I recently had the misfortune of having to use Primary Service Group for a large sewer line replacement project. Primary was assigned to the project by the insurance company and, based on this experience, I will never engage with Primary Service Group for another plumbing, heating or cooling issue ever again and would also advise others to seek other options.On a positive note Primary was able to convince the insurance company to cover a full replacement of the sewer line rather than a spot repair. That, however, is where the positives end. Primary was incapable of securing the necessary permits and paperwork from the town in a timely manner or show up for inspections resulting in significant delays while taking zero accountability and placing blame on everyone but themselves.At the conclusion of the project, 5 full months from its beginning, my property (specifically driveway) was left in a state of disrepair and we were left with an unusable driveway. Primary was also either unable or unwilling to properly repair the public street despite multiple promises that it was part of the claim and would be done. I was even told by the owner of the company that the process to repair the street (Infrared) was something that only 2 companies in the state of New Jersey had the equipment to do so it would likely be a while before that could be completed. After not hearing from them for 3 months, which I fully expected, I was easily able to find another contractor with the Infrared equipment to repair the street at my expense.The owner of the company, with much bravado, would consistently tell me how wonderful Primary Service Group is and what a big favor they were doing for me while not taking any ownership or accountability for any of the missteps securing permits, not showing up when they said they would, missing inspection appointments or leaving us with driveway that was a safety hazard and could not support the weight of a car.For reference, a few months ago a family a couple streets away from us had the identical issue and worked with a local company that was able to secure all of the proper permits in a timely fashion, replace their entire sewer line and properly repair their driveway in 2 weeks. Our project lasted 5 months and then we subsequently has to have our driveway completely redone and the street properly repaired at our expense as Primary Service Group could not stay true to their word and actually complete the job.From my experience, Primary Service should be an absolute last resort for your plumbing, heating and cooling repair needs. If you do engage with Primary Service Group you should do so with extreme caution.
Joseph Colombo & Luis Vega are THE BEST.They were very professional and took very good care of my home. They Installed a new AC Unit and everything is running great. It is very comfortable in my house now. I am very very happy with the work. They also installed my Nest Thermostat which I am in love with. I have used Primary in the past for the install of my hot water heater and repairs to my furnace. Will always use Primary Service Group for my heating and AC. Call Primary Service Group if you want Great Service and if you get Joe or Luis I know you will get great service!!!!!
