Took my phone in to get screen repaired Took over a week to get back . Broke again a week later took back paid another 100 and when my wife picked up phone they tried to give back with a fried motherboard so they took another two weeks to get that fixed just to have them. Put my screen that I paid for back on and have it break two weeks later ended up taking it somewhere else and screen was done within a hour and have not had any problems ....they are not competent to get done right in a timely fashion and they kept putting me off and wouldn’t call me back very poor communication and quality
I got a call the other night from my granddaughter crying the her screen on her iPad was cracked. I told her not to worry as I know a tremendous place to take it to get the screen replaced. Of course I am talking about Manteca Computer Services & Cell Phone Repair. I took it in at 10:00 in the morning and within 24 hours I received a call from them informing me that the iPad screen was replaced. I have had other computer repairs done at this store and each time the service and repair were excellent. My granddaughter is happy and she thinks grandpa can get anything done. I would highly recommend Manteca Computer Services & Cell Phone Repair. A side note their repair cost was much cheaper than what Apple would charge and you didnt need a genius bar appointment -no wait.
I took my expensive 10 year Seinheisser headphones and basically told them what I thought the problem was and I didnt do my do diligence when I left them there and gave them a 30 deposit. I assumed it would be fixed at a reasonable price . And about a week or 4days later I spoke with some there . Thats when they started to change the prices and wanted another deposit. I had ready gave them what they asked for. Then, ( Eduardo) was the person on my texts . He texted he would need more money for a battery. I didnt think of that. I assumed it was a USB port issue. So then he texted me he need more for that and that . Heres the actually message ( Hi Josephine, this is Eduardo from Manteca Computer Services. I looked at your wireless headphones and the problem is both the battery and charging port. A replacement battery costs $25 and we do charge an installation fee of $30 for the battery. The charging port would have to be replaced through soldering. It would be $50 plus the price of the charging port to replace it. Please call us back if you have any questions.) It was later that day or next day I talked to him on the phone . And he changed the contract and wanted 60 to install the battery. So I got upset and took my headphones back, and I though mabey its the battery the whole time .so I changed it myself and voila they work,! And it cost 50 20 the battery (,amazon) they kept the 30 deposit.
I went in today to fix something wrong with my nintendo switch and no joke I wasn’t even there for 5 minutes. They quickly got to work and I was surprised when I got it back, professional people, professional environment. I’m definitely going back there again if I need an electronic fixed.
Review for Manteca computer services I was supposed to work as a technician; they had me opening-closing the store, running the register, and dealing with customers, not getting pay for any of the extra work. Expecting me to meet a quota of fixing four computers a day, so quality was not the best. the 5-star reviews for the shop are fake as owner pays people with discounts to leave positive reviews. The shady practice of paying temp employees under the table untaxed for the first month so they can cut them loose without paperwork
So far in this place I have found, good, straight talk technicians that deliver what they promise. They dont give you any surprises like hidden charges or tell you:Oh...this happened now like other places.These guys are honest and knowledgeable.They kept me updated on everything.
I had brought my Oculus quest VR head set in for a Mic software update they said that was no problem they had called me after about a week of having it and ask to do a factory reset on it and I said no it only needs a update after a few more days I called them to see if it was done yet. They said no so I said I would just come and get it when I got there they asked me if I had tracking problems with my headset No just the Mic .now my oculus is not even functional thats a 650 dollar unit that I cant even use now they said no problem to fix something they new nothing about .and now its unusable . very dissatisfied customer. My Oculus VR headset wont connect at all what did you guys do to it?
Veronica is very knowledgeable and helpful. I got my note10 plus screen assembly replaced. Also reimaged my laptop with windows 10. I consider this store and veronica very reliable, no nonsense treatment, helpful and trustworthy.

Technician is selling false advertisement, I bought what I thought was a MSI RX 580 8gb graphics card when it turned out to be 1060 3gb gtx graphics card. Technician claims that the 1060 is the same as the RX 580 when it’s clearly not. DO NOT buy anything from these scammers. Technician has zero knowledge of PC component brands! And tries to scam. I would highly not recommend this repair shop.
They steal you parts from your device never go there . I gave my laptop to them they take more than one month and never repaired take my new battery dvd writer from laptop and give me broke screen

TLDR: poor work, poor customer service, poor communication.The issue I came to the store for was a completely dead Samsung Galaxy S8, which was unresponsive without any clear issues.Heres a timeline of the events:Wednesday - I drop my phone off to be repaired. Juan says hell order a new battery and back-plate when I leave and call or text to let me know when it would be coming in, and he expected it would be 3-4 days.Saturday 10:52am - I call to see if the parts came in. They let me know the battery arrived and Juan would be working on it that day.Saturday 11:30am - They called to inform me it wasnt the battery. Juan suspected it might just be the screen, but I didnt think so, because I thought there would have still been vibration feedback when resetting the phone. Juan said they would check and make sure the phone was getting power from the battery.Monday - I call back to check in on the phone.Tuesday - Juan calls and informs me the phone was getting power, and it wasnt the screen, (I believe he said they ordered a new one and it didnt work either) and that he would try doing another reset, which would wipe all the data, which I told him was fine by me. (I didnt expect this reset to take long, so I was surprised I didnt get a call back that day).Wednesday (today) - I call in again, and a different employee tells me that Juan had gotten my phone working the day before. (I assumed the reset had gone well, and they just forgot to let me know.) He let me know Juan would be coming in at 12, and I wanted to thank him when I picked it up, so I came in around 1. When I got there, Juan wasnt there, so the guy who was inside went to grab my phone and tried turning it on. It didnt come on. He said hed call Juan to get more information. Juan then informed me the phone wouldnt let him reset it (paraphrasing) and that there was nothing else he could do, so he put the back-plate on.Needless to say that after having my hopes up, this was quite disappointing. When I got my phone back, I also noticed that the back-plate wasnt even on all the way (see photo).I wish they had just followed up more regularly and been proactive instead of making me feel like I needed to call in to find out what was going on. If they had done so regularly I would not have been informed my phone was working when it was not.Update: I wanted to provide this follow-up to show how drastically different this could have been. I made an appointment with a different company up in Sacramento. I drove up, went inside and explained the problem the same as I did here. The staff took my phone, put it on a charger and saw that it was pulling very little charge. He said he thought it might be the power distribution unit on the motherboard, and hed go in the back to test it. He came back a minute later and confirmed that was the issue. He told me Id need to send it in to Samsung to have it repaired.Didnt charge me a thing.In and out in 5 minutes or less.This is what should have happened.

I came to get my iphone 8 plus a new screen and I could tell management has improved with their customer service. Kevin was awesome and he was very attentive and friendly. It’s working like it’s brand new again! Highly recommended, I dropped my phone and it blackscreened but I still heard my text notifications and calls. The guy here fixed it up in less than an hour and nothing was lost and I paid a very affordable price. AT&T and the apple store were much more expensive and “fixing” it would have lost all my data.
Went in dead laptop - no lights on when plugged in. It was either a problem with the power adapter or something in the computer. The guy wanted me to leave it for diagnostics. To isolate the problem, I asked if he could just try their power cord. It took me a while to convince him, but he finally agreed. Still nothing, so the problem had something to do with the power supply, battery, or something in the computer. The guy was really kinda clueless so I left. Got home, did some googling, and tried removing the battery. Plugged it in, and it booted right up.
This is the second time we used this Wonderful gem of a place. They repaired an old computer, by changing out the hard drive and reinstalling medical software for our medical practice around 6 months ago. Two days ago they repaired our Samsung Galaxy 6S cell phone, by replacing both the usb port and battery. They are very pleasant people to work with and truly know their craft. I give them my highest recommendation, and will certainly use them again. Their rates are also Very reasonable.
First of all I got a computer that was all messed up and they said it had Windows 10 installed but it didnt and also the battery was cracked too. So I took it in and they lost my computer in the store and they keep on saying that they had technical problems but all they had to do was install Windows 10 installed. So now I have to wait even more to just get Windows 10 installed.

I am not sure whether they know their job or most probably they (he) just want to make more money hoping they can fool their client.It was a clear software issue but he recommended a replacement of the hard drive after diagnostics that would come up to a total of $180.00. I refused and had it done instead from another shop for just $10.00..
No star these guys are very unprofessional I walked in at 3 o’clock they told me my phone would be done in 45 mins I left I called back at 4:30 they said it’s not ready that it will be ready at 5:30 i said no problem i Drive over there get there st 5:45 and they closed at 5:00 why would you tell me to come back at 5:30 if you close at 5:00 ?? Now i have a flight at 6am Monday morning and i have no choice but to cancel my flight and pay 150$ for canceling the flight

Ive trued to come here at least 3 times and first time I got there 15 minutes before they closed and person said he too busy and could not help me and went back to talking on the phone. And the last time was today I went in for an adapter for my pc to connect my monitor they guy working didnt know what I was talking about. Then when I asked him where I might be able to get one right now he said he doesnt know anything about computers and that the tech is gone and I could come back on Thursday..... Today is Tuesday. Why even have a shop! I dont understand how theyre still in business!
Would be ok service if they don’t try to nickel and dime you. They charged me $75 more for a service they knew didn’t do anything. Be very specific with them or else they will try to play games and twist your words.

Over priced !!! Unwilling to do very simple tasks and unpuntual !!! They open if they feel like it and the one guy who knows anything tries not to show up then tries to diagnose your problem with u over your own phone will you are in his store !!! Iv given this place 3 shots to fix 3 different issues with 3 different laptops and this last time was the last straw for this place over the last 5 years . . . They told me 4 days including the weekend that came and went !!! Next the guy said buy Friday and this is now Monday then the Monday after that al.ost 2 weeks later they said to come pick it up they do not wish to fix it and refer me to another place Wich didnt even exist . . . If you want honest help with your computer go to computer guys in Modesto CA there you will be treated grate by honest people !!! Computer guys fixed my issue the right way I dropped it off on Friday afternoon and picked it up Monday afternoon stear clear of Manteca computer unless you are ok with being screwed over and lied too !!!

Went In to have my phone charging port replaced, when I got it back my speaker no longer worked. I took it back and was told because my phone was dead when I brought it I have no proof it ever worked and I’m sol. I talked to the manager and was told I could bring it back and they could replace the speaker and only charge me for the speaker another $25. So basically they broke my speaker to get more money out of me total scam and I will be reporting them to the bbb.

Had a problem with my laptop. called and spoke with a guy and he said he could take a look at it and that they possibly had the part to fix my pc. i get there, some girl stated they dont carry any of the parts i needed. she couldnt even look at it. i had to leave it but aint gonna do that. and their used pcs are almost as much as a new one.
WOW these guys are great, I originally took my computer to staples or geeksquad to see what my problem was and get it fix. They usually said I need a diagnostic first for $69.95, and then they charge me $99 to clean up spyware and cookies. This time my sister told me to take it to Manteca Computer Services. First of all they did a free diagnostic and explained my problem (too many toolbars, startup programs and add-ons on my browser) which the other place did not and then tech Yuri repaired my problem for only $59. He also showed me how to not get them again. Im very pleased with there service and excellent price. I do recommend them to everyone. FREE Diagnostics you save $70 before starting any service.

Hello, on May 7, 2020, I took a ps4 to this place, it took 3 weeks to make a diacnostico, I had to go to ask for information every week, and so at the end they told me that they could not fix it, they cleaned it and several specialists They reviewed it, they charged me $ 78 dollars (which they kept for them — well, I thought that was normal for the time they took, I took it to another place and when they showed me all the bad work I couldnt believe it, Im going to put photos so that they see the cleaning that according to what they did they broke it by opening it 😡 they returned it to me and they were missing screws🤦♀️ I can not believe the lack of ethics they did not even bother to speak to the last one I spoke with them and they returned the half of my deposit.
