I moved to Ohio from Arizona and garbage is handled by the city there. I had no idea how to order trash service. I called a list of trash services and no one answered but GGWC. The lady on the phone was very helpful and when I told her I was going to call around she was very polite and said to call back if I decide to use them. When I called back because no one else answered their phones she was really helpful and got me set up. Now the collectors are great and took our moving boxes too. One time my trash was missed and they sent someone out to collect some. Arizona trash collection wouldve never come back out if your trash was missed.This company has been very nice, responsive and helpful anytime I have contacted them and I appreciate them.

We moved to Lexington from California and have been blown away with the service that GGWC has provided us. Theyve done things that we are not used to that truly prove they do care! Thanks for the great service!

One star is being generous. First off, in order to check if the routes are running normally or not you have to check on their Facebook page, not the website... Secondly, if you choose not to pay for their cans you will most likely not receive the stickers that they require to be put onto your cans so they know to pick up your garbage up and will pass it by and not pick it up. Even after this being a problem 4 different times and requesting said stickers you still wont receive them and will be blamed for the issue... There are plenty of more reliable garbage services in the town. Pick another!

Used this company for five years. Used to be a great company with good customer service. Now they just threaten to cancel your service because you question an issue with them. It’s just sad to see how a great company it was, turn into the train wreck it now is. Good riddance!

Every week i have to stop traffic on lex-springmill to move my trash can out of the middle of my drive. despite my placing it 5 ft to the side for collection the driver always leaves it in the middle of the drive so i cant get in without stopping traffic. this is extremely dangerous for me and pure laziness on the part of this company.

Always prompt and great service. Customer service has always been friendly and efficient when we’ve had a question or called to change our address for services.

I’ve double checked the holiday schedules just to be sure I’m not wrong and for some reason even though I’m paid up my trash is picked up some of the time and I just don’t have the patience this place anymore

These guys are awesome! They take boxes as long as you put them out nicely....we just moved into a house so our garage is full of boxes....we just been setting some out a little at a time! We will be box free in no time! Thank you Garbage guys!!

I have been a patron of GGWC for 4 years. The prices are very reasonable and they always pick up my trash on schedule. They also have reasonable rates for additional items, such as carpet, box springs, etc. I have recommended them to friends and family in the area.

Great services & Reasonable prices. This company will even remove latge items for a fair cost. We have been with them since I saw our previous serices tossing recycling items in with the garbage early one morning... a service we had been paying extra for each month. Garbage Guys rates were lower, service better and I just take care of recycling now myself.Give them a try if you are unhappy with your service & check them out even if you are not.

Horrible customer service. They just cancelled our service out of nowhere and didnt give us a reason why. They never pick up our trash when they say. And when we said something about it, they blamed us and accused our neighbors of stealing one of their dumpsters. Its always something with these people. And now this? Ridiculous.

I called Garbage Guys Who Care because they forgot to pick up my trash. They said that they would send someone out to get the bags so that I would have room until next pickup. He said he was sending just a regular truck instead of the large pink truck. He said my pickup guy is your neighbor. I sat all the bags out. Birds ripped them apart so I called late that night and left a message I said “I thought you were coming to pick up the garbage, if not maybe I need to go to Rumpke”. So he calls me 3 times the next day and I answer the 3rd call. He began ready to battle. He said “Let me be honest with you. Your can wasn’t out the night before. Your neighbor told me that it wasn’t out. Me thinking it was my true neighbor way down the road. I said why would they call you? He said my worker lives down the road and said it wasn’t out. I said “ I saw it there at 5:30 am when I left for work”. Immediately he said “ I just caught you up in a lie”. And I said how is that? He said you took it out in the morning. I said I didn’t say that, I saw it on my way to work. We go to bed early and my fiancé puts it out at night. So there you have it. I said are you the owner and he said yes. I said and that’s how you treat your customers? He said I’ll refund your 54.00 dollars.🤬 and hung up. Again he got his self all worked up by listening to his worker instead of realizing it is truly just garbage. I did tell him on the phone it is just garbage. People don’t know your battles. I lost my husband 3 years ago at 38. Right then I said I will never sweat the little things again. Maybe they should heed my advice!

The people who pick up our trash love to play games and Im not sure why. We put our trashcan at the edge of our driveway to orevent it from damaging the grass. They put my can 10 feet over into the grass and they put my neighbors can on my grass as well (they put theirs out on the opposite edge away from my lawn)Sometimes they leave it in the MIDDLE of my driveway so when I come home from work I have to get out and move it before I pull in. You guys are a class act let me tell you!! I wish I still had the pictures so I could upload them and show you.IF the owner cares at all (I doubt he does) then my route is willowood drive east on Wednesday morning... But I doubt anything will be done about this.Edit: I was contacted by management and the problem has since been resolved without further issue.

I have been with GGWC for a few years now. I know it is a very busy time with graduations. I missed putting out the garbage on Monday. Although it was my fault, I sent an e-mail and they sent someone out by Wed. This is the second time this happened and they took care of us. In addition, the men who come to our house are always kind. Thank you!
