This was my third move with Harrington. My first two moves was effortless and I didn’t have to worry . This last move was the worst experience. As I’m unpacking my furniture with their coverings that was left behind ( Which I had to rent when my things where in storage) two out of three bedroom sets are broken. Kitchen chairs broken. I had to tear down my banisters to get items upstairs. The previous owners had a house full of furniture … go figure. Then I was being followed around the house being asked for individual tips. Now I have to be inconvenienced to fill out a form just in turn not to get reimbursed. ( being a realist ) And yes, I bought the insurance all three times. Good luck with your move.

All of the staff at Harrington were wonderful during the entire process. We got multiple quotes from companies and Harringtons was the best option for us, especially because they confidently predicted exactly how many boxes, trucks, and movers we would require and were correct! The 4 person team who moved us were so fast, clean, respectful and understanding about all of our items. We honestly had FUN moving with this team! They were good humored, light hearted and patient throughout the day. It made moving so much less intimidating. HIRE HARRINGTON!! You wont regret it!

My family used this company when we moved to our NJ home in June 2021. They arrived on time and appeared to have been working efficiently when packing our furniture, but upon arrival at our new home this same professionalism did not continue. The workers became very lazy and tired and spoke poorly of my father during the move. They kept taking breaks and were unpacking our furniture very slowly, and left many new scratches and damage marks on the furniture during this process. Lastly, I was unable to locate a brand new pair of sneakers I owned once we moved in, and the only logical conclusion I can come to is that one of the worker’s stole them.I would not recommend this company.

Harrington did an outstanding job with our residential move from NJ to Long Island. This is the second time we used Harrington and will no doubt use them again for any future moves. Their crew was prompt and professional. No damage to any of our belongings. We highly recommend them!

I give Harringtons 3.5 stars.The Pros - Showed up on time. 1 day to pack and 1 day to move. Only our household was on the truck but if planning on using Harringtons make sure you ask about number of households on the truck. They also delivered our furniture pretty quick and arrived when they said they would.The Cons: I wasnt pleased with some of the packing. Somethings they threw in a box without wrapping. For furniture they used clear tape to hold the blankets on which left a sticky residue that is hard to remove. OUr flat screen TV arrived damaged and 2 of our dressers were missing knobs. There were little items broken but I always figured some damaged.We did not take out insurance so far the dresser knobs and the tv they offered us $26. They did mention that insurance was estimated by the pound.Upon delivery, our furniture was not put back together properly like our sons bunk beds.Learn from my mistakes: ask about insurance and delivery. We did not want to be with other households. Some workers were great others were careless.

Harrington is a first class operation. We had a very complicated situation and Jeff and his team did everything and more to accommodate us. Not to mention the movers were very efficient, yet careful, and very professional. We also really appreciated that the pricing was very transparent and the whole process came as advertised. We lucked out finding Harrington Movers and highly recommend them.

I used this moving company for the first time in December 2020. I was very happy with the service. The price was very reasonable and competitive. The movers were very diligent and respectful. The movers arrived on time and explained how they would pack and where they would start. They also provided an estimate time on how long it would take to pack the first condo. The movers were very nice and worked very hard. I have no complaints whatsoever! They were very professional and handled all of my furniture with care. I even had them put together some Wayfair furniture that was still in the box and a 75 inch screen TV that was still in the box. They put it all together for me. They assembled all of my furniture. By the time they left, my entire home was completely done with the exception of the boxes holding misc items of course. I would absolutely recommend Harrington Moving and plan to keep them in mind for my next move. The owner Jeff was very gracious and made sure my move was done successfully. Great job!!!!

They moved us - supplied all the materials we asked for, were courteous, timely at both ends of the moving situation. Overall they were fast, efficient with no problems..

I believe there will be errors along the way. I hired Harrington movers to move me from NJ to Fl. I received 3:different quotes, initial quote $3400.00, second quotes $4500, 3 quote almost gave me a heart attack, $11,000 for a one bedroom apartment and living room move. After contacting Jeff, an error was made final amount due after 4 different quotes was $5100. Make sure before moving you LOCK IN YOUR QUOATE.

Working with this company was excellent. We left NJ prior to our new home being ready for move in. Harrington Movers moved our belongings out, stored them, and then delivered everything to us a month later without a hitch. The crews (both sets) were courteous, professional, punctual, and really worked hard. When we ran into scheduling issues due to a change in the closing date on short notice, I spoke to Jeff Harrington, and he was both understanding and reassuring. He and his staff (including the assistants Michele and Gloria (?) and the estimator (Erv) were all professional and easy to communicate with. Our experience was nothing less than perfect.

We used Harrington Moving & Storage about a month ago for our local move. They did an outstanding job and the guys couldnt have been a nicer group. They went out of their way to help in every way possible. They didnt even get annoyed with me when I changed my mind about where I wanted things in the new house and happily switched things around. They also did our packing and did a great job and even helped with cleanup as we unpacked taking the boxes and packing materials. I was nervous the actual price was going to be much higher than my quote but it was within a couple hundred of dollars. I was pleasantly surprised how seamless our move went because of Harrington. I would strongly recommend and use them again in a heartbeat.

What a great experience. We hired Harrington to move a 280lb vanity to our second floor bathroom. They made this job look easy. Five guys arrived on the scene, all on time and all wearing masks and gloves. Very professional and respectful crew. What I thought was most impressive about Harrington and this crew was how they paid attention to the small details which ensured the job would go perfectly and it did. Jeff Harrington and his crew are fantastic! Really wonderful experience with them relocating from NY to Florida in late May. The 4 person crew was on time and was careful with our belongings! They got everything situated in the moving truck and off they went to Florida. Our truck only took around 2 weeks to make the interstate move, and that was in the middle of a pandemic. Wonderful job all around, especially with the Florida crew, who helped move us into our new home! Harrington is a transparent, honest, and award winning company. I have to say if you are looking for men with Superpowers, this is the place to call. I had another moving company with 5 men that could not lift this Italian marble table top that weighs in at a whopping 861 lbs., and trust me i know the weight because i paid the freight to get it here to the USA....I called Harrington movers and they sent a crew of 6 men but to my surprise I must say these 2 guys by themselves lifted this table top like it was a lunch box, it was incredible to watch the strength, dedication and professionalism of this crew.They were kind courteous and most of all, did the what I thought would be impossible for 2 men to handle. But guess what I was wrong.... Moving is a very stressful ordeal so we went with the uniformed professionals at Harrington Moving and Storage. For just a few dollars more than the other estimates, it turned out to be a worthwhile investment. Adding to the stress was the time constraints in the building of our new studio. We had to be moved in by 3:30pm or we wouldnt be able to use the elevator.The first thing we became aware of was how much everyone loved their job and how proud they were of their owner, Jeff Harrington. Jeff a hands-on type of guy, was HILARIOUS and deserves his own TV show. To his credit, his crew were quiet professionals and they took every precaution in protecting our gear. I operate a small production studio and have lots of expensive cameras and equipment but I was at complete ease at the way their operation ran.At the end of the move we were expecting to be hit with some hidden fee but instead we got a kind rebate. Now they have a customer for life.Harrington Movers is everything a real moving company should be. They made a very stressful day a lot of fun. The moving industry should either model itself after Harrington Movers or figure out a way to clone Jeffery.

It took us weeks until we finally found the right company that we felt comfortable with hiring, there were many concerns we had about the guys who we would choose and Harrington Moving & Storage satisfied all of them. My 85+ year old parents hired Harrington to move them from their home of 45+ years to a nearby apartment. The company is supposedly experts at moving antiques. So far, we’ve found the crew broke an antique small table and mirror. By itself, not inexcusable as things break in moves, especially delicate antiques. That said, what shocked us is the Harrington crew made an “executive decision” to “repair” the broken items with glue and staples in the parking lot and neglected to inform us. To compound their decrepit, while trying to hide the damage, they didn’t provide the broken pieces. They had no problem accepting their tips and payment for the move. So far, the owner Jeff has been formulaic, slow to respond and has not inspired confidence in accountability. I will update this review with how things are remedied.

Harrington Movers did a fabulous job for us. They were courteous, prompt and clean. The truck was spotless as were the men in uniform. My floors were protected. They had special mattress covers to insure no bed bugs. The Harringtons have been at the for a while and it shows. Jason was our foreman and he was the best! Will absolutely use them again.
