3 stars because not all the staffare bad. Most are nice behind the desk but deliveries can never come on time. Had a package that was supposed to be 2day priority. Never came. And, there have been multiple occasions where a delivery slip was left in the mail saying no one was around to receive the package or nowhere safe to leave the package. Both not true.

A small but good post office. It gets busy around the holidays due to its small size, but even then the line moves well.The postal workers seem nice, too. I had to speak with someone after a stranger stole a package out of my mailbox. The postman that I spoke with was kind.

Leaving this review purely based on nostalgia, seeing as I haven’t been to this location in years! I grew up in Maple Valley and during my teenage years is when eBay became a thing. I was here 2-3 times a week shipping stuff off. The whole staff knew me, so much so that after I moved out of state (9 years ago) my first time back (2 years after moving) I walked in and was greeted with “you’re back!” - I had assumed they long forgot me by that time. Great memories!

A small office, covering a large city. Friendly staff and great service. Figured people would review this office more for how much they circle the review portion of the receipt, but I guess its easier to write a review when youre displeased... 10/10 Would use office again. :)

So impressed with this post office!! First of all we love our mailman (in Meadows at Rock creek development). Second, I had a missing package. Said it was delivered. It wasnt. Called them on the phone and talked with them about five minutes. Within an hour my package was delivered to my house. The labeling was a bit different than usual so I understand how it was misplaced. Such great follow through though!! Our mailman is so friendly and great!

Ive gone to this post office several times, every employee I have had has been very helpful and pleasant. I also usually never have to wait more than 10 minutes and the line is generally short (though likely depending on when you go), but Ive always had a good experience and fast service compared to my visits to other post offices.

Just got off the phone and spoke with a very helpful and pleasant employee. I was trying to track a package. We finally figured out where the package is and it will be delivered today. He was cheerful sounding and it was a positive experience. So many times people will review negative experiences. Today I received outstanding customer service so I would like to report it! Good job!

Me and my dad sent a package internationally today. They gave us the usual signing paper blah blah. The staff were pretty nice, but it is a pretty small post office so thats kind of a meh for me. Overall theyre pretty good.

This is the very worst USPS I have ever dealt with. Multiple occasions where office staff are inconsiderate and show no compassion.I can only assume the delivery drivers are incompetent. I just moved to this area and already had two occasions where packages were marked incorrectly and undelivered.And, they never answer the phone.Spoke with management, Doug, and he seems to have troubles communicating truthfully. Mentioned the sent me a letter, I askwhere they sent it and the story changes.They did not send communication of any changes up holding my mail and simply decided to just not do so, without informing me or letting me know what my options were.Good to see where my tax dollars are going. And feels great to be ever so warmly greeted as a homeowner by this maple valley post office.

This office (or at least the driver) appears to be cutting corners as I keep having a regularly delivered package being “returned to sender”. The address has been confirmed to be correct from the sender and on the packages that have been delivered before... what gives?

Awesome post office. The ladies at the counter are always friendly and willing to help.Whenever I have needed help with mail someone was there to help with the issue.

We are having an issue with packages being deliveries to our house. About 4 weeks ago we got a new mail carrier and she wont leave our packages on our door step. The reason is that we have dogs in our house not outside but in our house. Since she can hear them barking she wont even stop or attempt to delivery and drives off making us take time off to get our packages. The old mail carrier walked up left them at the door no problem, The new one gets in her car and before she starts her route or get to my house says that we dont have a secure area because of our dogs which are behind a 3 inch door? We have contacted them and they are not resolving the issue. We have never had problems in the 12 years we have lived here and no we do and they wont do anything about it. Awful

Be careful shipping internationally from here. The staff has no idea how to PROPERLY prepare a package.

The ONLY delivery carrier that never even attempts to deliver packages, leaving the sorry we missed you note in the box every single time. I try not to shop with anyone who ships USPS but sometimes it still happens. And since my husband and I work for a living during the week we have to wait until Saturday each time, planning our day off around the USPS package hostage negotiation, to retrieve my packages. USPS is absolutely the worse. UPS, FedEx, DHL, OnTrack, and Amazon, all deliver to with no issues, meanwhile if something is accidentally send by Postal Service I have to this a week and plan my weekend around it. Not to mention the line at the post office for the one person who usually tends to the whole counter alone and talks about herself with each person for forever without a care in the world while while half the people in line all waiting with our brownish-pink slips in hand impatiently waiting makes it even extra torturous.

The older lady with the white hair that sits at the far right when you walk in was very rude and has horrible customer service . She told me yes that my package was there . Then after looking for it for a minute she told me I have to come back tomorrow because they are unorganized in the back and “ she doesn’t have all day to look for my package”. Mind you there were no ther customers in line behind me and I’m pretty sure you getting people their mail is your job when working at a post office .

Fast, friendly staff..... Its a post office! What else can you say?

I just recieved my IRS amended tax return that the post office sent back to me after completely destroying it. It has clearly been run over, ripped and soaked in some type of liquid which has destroyed the contents of the envelope....The reason for the return to sender, $0.21 in postage due.

Driver stopped in front of my house, then took off. My tracking information then said they attempted to deliver and left a notice. The lazy driver did not even get out of the vehicle, let alone leave a sorry we missed you card. I got off work early to be there to sign for a package today, now because its Saturday afternoon, they are closed, and of course closed tomorrow, so I will have to wait until Monday for something I paid extra for to get on Saturday. What a joke.
