a tow from this place. The driver had an attitude and towed my vehicle to THE WRONG PLACE. I called the company to see if I could pay extra to get it towed to the correct place and the dispatcher said shes leaving at 6 (it was about 5:49), threatened to cancel the entire tow, told me to call State Farm then HUNG UP ON ME. Disgusting!

If I could give them negative 10 stars I would. Why Progressive or any insurance company would do business with them is beyond me. The “owner” Jane, who I don’t think is even the owner, hung up on me after I told her I was still on hold with my insurance company about an issue with overage charges with towing. Any overage towing costs I have always paid directly to my insurance company and I wanted to speak to them before giving out my card information to a random towing company. I was never asked for payment when they picked up the car and her own dispatch who originally called me said they messed up and should have informed me of extra charges before taking the car. After I was hung up on because of her impatience, I called back and she continued to argue with me and threatened to take my car to her lot if she did not get payment from me immediately. She essentially backed me into a corner and I had to pay her or risk my car being taken to a random lot and possible further damage to my car because anyone could tell they don’t care about their customers or their property. If I ever need a tow, I will never allow my insurance company to use them again and I will make sure to tell everyone to avoid them as well. They claim to have been in business for over 30 years. If that is true, I feel bad for all the people over the last 30 years who have had to deal with them.

J&J Towing are the worst. I was helping an 87 year old lady on oxygen, with a full trunk of groceries, who got a flat tire. J & J were dispatched with an arrival time of 30 mins. 45 mins later, I called to make sure they were coming to the right address and if soon. Rude lady hung up on me. At the hour mark, I called again and they said they had already come and gone. They went to the wrong address. I tried to get them to come to the right address, that I gave them twice, and they hung up on me again. Grim Reaper Towing was dispatched next and they were AWESOME.

My insurance company attempted to use J & J towing for service, after a long wait time I called them to see how long it was going to take, the person on the phone had an extremely unprofessional rude attitude and was very condescending, he told me they canceled because they were unable to reach me, however, I was unaware of this. When my insurance company called them again to have them dispatch a truck, this person was also extremely rude to my insurance company agent. needless to say went with another company. RUDE!! Not exactly the behavior you need when you are already having a not so good day.

The Tow truck driver was very rude when ask nicely to put the car in the right spot. He ignored the request and Began to drive off laughing and smiling. I went down to his job site to speak with the manager and they gave terrible customer service After I explain to them the issue I was having with the tow truck driver they asked me to leave and they slam the door right in my face. My insurance company dispatched them to me today after my truck was rear ended and barely able to drive. The driver pulled up and his first 2 questions were “who are you and why am I here?” He also informed me your office didn’t notify him why he was called to go pick up my truck. Communication was obviously at a loss but I thought a call involving an accident is a “no brainer” on why he is needed. Add a totaled truck and a guy waiting for him for an hour and its a slam dunk on his purpose for the visit. Apparently I needed a neon sign. Thanks for nothing.

Called through my insurance company for a tow. J&J was contracted out to come get my car. Called to get an ETA and was told, Im sending the truck out now and promptly hung up on by the woman on the phone while I was trying to explain something. However, the driver that arrived, Leo, was very professional and patient. He waited until we got the location for drop off sorted out with the insurance company (they initially gave him an incorrect address), and when I called the repair shop that my car was dropped off at, it was in the correct location with no damage to the car and the key in the right spot. Im very pleased with his professionalism and would feel comfortable with him towing my car again (although hopefully I wont need it!)

It says it’s a family owned business but they don’t care at all. I have no idea why I got an operator Lein on my record and when I asked them for help if becomes the hardest to get any type of information. She was trying to get off the phone. I explain my situation and she says there’s nothing she can do and hangs up on me. I swear this world isn’t fair I don’t understand why people can be so cruel.

My car would not start and required towing to a dealer at my own expense. I was referred here by another towing company that could not get my car today. Although google says the company is closed saturday, by some miracle, they were working on the day I needed them the most. Being that I was located in the same city as both the towing company and Dealership, they gave me a flat rate fee that was very reasonable. Jeffery came in a wheel tow truck and picked up my car within 15 minutes of being called. I could not have had a better experience. Highly recommend J&J Towing.

These people are morons. Not only do they answer your questions incorrectly, but they also scam people they tow. They told me my car was towed from my apt complex on a Thursday, but it was still there Friday morning, so they were trying to charge me an extra day. They are liars and crooks! I asked them what time they were open until because I needed to pick up my car, they told me 24 hours just call an hour ahead. I call an hour ahead, they tell me theyre closed. I ask if I can pick it up Saturday, they said yes were open. Didnt mention they closed at 1 or thats its cash only. It cost me $230 when they had my car 1 DAY! Horrible service. Do not use them!

After waiting for over an hour for a tow truck, I called back only to be told that it would be another hour because the dispatcher still didnt have any trucks in the area and that if I wanted a timely tow I should call someone else because he was going to get there whenever he got there. Very unprofessional and was told to call AAA if I was in a rush. I did and they were there in 30 minutes with professional, timely, service.

Broke dow in the middle of the night on I-95, a gentleman name Shane was very quickly and helpfull getting my truck to a safe place. Highly recommended tow company for heavy-duty needs. A+

I showed up to this impound after I had a serious accident on I95. While I was in the hospital, they had towed my car off the highway. I arrived, still with fresh injuries and blood literally leaking from my head and bandages. Was I greeted professionally and addressed properly? Of course not. They actually made some jokes about my injuries before they even asked why I was there. To sum this up, these were the rudest people who took my property and proceeded to threaten that if I didnt pay them what they wanted, they would put a lien on my vehicle and told me I would not be able to tag or title another vehicle. There was no understanding, there was no consideration. It was nothing but miserable negativity that feeds off the misfortune of others. They acted as if they couldnt be bothered with me unless it was to insult me. Like they were doing me a favor to even talk to me. They even tried to charge me an extra $135 on top of the already ridiculous sum they were asking, to put plastic on the windows of my totaled car. $135 for two pieces of plastic that looked like clear garbage bags and they fell off the windows almost immediately. This is a place where they scam you as much as they can while you are vulnerable. How would it ever cost $500+ to hold my car for less than 24 hours? When I arrived with the cash to pick up my car, I could see the disdain in the eyes of the troll that took my money. He clearly was upset that they didnt have enough time to rip me off further. This review wont matter in the least but this place is nothing but a bunch of low down, bottom feeding, miserable crooks, the lot of them.

I would NEVER use this company. The. Worst. Customer. Service. EVER! I waited for over 1 1/2 hours and when I called to check I was told we will get there when we get there. All while I sit with a young child in the car after an accident.This was handled through roadside assistance with Chrysler. I will pursue them no longer being a provider for roadside assistance.

This people are proffesional thieves!!! The driver responsible for picking up my vehicle, while i was at work, stole my keys. He didnt tow the car and used their laws to protect their company from my claim since the driver didnt tow your car, we arent responsible for the loss of the key..... Lets put 2 and 2 together, the driver knew he couldve gotten away with this by not towing my vehicle so he left it behind... did he really needed the car for the tow? NOPE!!

Do not ever use this company. I called them to tow my fifth wheel to Fort Lauderdale RV because one of the slide outs wasnt working. They backed the fifth wheel into my carport, completely smashing the ladder and breaking the seal with the thermal roof that was used to repair a previous leak. There were no active leaks in the unit before it left my driveway, but there sure were after that happened. You do the math. I was led to believe by the driver that he was sure that since J&J did so much business with Ft. Lauderdale RV they would repair it and if they didnt J&J would take responsibility and I was stupid enough to believe him and pay for the tow. Although they were told by the tow truck driver and myself the RV repair shop acted like they didnt know about it and told me it was between me and the towing company. They didnt repair it letting my fifth wheel leak and rot for approximately 1 1/2 months before they discovered that it was totally flooded. I called J&J multiple times during that period to report what had happened and get their insurance info. They refused to give me their insurance information or acknowledge any responsibility. They kept giving me the run around saying that they would call me back, but they never did. In the end they never called back at all and never took any responsibility for possibly ruining my fifth wheel which I was forced to basically give away the fifth wheel that I had just paid $8,000 for.

They left my vehicle with a detached and dangling muffler, damaged front lip/fender, and a flat tire. Clearly it was dropped on the ground like an infant with their flimsy forklifts (unprofessional and lazy). Employees were more concerned about telling me what a nice ride it is than anything else.

Twice I had to have my car towed within 3 days of each other. This company was prompt and professional. I had repairs done on my car by one of the big name brand shops, but it seems Manny, Moe and Jack on Copans Rd are terrible at there jobs because my car kept having the same issue. Anyway, William from J&J Towing picked me and my car up and towed it to the dealership. He knew just who I was gong to see and what to expect. He also gave me some advice on some trustworthy shops near my home. Thats good service.

After the item retrieval, we went inside to inquire about our door. Joseph Cammarata (the owner) never introduced himself to us, but sat in the lobby and proceeded to interrogate us as to why our vehicle was locked when my husband was transported to the hospital from the scene of the accident. The office then summoned the man (Harry) who towed our vehicle and he stormed inside of the office with an attitude as though we were offending him by asking about what happened to our door.We return to the vehicle and the door finally opens but a shouting match ensued when my husband mentioned all of the scratches that were inside the door from the unprofessional door opening methods.Finally, when everyone calmed down, Cammarata began apologizing to us for his and his employee’s behavior. The entire time he kept trying to assure us that he was not a prejudice person and that if anything was wrong with the door, he would have it fixed.Joseph Cammarata is unprofessional and I have no idea how he has stayed in business this long with the disgusting way that he attacks customers. I was told I would be charged one price to have my car towed.When I got to the shop to pay the amount that was agreed on. They completely switch the script and charged me an outrageous amount.This company is full of scam artist and i will never do business here again completly outrageous.

Dont know if the guy answering is a moron, or what, but doesnt like towing cars illegally parked and making money apparently.

They are a bunch of crooks like many towing companies, only these crooks have the backing of the Margate Police department. My car was the last car hit in a several car crash that later became a traffic homicide so Margate Police had to hold the vehicles per investigation even mine that had nothing to do with the homicide part. Well now, using the local police department to commit this theft, although I will be eventually reimbursed by the at fault insurance. I have to pay for the tow a whopping $85 per half hour they were on the scene amd $25 per day storage until I can pay and they sell it at auction if I dont buy back my own car which I never authorized a private company to tow (I was told its all through the local police, and never signed anything). Please do not get your car towed by them you will regret it just a group of crooks that do it legally who do not deserve your business Update: They towed the car half a mile and charged me $250 to pick it up !!
