I’m so sorry to have to write this review as I almost never get upset with poor service but here we are… Please NEVER use this place for grooming. I had booked a groom for my dog and requested an ‘express’ service meaning they wash/cut/dry straight through rather than sticking them in cages in between each. My appointment was for 12:30 and I walked in at 12:33 to a line of dogs and owners in front of me. I waited for about 5 minutes before a staff member greeted me to check in. I told her my name and appointment and she asked if I’d been here directly at 12:30 I said I came in 3 mins late and she told me she was too busy and couldn’t groom my dog. She said she “wouldn’t have time to safely groom her.” But- here’s the thing- if I had lied and said yes that I was there THREE minutes earlier she would have take my dog for her groom. Obviously they have poor booking and schedule management and needed to cut someone out from the schedule. The worst part was how incredibly rude and unhelpful Ariel was. She made it seem that I was dreadfully late for being 3 mins late and gave no helpful options for rescheduling or problem solving. With dogs and pets, unexpected things happen, and if you can’t expend 3 minutes in your schedule then what happens if a dog needs extra time during the groom or a rest? Do you just force them through? I will never be going here and am so disappointed with Ariel’s customer service.

I dont think the employee who helped me with finding a harness for my cat had much knowledge about cats. Told him and pointed to my cat that he is a big boy. That cats harnesses are too small for him. He still brought me to the cats stuff. Then when I repeated it to him he told me the dogs harnesses isnt made for cat. He did brought me to the dog aisle. He didnt even looked at my cat. And hardly said a word to me. They need to make sure employees are knowledgeable about what to buy.

I went in to get my dog a new collar. At the check out I noticed a kiosk to make tags. I asked the associate how I would go about doing that. At another pet store I had to purchase tokens separately. She explained the process to me and offered to come over and help me if I needed assisting. She was very pleasant and sweet.

We were looking for a kitten to adopt. There were no options to fill out an application there, only online. There was no way to adopt and bring home that day. Its a 24-48 hour delay. By the time our applications were in, the cats we were interested in were already adopted. You cant bring your kid and get their hopes up. There needs to be a centralized application process when you show adoptable animals at a petsmart that you can get pre-approved and be able to adopt and bring home immediately. That way when you have a kid that has special needs you can find out if they bond with an animal and have that animal available for adoption immediately. Adopting used to be so easy. You could fall in love and be able to adopt them right there. Im all for safety and good pet parenting, but there has to be a more efficient and easier way to do this. Maybe registering with your local humane society, getting pre-screened and getting an approval card.

Heartbreaking... I went into the store tonight and noticed that one of the baby chameleons was upside down, struggling to get back up. I asked the girl with a brown ponytail to help it back up and she seemed like she didnt care and rolled her eyes, and walked away to chat with other customers. I got frustrated as she told me someone else will take care of it and 10+minutes pass no help, the poor baby is still struggling, getting slower now. I ask the big guy to help me and he gets rude and tells me hes too busy and walks away from me as well. Those two were the only employees beside a new girl who they had all alone at register helping many frustrated customers who also had rude remarks from the two other employees. Everyone there was frustrated and some other people were gathered to notice the chameleon at this point. 30-40 minutes pass I desperately beg them to get it up, it turned yellow, then black spots like he couldnt breathe and then he stopped moving .. he started turning black. I get so upset and I finally see a manager come in store and he runs over. He was the only one who cared at all and listened to me and actually ran over. He was the only respectful employee tonight besides the poor new girl as well. The manager tried to pick up the chameleon, this point he was dead. I literally watched the baby die and not get to live a life at all as the other employees just ignored it. Idk how long they had neglected it upside down. I broke out in tears and I cant even put into words how mad I am at the two employees. It broke my heart. Then I had no other help in the store and no one could do my price check or help anyone else out. So sad. the girl especially should be fired for letting him die especially as people BEGGED TO HELP HIM

Please remember managers at PetSmart are not veterinarians and maybe consult your actual veterinarian for dietary advice in cases like diarrhea or constipation. Also, GI foods and Forta Flora do not just reset the GI and constipation in cats can be related to more severe health problems and abruptly changing food can make things worse in any case!

Mary was extremely helpful and we will from here on our look for her when we shop at Petsmart! Matt on the other hand was super rude and unprofessional. We experienced an interaction between him and another employee where he was completely out of line. If I had to work under his management I would quit in a heartbeat. Thank you Mary for your help! I came to the store interested in adoption of a kitty. I have tried to find service personnel for at least 30 minutes, and when finally I was able to get their attention, they were rude about everything. I got a chance to play with kitty, but apparently they have changed how they adopt and you supposed fill the application online. I did and kitty unfortunately was already adopted, but personnel never said a word about it. The service personnel was very uninterested in trying to help me and was extremely rude.

Love this location! Great selection of supplies for our pets (fish and puppy) plus Banfield pet hospital on location has always been great to us. The only frustration Ive run into on occasion is that theyre typically seemingly understaffed. However, it doesnt seem to be from a lack of trying as they have Now Hiring materials everywhere. Just difficult when waiting in a long checkout line with a single bag of dog food, etc.

Store is fine, a lot of options. They have cats for adoption as well, and a vet clinic attached I believe. The only thing I would suggest to make business better would be more prompt cashier attention. Its been a few times there had been 1 sole cashier and a large line. I dont mind waiting because the service is always nice however.

Covid-19 rules this store . Barriers at animal class booth, and at cashiers lane and at grooming. Stock almost back to normal, floors are cleaned up right now after duties . Isiles are clean and well managed.these are still standard width sAda parking up front doors are electronic open /close cart for wheelchairs, sales person at department s . I love this location. The employees are so sweet, helpful, and know my fiance & I very well. We frequent PetSmart a couple times a week. ( picky feline) HOWEVER I wanted to edit this review because PetSmart recently put a new cat food made by Wellness on the shelves. I refuse to feed my cat anything with by products. Its high in protein, freeze dried RAW protein bites, and kibble. - trying to transition her to raw completely. This kibble seems to be accurate to its packaging. Its affordable and Im pretty happy with the product and my tortie hasnt stuck her nose up to her food in a few months. (YESSSSS!)

I was out of dry cat food, for two cats, and made a last minute stop, two minutes before they close. I was so happy they were still open and didnt lock the front doors early. I was going to buy a 6 lb. bag, but instead, bought the 14, because thats the kind of business I like. Im a rewards member, and they had a sale on it too, no other coupons needed. The guy at the register was friendly and fast, and we had a nice two minute conversation about MN State Fair food as he was tending to my purchase. I would definitely shop here again if Im in the area.

We were looking for life vests including PetCo without too many choices or availability. PetSmart had it in stock, customer service was excellent and friendly. The only thing was the sizing was pretty lame, according to the product chart I shouldve bought an extra small and medium... The husky didnt fit the medium nor the large, had to buy an extra large for him. For the shih Tzu had to buy the medium.

Always understaffed. Will have line half way to back of store waiting to check out and only one cashier. Have come here twice now in last two weeks to buy a lizard and no one has been there to help. Walked out not buying anything. If you are a very, very patient person, then good place as prices are reasonable. But if not, consider elsewhere.

Great staff pretty easy to get your pet in with in the same day or next if something is wrong. Prices bit high but 2 dogs 40.00 bucks a month 1 just got neutered that alone saved me hundreds of dollars. Just started taking my puppy and my 2 & half year old dog there Oct and have already saved over a grand with shots and neutering. So not to bad.

I informed the woman with glasses and pink streaks that the litter boxes were beyond full as seen in pics. I kindly asked her to clean them she claimed she was unable to do however she would get someone to clean them however she never did just simply ignored the request and continues to let the kittens up for adoption deal with such conditions! This is terrible when the woman with glasses would rather profile and harass customers rather than care for an animal at a pet store! Going to take my business elsewhere.

This has always been a good store and with the pandemic the employees have really stepped up their game. It was always a clean store but my goodness they somehow made it cleaner. I dont know how they did, but I want to bring them home and have them work on my house.Always friendly employees. I really appreciate that if an employee doesnt know about my reptile they let me know who is working that could answer questions. There is an overall bad reputation chain stores have with knowledge about exotic pets, but for this store that is not true. Adequate UVB, supplementing, varied diet, large enclosure that the store probably doesnt even sell for adult sized lizard they know their stuff.

Line was horrendous. After waiting in line a really long time, it was my turn. As I approached I shared I needed a carry out & they indicated nothing. They rang up & I expressed again I needed a carry out, still nothing. As my payment finish I stated again I needed a carry out. They said I would have to wait. I was confused as to what I would be waiting for. I was like what???? The cashier said I would have to wait for either him or this other person, they have yet to inform I need help w/ my stuff. Cashier said I would need to wait for after the customers in line. I stated I am a customer & have already waited! I need my carry out now. Im not going to continue to wait, especially after people that had gotten there after me!This couple in line, right behind, one of them says I can help you as Im about to get louder for the lake of help this is offered. I asked if they were sure & that person sav d the day.You need to have flat bed carts & even better enough/smart enough staff to help your customers. I weight 100 & had 4 bags of 40lb kitty litter in a cart. I can get it in a cart. Unfortunately, too deep to get out of the cart. Thanks for nothing!Thank you though to the awesome community member that was able to o help out at the last min! Their kitty has an awesome parent!!!

I accompanied my mother to get her dogs groomed, one was severely matted. Danielle and James got the job done, and even assisted with a last minute reschedule. Dogs look great, and even better, they feel great. Awesome feeling to see the smile on my mother’s face! Danielle and James were both friendly and informative. Thank you both so very much! Good service and good people do still exist! Another plus, is the cute fish and tank that I was able to purchase for my sons. Let’s see how well they do with their first pet! Everyone is very nice here and they have a great selection of food, pets, and decor. I dont want to take away from the good here. I also cant speak on the vet or training done here.however the state of the aquarium tanks are just heartbreaking. all tanks share water meaning anything that dies in one tank is cycled to every other tank. no thought has gone in to the different needs of different species. I wouldnt recommend buying anything from their tanks, even plants, as you might just bring home a few unwanted surprises in the form of an invasive species or some random disease
