Biggest joke of a company Ive ever had to deal with. Would love to give ZERO stars but I cant post unless I give something, so here is another ONE STAR review. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. My dog is more professional than they are.

Rented from them a while back. The owner of the property decided to sell it before my lease expired. When I went to claim my security deposit, the claimed I broke the lease, and was behind on the rent for the month AFTER I had moved out.Took them to small claims court, they never showed up and I was awarded judgement. They ignored the judgement and I have to do collection. Still havent got my money back. Terrible experience.

This is a terrible company. They have yet to ever actually address an issue - every service ticket results in them telling me to fix it myself using the owners information (which I dont have) and them closing it out, or them not responding at all. This past weekend during a statewide heat advisory, my AC went out and they couldnt be bothered to respond to me for 4 days, and only then after I used a different contact method that they state not to do. The response was again to tell me to use the owners info (still dont have) and fix it myself. Interestingly, they closed my service request as having been completed the day after it was submitted, which is a blatant lie. If you think renting a property they manage will protect you as the renter, think again. They could care less about anything other than collecting rent and you will be on your own.

This rental company does not care about you or if you have any issues with a property. The only thing they care about is making sure you pay rent on the 1st of every month.

MN Home Rental has been my partner since 2010. The entire crew has been helpful, informative, responsive and supportive through the entire process.I have not used all of the services they offer, but they have served me quite well. They take the tine to talk though any issues an help all aspects of the rental process very simple.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company only cares about the money received and not about the residents they claim to provide services for. Maintenance requests would take multiple days and claimed the work was complete, while telling us blatantly that they took shortcuts. When we moved out of the property we were renting, it took us 5 tries to get ahold of someone to answer move out questions that were nowhere to be found on the lease or any documents online. Yet if staff needed something from us they texted us daily morning and evening. Glad to be rid of this company and rent with a better, more organized company.

This company has a BIG issue with HONESTY. Caught lying from the start. They actually attempted to have an application fee for someone that WASNT even going to be living there...and no we did not need a guarantor. Furthermore, you cant EVER get a hold of a representative. I WOULD NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION EITHER. IDENTITY THEFT VICTIMS BEWARE. Finally, I would NOT do business with them....this goes for OWNERS and RENTERS. STAY AWAY!!! MNHOMERENTAL IS A JOKE.

I would give Minnesota Home Rental negative stars if I could. This is literally the worst rental company I have dealt with in Minnesota. They will not fix anything and I mean they will not fix anything for you it doesnt matter what it is. The air conditioner didnt work properly, the microwave was broken, there was pest problems which they did not disclose before the signing of the lease. The Owner Chad Emery is a Slumlord, he slanders tenants, did I mention refuses to fix anything, tries to illegally raise the rent during the lease and steals deposits to fix repairs he previously refused to fix. The Owner Chad Emery is a liar and will stop at nothing to steal from tenants. Watch out for this rental company as they do not abide by any Minnesota housing laws. Do not let their lower costs pull you into their trap you will regret it. If you have a home you want rent out go with another company and if you want to rent a home go with another company.

Awful experience working with this company...After finding a place I was interested in, it took a week before the designated associate called me back about it. Once I applied (and paid for the application of course) I was quickly denied because my employment couldnt be verified...I had just moved to the area for a job and included my offer letter but apparently they ignored it and made one phone call to a person who probably had no clue who I was since I hadnt started yet, and that was that.When I was trying to work through that issue (I had my HR person who hired me ready to call them) their phone system wouldnt work and every time I spoke to somebody the phone would cut out. We then had to resort to communicating through email and the questions I asked over and over were never answered. They just wanted a co-signer to apply and sign up...probably for the extra application fee. Because later that day after they told me to have somebody else sign, they told me they went in another direction. Luckily so did I, as I quickly figured out this was not a company you want to work with.Minnesota Home Rental is poorly run, with associates who do not get back to you and are very unhelpful. This whole situation could have been resolved with one phone call and yet nobody seemed to care enough to make it. Stay away!

I am an owner and worked with Eric. He was quick, professional and very helpful in listing, showing and leasing my property. I also asked my previous tenant their experience and she said they scheduled directly with her a time that was convenient for photographing the unit and gave plenty of notice for showings. The new renter explained the process as being electronic driven and quick.As the owner, I also had to work with my association in renting the condo which came with additional paperwork and some back and forth. Because of this there were several areas where a lot could have gone wrong and it didnt. Eric managed his internal team and was fabulous at keeping everyone in the loop.I would recommend them and I will use them again.

Terrible company. Rented with them for 2 years, with no problem. When our lease was over the person showing our house very rarely gave us 24 hour notice and once he didnt even manage to close the front door. This is house was in Minneapolis and we came home to an open front door. Also, they tried charging us an extra months rent upon vacating. Just a lot of hassle with this company.

We submitted a request for clothes dryer repair. Terrible response time, cant contact anyone, using their suppliers which took forever, and/or a repair service with only one person booked way out. It was just shy of a month to get a working dryer. Really frustrated with their lack of efficiency and communication.

So hard to get in contact with anyone at this company. Also extremely difficult to get a clear HONEST answer about specific questions. I was lied to several times before I submitted an application. They told me I was the first one to apply for the home; next thing I know, spent $39 not even 30 minutes later and I was the 3rd person to apply...

Only concerned with getting the money. Could care less about repairs getting done in any kind of quality manner. They never answer there phone and there office is a mail box out a ups store. What are they hiding from? Very unprofessional and extremely poor communication. I would not do any business with them in any way. I moved into a filthy place with bugs all over the place and maggots in the trash...now they want me to clean it to extremes upon moving out. Do not do business with these folks they are dishonest and unprofessional.

I wish I would have read reviews before applying with this company. 3 weeks after they approved and endorsed our application to the owners, we were declined. Slow communication during the whole process.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. I asked for a rent analysis and never left my phone number, only email address. An hour later I got a phone call from Eric. They say they promote themselves on KFAN. Ive never heard their promotion and listen everyday. Ive notified not only KFAN, but also iHeartRadio, for potential misrepresentation.

Hard to get a hold of a person, they are very unhelpful and constantly harass me with emails even though Ive stopped living at their property and have settled with the landlord
