With everything going on these days and my kids being virtual learners I wanted to get my kids away from all the screen time and show them a good time and Little K Acres far exceeded my expectations. My kiddos didnt just get an experience they got to make memories with each other while learning compassion for animals and building there self confidence. The staff are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. It was like getting a lesson from a friend or family member rather than a stranger. My kids beg me on a daily to go back so Id call this a mommy win!!

We had a great first experience! Lindsey worked crazy hard to fit us in on short notice and make a fun evening for my boys on Spring Break. Both boys smiled ear to ear throughout the whole lesson. Such a wonderful little place! My kids loved playing football with their dog too! :)We hope to ride again soon!

Found these sisters in June 19’ in, in a rush after having a hard time finding an affordable, and seasoned teacher. Our instructor taught my little all the basics and true process of being a rider. Ray loves her visit and horse”Gator,” she has not stopped talking about getting back to Ms. Ashley or her horse since. We currently live in Florida and do not get to ride so having memorable lessons matters. We will see you in November.

Daughter attended summer camp in 2018 & never stopped talking about all the fun times she had at Little K Acres! They treat you like family & give the kids such an authentic learning experience. It’s more than just riding horses, there are new friendships, swimming, crafts, life lessons like cooking and sportsmanship. We are really looking forward to this years Camp! Thanks for all you do!

We love this little place!! My 8 year old was new to even being around horses, and they took the time to make sure she was comfortable before just tossing her in the saddle. Our trainer is amazing, super patient and attentive. They make sure to pair you with the right horse and to me that is important. Lindsey the owner is so sweet, she is always out there working right along side everyone else. So glad we found Little K Acres!!!

My daughter has been coming out to little k acres for about 5 or 6 months now, she absolutely loves it! All staff are patient with kids and friendly, we always feel welcomed and leave each lesson excited for the next one! They are really great with training young riders to feel comfortable and confident while interacting with the horses. You will not be disappointed if you bring your child here, also very relaxed atmosphere you can just sit and relax and watch your child, while they have their lesson.

From the beginning to end this was amazing. I texted Lindsey @ 9pm the prior night asking for 3 adults and 2 children to come. She made all the right accommodations to assist us. Their dogs are so fun and family oriented. We were educated about names, back stories, and personalities of the horses. Also we were able take off their saddles and groom them. She even fixed an issue of not having the website on Google (I see you Lindsey). I was nervous about my 2 year old riding but after she moved around she was great. My baby had the BEST NAP afterwards. My mom and husband enjoyed themselves and my son is looking forward to next time. It wasnt that hard to find because Lindsey was very helpful to help avoid mistakes up front. Thank you ...(Stands and applauds for abnormally long time with random woohoos)

Yall! If you have a little one that wants to ride, TAKE THEM TO LITTLE K ACRES! Wonderful instructors who interact well with little kids and the lessons are so incredibly affordable! Absolutely amazed at how accommodating they are with such little kids. My son is 2, but LOVES to ride. A lot of places have an age requirement for lessons, so finding Lindsey and Little K Acres was such an excitement for us. Couldnt have found a better place for our little guy to start riding

Took my first lesson today. I haven’t been on a horse since I was a kid and really wanted to start from the beginning. Jared and Lindsey were so helpful! They adapted the lesson to meet me at my skill level and gave me specific feedback to help me improve. Great experience.

We came here with friends for our little girls 3rd birthday. She is in love with horses, but was a little timid for her first ride. The staff was amazing!! They went slow and were so encouraging. Before we knew it, our baby girl was up on the horses and rode for hours! She loved it and we had the best time EVER! Thank you Little K Acres! We definitely will be back for lessons!

Lindsey and her team are just absolutely fantastic - definitely use them for any of your event or lessen needs. I called Lindsey at kind of the last minute and needed her to move mountains for me in order to make a parade work. She showed up at the parade with 5 perfect horses, perfect riders, and even some helpers to walk along with us, and overall went well beyond what I needed. She and her animals are a dream come true. She is a professional woman to the utmost and will make the animal portion of your event seamless. I will definitely be hiring her again.

Took my daughter to have a 45 minute birthday ride! She got to ride blue, a very friendly horse! The instructor was so nice and easy to talk to. We felt very safe and comfortable. Her other animals were very sweet and loved to be pet! My girl had a great time, we made memories that will last a lifetime! I came from the hunter/jumper world and wanted to try something different. I couldnt be more impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of Little K Acres. The patience of this team is amazing as Im trying to get the hang of a new discipline. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking to learn; even if they know how to ride, or if they are just starting out. I also love the fact that Little K Acres offers a wide variety training; from barrels to play day events!

I had a wonderful experience with Lindsey at Little K Acres. I am an adult who is not a horse person. My sisters dream was to go to a dude ranch for a week and I signed up. I took 4 lessons with Lindsey in September 2017 to get more comfortable with riding before my trip and Im so glad I did. She even called the dude ranch directly to find out what I needed to focus on so I could learn what I needed to and not waste my time on things they did for me or were not important. Found out they do the saddle/unsaddle part for me, but I needed to be comfortable with trotting. Really glad we focused on that because I spent a week with a horse that likes to trot! Had a great time there and I know a lot of it was thanks to Lindsey!!

I have been taking riding lessons at Little K Acres for almost a year now and I have enjoyed every single minute of it. Lindsey and Jay make sure that you are on a horse that fits your experience level and will allow you to advance in your riding skills. They are very patient but are always encouraging you to do things that are new to you. This is by far the best stable that I have taken lessons at and I would never go to another!

Whether you are learning how to ride for the first time or are looking for advanced help with an established horse Lindsey is a great teacher. Novice students learn how to take care of, saddle, and ride a horse from beginning to end. Lindsey makes sure that horse and rider are well matched and takes care to teach new students good horsemanship right from the start. She makes sure that her students and horses stay challenged and stimulated and has created obstacles for the horses & riders to learn. These obstacles are an opportunity for horse & rider to learn as a team and establish a deeper more trusting bond. My 7 year old grandson had a horse rear up on him two years ago, got bucked and hadnt ridden since. He recently decided he was ready to try riding again. Lyndsey Kay was very helpful in getting the lesson scheduled and Jared was the perfect instructor for my grandson. Jared took him on the trails and up a little hill. While he was nervous at first, his confidence came back quickly and he cannot wait for his next lesson!

My child has been taking lessons at little k for years. She is not athletic, but Lindseys patience and coaching has made her feel confident and gave her a positive self esteem. Although she will never be on a HS sports team, she can always jump on a horse and ride with pride. Lindsey made her trust in her own abilities even when she failed. She pushed her to keep trying and never give up. There is no doubt in my mind that she will continue riding well into adulthood. We live in north Arlington, and the ride to little acres is like taking a trip to the country. We love little acres and are very happy with everyone who has worked with my daughter. Little K Acres has made my granddaughter’s dream of riding a horse a reality in a safe and inviting progression. Since beginning my lessons at Little K Acres, I have been taught not only in how to ride but also how to prepare a horse before the ride, and the correct care once the ride is completed. Lindsey provides riding lessons for a variety of ages, including young elementary through young hearted adults, as well as a variety of skill levels. No matter the riderso age or skill, Lindsey shows patience and respect to each rider. I started riding without any previous riding experience because I wanted to learn how to both care for a horse and ride. Whether youre looking to race or improve your horsemanship skills, you definitely want to give this place a chance!

My experience at Little K Acres has been wonderful! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The property is nice and there is an arena. I would recommend this place to anyone whos looking for an affordable and small boarding barn.

Our son John recently started taking private horseback riding lessons with Jared. My son suffers from anxiety and becomes overwhelmed quickly. Jared is very patient with John. We also love the horses! They are very calm and kid friendly. So glad we found this place. 🙂

Little K Acres is an amazing place! I have been going there now for almost 3 years and they are amazing! I also bought a horse from them and I now board there and I am there more than 3 times a week! Jay, Paula, and Lindsey are amazing! I would never go to a different ranch!!!! :)

My daughter had been asking for riding lessons for a while, so I told her to do the research. After reviewing several places, she said she wanted to go to Little K Acres. I looked at all the information she gave me and I decided on it as well. We were hoping for a great experience and we were not disappointed. She has had three lessons so far and I can see how much she enjoys it. She has learned so much in a short time and she already thinks shes an expert lol. She wants to ride long-term. Lindsay is awesome and we couldnt ask for a better teacher. She is patient and cares a lot about what she does. The horses are great too. They are all sweet. My daughter has ridden two of them so far, but has fell head over heels in love with Al Capone. One of the best things about Little K Acres is how affordable it is. I think its better to get a set of 4 or 6 lessons. I would definitely recommend going to Little K to anyone eager to learn. You wont regret it. Im seriously thinking about learning to ride myself.

The owner made an appointment with us the same day we called and was extremely helpful. She and her staff were very nice and took their time with us.

Finding Little K Acres was probably the best thing that could have happened to my family! My husband and I have improved tremendously in our riding thanks to Lindsey and her amazing teaching skills. She helped out timid, scared daughter slowly get over that by taking her time, using different techniques, and being extremely patient. You will learn all aspects of riding including saddling and unsaddling, care, and more. Lindsey offers so much and is such an amazingly sweet person. It makes riding not only fun but something my whole family looks forward to every week. I highly recommend Little K Acres!

Lindsey is a great rider and teacher. She has always had a special bond with her horses and students and always goes above and beyond for them.
