Wanted to charge $15 to fax 5 pages to one number!
I brought in a very large package during the busy holiday season. The staff was great in being able to help me out and went above and beyond. As it was a very busy day, it naturally takes some patience as the customer, though I didnt have to exercise much. In the end, unfortunately my package was damaged in transit.What really stood out was that the Staff here was my advocate and got me the claim check back for the insured amount with zero hassle. Dont hesitate to ship here and visit Ethan or Tim for AAA service levels.
Excellent customer service as I navigated an international delivery.
I dropped off a package today, paid the shipping, and left. I then got a call from the store saying they couldnt accept it because it was packaged in a wine box, and I would have to come back. I called back an hour later and asked to speak with the manager. He acknowledged that the store employee had made a mistake in accepting the box, saying she was busy (there was no one waiting in line behind me). I listened to his explanation, said I heard what he was saying, and then said I thought since they had accepted the box, they should repackage it for me and ship it. HE HUNG UP ON ME. I was not rude. I was polite. My tone was civil. I called back, he wouldnt take my call. This was Tim, the owner. Ive been a customer of this store for 25 years - used to have a PO box there. This is terrible customer service and just cost them a long-term customer. If they had just been nice, just apologized and said theyd help repackage it if I came back with another box, that would have made the difference. Instead there was no apology for creating an inconvenience, and then the owners behavior was reprehensible.
Just got off the phone with them to track a package that has been there for 2 weeks not moving very rude individual would not help me everything I suggested he would tell me no sucks. Bad day or something.
The service at this location is always fast and helpful. Even with holiday rushes and long lines, Ive never been in there for more than 3 minutes sending off my mail.
Not to bad considering the time of year right before Christmas.
I have had 2 issues with this location and have decided to no longer patronize it. The first time I was there to do an Amazon return. Amazon advertises free drop off, they will package and ship at all UPS stores. This location said that wasnt the case and offered to sell me an envelope for $4. The second time I had forgotten to print my UPS shipping label. I asked if I could email them the label to print it out (they have the store email address helpfully displayed for this purpose) - they said it was a $3 charge to print the label! I understand a small convenience fee but $3 seems unreasonable.
My 20 year old son went to pick up a package my wife ordered. He had my wife’s name, the tracking number, the same last name and same address on his drivers license. Wouldn’t give him the package. My wife is out of town due to an emergency.

Had to print 100 copies of a Funeral Program, not having a super great day and not familiar with how this could be done quickly, I felt uneasy. I met an Angel who took his time to walk me through all my options and ensured that my expectations were exceeded. Even when the printer jammed, they didn’t send me away in frustration - they came up with a solution. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Very polite, attentive and knew his equipment. Will come here next time I’m feeling overwhelmed. I hope I get him again. Thank you UPS for being a stable moment during this uncertain time.
Came to make a return from an Amazon purchase. The person helping me was visibly frustrated that I didnt know to remove any labels already on the package and was a little rude to me from then on. Its not like I ship things all the time and its a bit upsetting to be treated like Im supposed to just know. I will not me coming back here.
I usually come here to drop off my Amazon returns using the QR Code from my phone. Very fast and efficient. In and out in less than a minute 😊.
I had an urgent need for a notary public to come to my location, and I called the UPS Store. The owner, Tim, came to meet me within 20 minutes -- and he charged me the same amount as what I would have paid in the store. He was amazing -- he didnt even hesitate. And the fact that he didnt even charge me a premium? Wow. He treated a very sensitive situation with tremendous compassion, warmth, and professionalism. Ive done business at this store before, and Tim and his employees have always been wonderful -- interpersonally AND business-wise.
Typically NW BURBY Preference Location. Very Inconvenient, So, what happen to the MPLS NE Location. Off 280 & Broadway Ave NE, which is equally more centrally located. in the Metro location.On spite, however irrelevantly One Whiner Typically Complains re: @ the NW BURBY Location.I’ve never experienced an Issue with any UPS Locations & to be Truthfully. the less whiners, the better service can be Performed Professionally.
I just dropped off a package here, there was a young, very polite and helpful man who helped me. I was doing an online return and still needed to tape the package shut and tape the return address sheet to the front (didn’t have packing tape at home) and the man helping me told me not to worry about it and that he would take care of it! Printed my receipt and had me out the door in under a minute. Online returns are a hassle, but this guy could not have made the whole thing easier for me!! I’m sad I didn’t look to see his name so that I could give him the credit he deserves but I really appreciate the amazing customer service.
I’ve found in recent interactions the staff here increasingly unwilling to be helpful. They also continually berate the partner companies that their company works with, e.g. Amazon, because they dislike their procedures. Their default response seems to be “I can’t do that” while referencing arbitrary procedural rules which seem to change each time you go in.
Simply the best UPS staff I have ever encountered. I came in to get paperwork notarized for my 6yo and the staff was awesome. Friendly and helpful, even as my 6yo took forever to sign his name. Very prompt service too. Thanks for a quick and simple notary experience.
Tim is a Renaissance Man. I showed up at this location 25 minutes after they opened to see people lined up outside of the store, and Tim (alone behind the counter) was knocking out task after task, phone call after phone call. At one point he was assisting two customers at the counter, and assisting (what sounded to be) a disgruntled customer on the phone. I was stressed out FOR him, but he was calm, professional, and handled business. Be like Tim.
I absolutely love this store: great service and an excellent crew. Mel always so friendly, I love when she is working!! I cant imagine this store getting a bad review. I dont know what the person below me is talking about, Mel is great. Highly recommended!
Was given a shipping label from a company that wouldnt print correctly for the employees in the store. They tried every way imaginable to get it to print correctly for me, but it simply was not possible.The team members assisting were very patient and made sure that a correct label was printed. They even went as far as keying in the tracking information manually in order to rectify the problem. This was all while juggling multiple customers that were constantly coming through the door.I followed up with them the next day and they confirmed that the package had left the store without a problem, and was on the way to the destination.
Staff so efficient.and friendly gets you in and out fast!
Got some business cards printed here for my company and they looked amazing. Never knew UPS does more than just shipping. Will definitely use them again for business and personal needs!

Super rude employees
Was in a bind to get a document notarized. Saw their page didnt listed a notary on Saturdays but being that I was in a bind, I decided to call and just ask. The guy that answered the phone was professional and told me there was a notary in. We were greeted right away upon entering the store and asked what they could do for us. We explained we had called about the notary service and a few minutes later, the notary came out, explained the fees for the service, asked for our IDs, and what he was notarizing. Simply, quick, easy, and thanks to them, I was able to get done what I needed.
5 plus rating to the UPS store in Maple Grove!!After going to a FedEx store in Maple Grove to send an envelope to Mexico, but after they tried several times to enter the address and failed after each attempt telling me it must be a rural area we dont ship to, I went to UPS. Here it was NO problem at all and only took a couple of minutes - the envelope was sent. BUT best of all - it arrived in Mexico to the rural area the very NEXT DAY!THANK YOU UPS Maple Grove! :)
My local UPS store that gets the job done well. Never have had a poor experience. Staff is always friendly and have never had to wait more than 2 mins. Also I have no quality issues with packages getting lost/delayed leaving this store. No issues and consistently pleasant experiences so Im giving this business a 5 star review.
Tim and his team are the best! Recently, I had a very important document that required a signature delivery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The insurance company where my document was being delivered sent the UPS driver on a wild goose chase. UPS did not give up and signature delivery occurred today! Thank you UPS and Tim for making this happen!
I use the locally owned UPS Stoe for all my small business shipping and receiving needs. Tim the owner and his staff are very courteous and helpful. I would recommend this small business to anyone.

Very poor customer service... I ordered a package that was supposed to be delivered on Thursday (out for delivery by end of day according to the track my order) which was then pushed back to Friday when no one showed up. I reached out and they said someone had tried to deliver it on Thursday night but didnt leave the package for whatever reason. Then instead of delivering it the next day immediately, they again pushed back the date to Monday because they were behind.... I would recommend any other shipping company that actually works to ship packages on time and provide solutions for customer issues rather then excuses.
The staff here really care about you. They are very accomodating and willing to go out of their way with printing. Ive experienced flawless service at this location and would recommend it over other locations.
Extremely poor experience, and very rude manager. I brought my ID as instructed by the UPS website to pick up my package, but the addresses on my package and ID did not match so I was not permitted to take my package. As I was speaking with the manager and pulling up confirmation on my phone that I had re-routed the package to their store, he answered the phone and walked from me while I was mid sentence. When he finished his phone call I had to flag him down because he did not come back to our conversation. I told him it was quite rude to take a call in the middle of speaking with me, at which point he became quite irate and started giving me attitude. He got a list of policies and held it up right in front of my face, just pointing and telling me its policy and I shouldve known. I asked if there was a manager I could speak with, and he said Let me just go get him, stood and stared at me for a moment and said Oh hes right here so guess you already are [talking to him]. I returned a bit later with a piece of mail proving my address to pick up the package and a different associate assisted me. On my way out the manager I had dealt with originally came over to the individual who assisted me, and was gesturing to me and rolling his eyes and laughing. Very unprofessional. I was irritated I couldnt pick up my package when I had proof I had re-routed it to their location, however this wouldnt have been such an issue had the situation not been handled so poorly. Had the manager been polite and professional when explaining the policy to me there would have been no issue. Quite frankly I was shocked he was so rude to me, and then his behavior only worsened. Needless to say, I will not utilize this UPS store in the future. The disrespect I experienced was astounding, and I will certainly not support a location that condones that behavior toward their customers.
I ordered a package off Amazon said it went to egan than maple grove and has been in maple grove since last Friday was supposed to be here that Monday and now another wk later still nothing I tried filling a claim and calling Amazon I just wanted to get a electric scooter CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP
Website for this location states that this location will take any item no matter how big or bulky. This is not true. I had a package that was 24x36 and about 100lbs and this store would not accept it nor offer any custom packing solutions to help pack. The staff here seem to be unwilling to more than the bare minimum for customers. Choose a different location if looking for customer service.
Tim, the owner, has created an environment that encourages his team members to go that extra mile for you. They are friendly and customer service oriented. I have a great mountain-top experience every visit.
Kyle genuinely wanted to help me ship some gifts to my brother who is deployed. While I was waiting on a phone call, he carried in a package for somebody. He offered. Little courtesies like that make a big difference.
I called to find out why only one of my boxes was delivered and the other was not...... according to the delivery website/page my package is in maoke grove.... when I tried to confirm The UPS customer service member hung up on me..... Im very irritated. I had 2 boxes that should have been delivered and only one was left...? they were the same freaking item.
Stopped for Amazon return. Took longer to park than I spent in store. Polite and professional.
I have always had world class customer service hereMy explanation to Ginas reviewThe employee was offering you The UPS product not postal.If you want it tracked with a date certain delivery thats the way to go. In order to get pricing they have to put in dimensions and return address, that is the reason for the questions.However the employee should have evaluated your needs prior to wasting your time and offered postal product along with UPS and let you make that decision. That was an inexperienced employee. Hope this helps.

Total rip off for Notary Public Service. Went there for notarizing documents. They charged a hefty $5 per notarizing. The weird thing is that, even though you are the same person signing in front of him, he would charge you separate for each signature. I would recommend check with your local credit union or bank before going here, which I didnt do and wanted to help others by giving this info.
As I entered the store, I asked that I would like to courier a package. They had no clue what courier means. I said I need to post. Then I said I need to ship a package AND then they came back to this world . Probably shipping is the only word/vocabulary they are aware of - UPS are you listening ?
As I left my house, my daughter said, Dad, would you please drop off this package for me. She handed it to me stating, I couldnt find the tape. No worries, I thought. UPS surely has some tape. Turns out I was right, they do have tape. You just need to endure the nontaped shaming to get it. One customer Service rep said, we can tape it but we expect you to have tape he passed me off to another rep who did the same thing. When did a 6 piece of tape become such a huge commodity that you cant go above and beyond to provide service. Its not like I was asking for much. I was just asking for a little help to use their service. Next time Ill use someone else to ship.
Have been using this store for some time - ALWAYS excellent service. Love chatting with the various crews; have gotten to know Tim, Mel, and Kyle pretty well.
Tim was fantastic! He stayed late to help me complete what I needed and was extremely personable and kind.
My company has been shipping with FedEx for the past 10 years. In order to print out something from the internet I am usually charged $0.13 a page. But not at the UPS Store! $3 to print one page today. Absolutely ridiculous! National company to go back to using FedEx
Staff was super friendly and very helpful! I had some photos enlarged to poster size and they turned out amazing! They were done that day and cost way less then kinkos!
I work overnights at a hospital, so I cant stay up all day for a package. When I go on the UPS app the estimated time of delivery just says by the end of day. I also live in an apartment building so how am I going to know you guys are here with my package? Nobody has tried to contact me which to me makes the delivery drivers look lazy. If I paid almost $20 for shipping then I really think I should get more effort then an app update saying receiver wasnt available. When I was! I know they can call because the original day of delivery I got a voicemail saying they couldnt get in without a key so they would try again tomorrow, never got another call or anything! I have no way of knowing when they will be here so I turn my phone volume up all the way before going to bed, and wake up with ONLY an app update. No attempt to contact me is ever made.
I have a box at the Maple Grove store and frequently ship items out with them. The service is very dependable and Tim and the other staff are great to work with.
Always easy there and always nice and helpful staff.

The UPS store is a really convenient way to get my packages shipped as well as all the printing I had ordered. They pack the boxes as careful as they can because they ACTUALLY CARE about the items in the box.
I came in there to mail a resume envelope with one piece of paper in it. The guy asked me have you mailed with us before? i said uhhh have i mailed things before, yes i have. He said whats in the package? i replied in the envelope? a form going to a childrens cancer center, exactly whats printed on the front he began asking for my phone number and personal info, which was already on the envelope. instead of saying hey can you just put some stamps on this for me so i can go i was patient because he seemed to not know what he was doing. He then measured the envelope with a tape measure and asked how important it is that it gets there. i said it doesnt matter when it gets there as long as it does He said ok thatll be Thirteen Dollars and some odd cents. Are you kidding!!! for an envelope!?!? with ONE piece of paper in it!? I took my envelope and mailed it the next day with 2 stamps on it (although the post office in my town said 1 stamp was enough). Quite the difference in price. id love to hear their explanation as to why one envelope should cost me 13 dollars instead of the common sense one or two stamps. What a Joke.

I sended some stuff to india for my family in April 27th 2017. Until today Ups didnt send any parcel in india to my family. In Ups maple grove They charge me too much for the parcel and they guarantee me and promise me that my family will get parcel on May 03 2017. But they not send my parcel yet.Try to to talk them they said that my family need to send some documents for Identity. My brother he already send his identity documents. but they said didnt get any documents from my family. My family Try call them to confirm about the parcel. But Nobody receive call in India Ups. I give my familys phone numbers to the Ups maple grove they said these all number not working. Now I am so frustrated bec I spend too much money to the Ups they said they can not help me. They said they have option that to give my parcel back but for that I need to pay again to the Ups.These people are so fake and not trustable. They dont care about my parcel. Try to call them in Ups maple grove but very bad responce.They are guarantee to the customer that they send on time international shipping. I recommend to anybody who want to do international shipping do not come to ups. Try Usps or other store. Very very bad customer service and Worst experience ever....

Worst owner ever, I wanted to open a mail box had my passport and drivers licensed and the owner told me that I didnt have proper documents, really a us passport is not proper huh ? I hope he changes the way he operates if he wants to be in business for a long time, I mean the guy wasnt friendly or anything,!!Not going there ever again and wouldnt recommend this store!!!!!
