Very good service. I usually do not have to wait a long time to be taken care of. They have a friendly staff and a very clean lab.

I went Tuesday afternoon and the lobby was packed, so my son and I turned around and walked back out. The next morning i went to a different lab that has gotten great reviews, and it was CLOSED. I told my son that we would give Maplewood another chance, even though the reviews are mostly negative. We walked in and it was only 3 people in the lobby!. The lobby looked and smelled clean. The receptionist, April was pleasant, comedic, and very helpful. I told her Id write a review because this Labcorp isnt as horrible as everyone made it seem. She said tell them please! My tech was Faosot. She was quiet, but then I started talking to her. She was patient with my son, who had to get blood work and was a little nervous. I also told her Id write a review because they have really bad ones . She thanked me and said sometimes people come in nasty and rude and then lie on them about what actually happens in the lab. I thanked them. And left. I was a very good experience! Thanks April and Faosot!!

The lady that sits at the front desk has a very nasty attitude. She do not know how to talk to the patients. I’m an adult, not her child. If you don’t like your job, leave and find something else to do or work from home.

First day open since Vivid isolation. I walk in and all computer s down. All patients wearing masks. The staff was not. When I asked for help, I was refused and then they realized computers were down. No social distance possible, too crowded. I left in tears as I was there for blood work for my lung disease. I have not left my house since March 2, so this is absolute horrible.

My daughter with autism had to have blood work done in the midst of the pandemic. I called ahead to try and insure a smooth quick visit. She ended up with a 30 minute wait and staff that did not try to accommodate her at all. Would not go back here.

Ms. Jennifer and Ms. April were very professional, patient and friendly. Smooth and easy check in and no wait. These women were great with my kids especially my 5 year old son who refused to get blood drawn and even with him kicking and screaming both women were still able to draw his blood. The way they handled the situation was great. I would definitely return to this Labcorp in the future.

It was a first time blood drawing for my 4 y.o. son and whole experience was very nice. We didn’t wait too long, everyone was very friendly and my son said it was no pain when they draw blood from his vein!!! How much better it could be? Thank you Lab Corp!

The worst lab I visited in my life, the girl was so rude Although it is normal to have some mark after blood laboratories, thats how she left my arm 😠 AVOID going to this lab

I came here a couple days ago and my experience was amazing.I had an appointment for 10:30 am for blood work,I arrived at 10:27am and was finished by 10:36am although they had other patients.The staff was friendly and helpful and that was the least time I ever spent at a lab.You guys keep up the great work!!!!I will be recommending you!

After read the reviews on this site. I was hesitant to take my children to this Lab. I went this morning and the visit was good. From checking in to the end was a very good experience for my children. The medical laboratory scientist was wonderful.

One of the most pleasant experiences Ive had. Front desk was very kind and patient. The doctor who did my bloodwork was very knowledgeable and informative. Will definitely come here again in the future.

As pleasing as lab work can be. I was dreading going here best on the reviews, but it was the complete opposite. It was very crowded at 7 am on a Saturday, but it seemed like many were seen within 45min -1 hour. I had a 3 hour glucose test and they put me in a comfort room so that I wouldn’t have to stay in the waiting room in between blood draws. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. (A guy cut in line n yelling broken English and the tech at the desk was still patient and nice to him!!!) I would go back if I needed to.Best time to go is 9am if going on a Saturday. It’s a ghost town.

Unbelievable.. I had the pleasure of getting this African woman who was terrible with social skill, and even worse with children. I came in with my 3 year old she roughed her up big time. I knew it shouldve been a red flag when she seemed irritable. She can yell and blame me for not holding my kid still, I held her very still when I saw her with my own eyes she was digging into my daughters arm when she clearly wasnt getting anything. I should know what a blood draw is, Im a nurse over at AHS. She couldve asked for help but instead I had to watch my kid crying out in pain. Once she got the blood that she needed all I got was a simple mutter that I can go.. My kid had to suffer the whole day through over a bruised arm, IF thats all it was!!!! I made plans for blood work, it shouldnt have included a trip to the ER to make sure she can use her arm right, Extremely infuriating! I can see this more than a couple of times someones complained about this lady.... wonder why shes still there?

I entered Labcorp and they have a new digital check in. People that attempt to go to the counter, are redirected to the digital check in. No employee is at this new digital counter to assist patients. I entered what appears to be all of my information. Walk away and sit 30 minutes. I go to the counter to see when I will be taken and they tell me Im not checked in. I asked why isnt anyone heat to help or a sign with instructions. She says every lab has it. We are the last to get the digital check in. I DONT GO TO EVERY LAB MISS!!!!😡 I come to this lab! She happily informed me that I will be waiting for everyone that checked in before me. Never really enjoyed coming to this lab in the past but its the closest one to my house. I dont think I will be returning. I will travel for better service! Even if I had to wait, she showed no care that patients need help with the new system. She will gladly do the same thing to other patients without offering assistance. As we speak there are patients standing at the kiosk asking each other how do I do this?

Alisha Smith, the specimen collector was very rude obnoxious, not compassionate at all, berated the patients, claimed everyone stunk, didn’t want to do her job, incompetent and quite frankly a horrible representation of your company

I just came from this labcorp and I only went there bc it’s listed as one of the facilities that does Pediatric bloodwork. My thing is that if you are taking blood from a child you have to be interactive and make sure the child can trust you before you stick a needle in their arm. That wasn’t the case. The lady came in there didn’t even say good morning. Didn’t acknowledge my child or myself. My son is three. She just took all the tools that she needed and then told me to hold on to my son. She asked if I needed someone else to come to the room and I answered that would be best. Then she said, “You can’t just hold on to him?” As if it was a problem that I asked for someone else to help. I held on to him and she stuck him. Of course my son was screaming crying wiggling and what not and she couldn’t get all the blood she needed. I spoke my mind and told her she wasn’t pediatric friendly and the only reason I care here was because it catered to kids. She she said well we cater to everyone and if you don’t want me to do it then I’ll get someone else. Another guy came in and tried the other arm. He was a bit more interactive but at that time my son wasn’t having it. He got stuck again and again they couldn’t get much blood bc my son wouldn’t be still. Why would you expect him to cooperate if you’re not even talking to him?!? I am very upset and will not go to this facility nor recommend it to anyone.

Clean and quick. Two words that came to mind when I walked out after my blood work. I have been to other Labcorp locations but this one was the quickest of all. Practically no queue. However, I found staff little rude. For them saying good morning, showing which room to go were hard work.

Rude UNPROFESSIONAL staff. The women who work here must eat anger and drink rudeness before the beginning of their shift. They have a sign on the wall that says Kindness is always in season, however that is not what the patients receive here.

Went to office on Milburn Ave. for blood word. The technician first put on her gloves, operated the computer, collected the test tubes, tied my upper arm with the rubber, and proceeded to draw blood from me without changing the contaminated Ugloves. This is how diseases are spread. Labcorp, do you train your technicians or do you just care only about the income you derive from these services?

Went today and I swear the lady that they had working the front desk had to be the biggest dummy ever (African lady, dont want to review the wrong person).. I gave her two orders from two different doctors and the dummy looked at them in confusion. Then proceeds to tell me I cant have bloodwork done because I ate so I made it clear no one told me to fast.. dumb bird goes you should have asked your doctor no b**** if I was supposed to fast it would have been told to me (Btw me eating prior to the appointment meant nothing. They were supposed to give me stuff to drink & have me wait an hr without eating after the drink)! I say Ill just do the bloodwork the other doctor ordered this dummy tells me again after looking confused that l cant get it done because its the same, no you idiot its not the same its 2 different tests ordered by 2 different doctors. After saying it a few times she finally comprehended, I THINK! I have a seat and she calls me back up & tells me I cant do my urine sample (Im 29 wks pregnant) because the doctors office didnt give me a urine kit..THE KIT IS SUPPOSED TO BE GIVEN BY LABCORP! So again l say l will just do the other bloodwork, she goes come in I have 1 room open l go inside and sit for like 5 mins & nothing so l decide to not deal with the idiot anymore and leave omw out she goes l never said go in YEAH DUMMY YOU DID!.. BECAUSE YEAH I WANTED TO GO SIT NEXT TO A SCREAMING BABY FOR 5 MINS FOR FUN! Idk if she was filling in or what but they picked the wrong dummy to cover the front desk. Ive never dealt with someone so unprofessional, incompetent, and all over the place! Know your job and if you dont know ASK SOMEONE ELSE WHO DOES! I swear she was an idiot! Stay away from Maplewood Labcorp! Drive the extra few minutes & avoid the dirty office and idiotic staff.

Came to this location to get bloodwork done and 3 weeks later my doctor informed me they never received the results. After calling and arguing they lost the results. So unprofessional and disorganized. Go to another location and save yourselves the hassle because you will be disappointed as soon as you walk in the door.
